Sauce Walka & Sada Baby Connect On “Slime In Chalk”

Sauce Walka has delivered his brand new album Birdz Hunt Snakes, a twenty-track release featuring guest appearances from Sada Baby, Trippie Redd, DaBoii, Sosamann, and more. This one arrives directly on the heels of another new album in Sauce Train, making this particular week a fruitful one for Sauce Walka fans. 

On Birdz Hunt Snakes closer “Slime In Chalk,” Sauce Walka unites with Detroit rapper Sada Baby, a rapper with whom he shares an appreciation for authenticity — not to mention a habit of voicing opinions that occasionally land them in hot water. In any case, the pair have solid chemistry and the track makes that clear, with both parties turning in menacing verses over piano-fueled production. With Sada and Sauce Walka having equal time to shine, there are plenty of menacing bars to unpack from the stylistically diverse duo, whose varied cadences combine make for quite an interesting pair. Sada, calculated, unpredictable, and prone to sudden maneuvers; Sauce, explosive, in-your-face, and direct.

What Is Future Getting Ready To Drop?

Future is no stranger to the sequel. In fact, the legendary Atlanta rapper has previously teased continuations of many beloved projects. By his own admission, we’re looking at the potential release of Monster 2, HNDRXX 2, and What A Time To Be Alive 2, all of which have been teased throughout the past few years. And that’s not even factoring in recent solo albums like The WIZRD and High Off Life, both of which may very well end up spawning sequels of their own one day.

Though it’s uncertain if and when any of the aforementioned sequels will see the light of day, it would appear that Future is gearing up to release something. The rapper recently took to Instagram to implore his fans to “get ready,” which likely signals that some new music is on the way. But given how many plates he’s currently in the process of spinning, it raises an important question — what is Future’s next move? 

Monster 2 might be next on the docket, given how frequently Future was promoting within the past few months. In fact, he was recently seen working in the studio with Metro Boomin, Esco, and Southside, signaling that the anticipated sequel is, at the very least, in the production phases. Future also indicated that he would be saving HNDRXX 2 for 2022, though it’s entirely possible that he was simply testing the waters. And while some might call it the best-case scenario, What A Time 2 remains an absolute dark horse pick, especially unlikely given Drake’s own Certified Lover Boy being so imminent.

Of course, it could be that Future is looking to subvert expectations and deliver something entirely different, be it a tone-setting single or a completely original new album. Either way, his request that fans brace themselves for something mysterious is an interesting development, made all the more so given the vast vaulted catalog he’s been steadily cooking up. Sauce Walka Drops Off His Latest Solo Project “Birdz Hunt Snakes”

Sauce Walka isn’t playing around in 2021. 2020 included the release of two new collaborative projects, though the last time we received a solo body of work was back in 2019 when he released Ghetto Gospel 2. Walka’s raw delivery and charismatic persona met with the passion in his tone has made him a street favorite, despite his often unpopular opinions. It seems that fans can expect a whole lot more music from him this year.

Earlier this week, Walka shared his latest project, Sauce Train alongside El Trainn and quickly followed it up with his latest solo project, Birdz Hunt Snakes. Laced with 20 songs with a runtime of upwards of an hour, the rapper enlists the likes of Trippie Redd, DaBoii, Sada Baby, and more for assistance on the tracklist. However, a large number of the features on the project are frequent collaborators of Sauce Walka.

CJ Dances And Dazzles In His Fiery ‘Set’ Video

Staten Island rapper CJ continues his quest to dominate pop culture with the video for “Set” from his debut EP Loyalty Over Royalty. This brings the total number of music videos from that project to five of eight, including “Whoopty,” his original breakout hit, “Bop,” its first follow-up, and “Real One,” which he released in the final week of March to extend his run.

In addition to the aforementioned videos from the EP, he’s also released multiple remixes of “Whoopty” to ensure maximum saturation. On the “NYC Remix,” he recruits French Montana, his vocal doppelganger, and Rowdy Rebel, the GS9 New York drill forebear who recently ended a six-year stint in prison, to hype up the Big Apple aspect of the standout hit. Then, he got in touch with his roots via the “Latin Mix,” which features Reggaeton/Latin trap stars Anuel AA and Ozuna to talk smack in Spanish.

To date, “Whoopty” by far remains CJ’s most popular track thanks to an infectious beat that even other rappers find irresistable. So far, Tierra Whack, Westside Boogie, Polo G, and Young M.A have all gone in with freestyles over the melodic loop, with more sure to come.

Yung Baby Tate Announces The Deluxe Version Of ‘After The Rain’ And A New Single

Atlanta rapper Yung Baby Tate is currently a hot commodity after releasing her album After The Rain and the breakout success of its single “I Am” with Flo Milli. Striking while the iron is white-hot, YBT told Fox Soul’s The Mix that a deluxe version is in the works and coming “very soon.” She promised “five or six” new songs, as well as a new single, before she begins work on a follow-up.

Elsewhere in the interview, Tate shares the inspiration behind her breakout hit “I Am,” and recalls how she was signed to Issa Rae’s Raedio record label. She also insists that the XXL Freshman cover should be all women, and talks relationships, including one she recently ended as a result of inconsistent communication.

Tate, whose rise to stardom included a standout appearance among the boys’ club on Dreamville’s Revenge Of The Dreamers III track “Don’t Hit Me Right Now,” also recently appeared on Australian rapper Tkay Maidza’s 2000s pop culture-inspired “Kim” video as a gigantic version of Kim Possible villain Shego.

Ski Mask The Slump God Is Planning To Drop 3 Projects This Year

New music from Ski Mask The Slump God is on the way, and there may be much more than fans originally hoped for.

Yesterday, the Broward County, Florida artist took to Twitter to give his fans a major update. After quickly apologizing to his followers for the seemingly endless wait for new music following the release of his debut album Stokely in 2018, Ski Mask assured his fans that new music is heading their way this year. 

However, Ski Mask The Slump God isn’t just prepping the release of one project. In the tweet below, the Stokely artist reveals that he is working towards dropping three new projects in 2021, joining the ranks of artists like Mac Miller — who once announced that he would release four albums over the course of 2014 — and Kanye West — who aimed to follow-up 2016’s The Life of Pablo with two additional albums before the year’s end.

In the tweet, Ski Mask simply writes, “Sorry For The Wait Man But I’m Aiming To Drop 3 Projects This Year.” Nearly 12 hours following that tweet, Ski Mask has yet to expound upon his shocking statement, so as of now, there are no release dates or potential album titles for fans to get hyped over. However, the promise of new music from Ski Mask The Slump God is probably enough. 

As seen with Mac Miller and Kanye West, not too many mainstream artists are able to drop three projects within one calendar year, regardless of how much they want to. Do you think that Ski Mask will be able to pull it off?

Trump Apparently Isn’t Following His Own Call To Boycott Coca-Cola

Despite constantly railing against “cancel culture,” Donald Trump has often led the charge along with his conservative cohorts against celebrities and companies who vocally oppose their agenda. Even as an avid fan of Coca-Cola, he called for his followers to boycott the company after CEO James Quincey expressed his concern over the new legislation in Georgia that “makes it harder for people to vote” — otherwise known as voter suppression.

“For years the Radical Left Democrats have played dirty by boycotting products when anything from that company is done or stated in any way that offends them. Now they are going big time with the WOKE CANCEL CULTURE and our sacred elections,” Trump fired back in a statement to Save America PAC. “It is finally time for Republicans and Conservatives to fight back — we have more people than they do — by far! Boycott Major League Baseball, Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, JPMorgan Chase, ViacomCBS, Citigroup, Cisco, UPS, and Merck. Don’t go back to their products until they relent. We can play a better game than them.” 

It seems that he can’t even boycott the companies that he called out. Stephen Miller shared a photo of himself with Trump after he had a “terrific” meeting with the former president. Internet sleuths quickly pointed out what appears to be a bottle of Diet Coke sitting behind his telephone. However, it doesn’t seem like the on-demand Diet Coke button he once had at the White House is installed at his Mar-A-Lago office. That seems to be an upgrade from a health standpoint, at least.

As one user called it, “The odds Trump will boycott Diet Coke are north of 750-1.” 

Majid Jordan Announces First Album Since 2017

Majid Jordan fans have been rewarded for their patience, as the Toronto-based r&b duo have officially announced their plans for a new album in 2021. The album will be their first release since 2017 when they dropped off The Space Between, a project that featured guest appearances from their OVO labelmates dvsn and PartyNextDoor.

On Friday, April 2nd, Majid Jordan appeared on OVO Sound Radio season 3’s third episode, premiering their first single “Waves Of Blue” at the tail end of the show. In the days that followed, the duo took to Twitter to provide a closer look at their future roadmap. “Hey everyone, it’s been a while we miss you,” states Majid scored by his partner’s soft piano stylings. “We’ve spent time listening, feeling, learning, and we’re ready to share our experiences with you.”

“The story begins with our new song ‘Waves Of Blue,'” continues the message. “It’s the song that takes us to the place that we all want to be — our wildest dreams. We’re working on finishing our next album, so stay tuned, and we’ll see you soon.” Though they didn’t provide a window as to when the upcoming project might be expected, a later tweet confirmed that lead single “Waves Of Blue” will be landing this Friday, April 9th. It will be their first official release since “Superstar” in 2019.
