Three of the brightest stars out of the UK have connected for a smash. Geko, Ms Banks, and BackRoad Gee have teamed up for their brand new collaboration, “Woi Oi.” The infectious new single is driven by the afrobeats rhythm and the flaring horns while the three artists deliver a catchy melody with braggadocious bars. Check it out below.

Geko has been delivering some stand-out hooks over the past year. While it’s been two years since his album 22, he has been sharing some new singles recently including “No Calling” with KD Blockman.

BackRoad Gee had an incredible breakout year in 2020 and his recent collaborations have shown that he has no sign of slowing down.

As for Ms Banks, she recently released “Pull Up” with K-Trap which has fans excited for her next album.

Teyana Taylor Reacts To Being Named Maxim’s “Sexiest Woman Alive”

Their “Hot 100” in Hollywood list is filled with lust-worthy celebrities have that taken over the entertainment industry, but Maxim reserved their top spot for Teyana Taylor. For the first time in the history of their publication, Maxim named a Black woman as their “Sexiest Woman Alive,” and to say that Teyana is excited is an understatement.

On Monday (June 7), the feature article was revealed along with Taylor’s cover and she penned a lengthy caption on Instagram regarding the less-than-sexy circumstances surrounding her photoshoot. “Somebody pinch me!!!!” she began. “Maxim Hot 100 to be named the ‘Sexiest Woman alive’ by literally living in the skin I’m in.”

“As a entrepreneur, wife, a busy mother of two & working behind the lens in my director bag I tend to hide behind my sweats & vintage tees,” she added. “So I as you can see I don’t have much time to be and feel sexy. This particular day was dope because it made me see another side of myself. I had just dropped JUNIE off at school before heading straight to the shoot; sweatpants a beanie and an army jacket. My hair wasn’t done for a ‘shoot’ because I planned on throwing on a wig & I didn’t have on any make up.”

However, the photographer, Gilles Bensimon, wanted to shoot her in exactly what she was wearing with minimal makeup and not much done to style her hair. “I say all of this to say in the true words of Audrey Hepburn… ‘The beauty of a woman is not in facial mode but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years.'”

“Embrace and love yourselves for who & what you are because only the purest heart shines through,” Taylor concluded. “Thank you @maximmag I am truly honored to have graced the cover.” Check out a few hot shots below.

Safaree Samuels & Erica Mena At Odds Over Custody Of Kids: Report

Their relationship, engagement, and wedding were all centerstage on Love & Hip Hop, but Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena are calling it quits. Back in November 2020, Safaree “announced” online that he and his wife would be divorcing, but he quickly returned with an apology while calling his antics immature. The couple soon resurfaced with happier moments, but there have been a few instances over the last six months that made people think there was trouble in paradise.

Not long after revealing that they were expecting Baby No. 2, Erica filed for divorce last month. While they’ve been private about speaking on details that led up to their official split, TMZ reports that the estranged pair are at odds over who will receive primary custody of their children.

When they moved into their dream home, both Safaree and Erica were excited for the new chapter in their lives. However, TMZ reports that Safaree is willing to give his ex the house, but he has rejected Mena’s request for primary custody. Instead, Safaree reportedly wants joint legal custody which will give him more rights in making decisions for their kids.

The reality star also reportedly said he “wants consistent and uninterrupted parenting and visitation with his kids.” Safaree is willing to give up his rights to their current home as long as his name is removed from any financial liability. As far as property goes, he wants the cars and has asked to keep any and all personal property purchased during their year and a half marriage.

Safaree also flat out has rejected alimony but will honor whatever child support payment that the courts see fit. Recently, Erica has shared images of herself in the hospital and revealed that they’re doing their best to make sure Baby No. 2 doesn’t arrive too early.

Lil Durk Told To “Stop Dissing” By King Yella After DThang’s Murder, Calboy Calls Out “Sacrifice Jokes”

The tragic death of Lil Durk’s brother Dontay “DThang” Banks has sparked several conversations. Over the weekend, DThang was reportedly shot and killed during an altercation at a nightclub in Harvey, a city just south of Chicago proper. Artists have come forward to tell Durk to stop mentioning certain people in his songs, including King Yella, a friend of FBG Duck’s who gave his condolences about DThang while telling Durk to “stop dissing.”

Chicago’s Calboy also weighed in about DThang’s unexpected death, especially surrounding conspiracy theory gossip regarding his murder, but it doesn’t look as if Yella appreciated his take. “Bro ain’t gone speak on nun but all these sacrifice jokes lame asf,u ain’t never lived a real street life to know this sh*t come with casualties on both sides,” wrote Calboy.

“It’s them pains that gets converted into motivations which lead to success.. it’s still pain,” he added. “Let em grieve in peace plz.” His message was reposted by RapCatchUp on Instagram and King Yella hopped in the comments to call out Calboy.

“@1147calboy shut yo goofy a$$ up yu sound just like the mf you [eggplant emoji] riding,” Yella penned. “We know yu a fan that sh!t be real just shut tf up if you ain’t exposing this [angry censored emoji] up Industry.” It doesn’t look as if Calboy has responded, or if he will in the future. We continue to send our sincerest condolences to Lil Durk and his loved ones during this difficult time.

Swizz Beatz Reacts To Polo G’s Freestyle Over DMX’s “Ruff Ryders Anthem”

Polo G is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album, Hall Of Fame. It’s a bold title for an album from an artist who only broke out two years. However, his run since the release of Die A Legend has proven that he has a long career ahead of him. For one, he can actually rap his ass off and he’s proven this on numerous occasions but clearly, his recent appearance on The Liftoff has been winning even more people over.

Earlier today, the rapper’s freestyle on Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk’s show made the rounds on social media. Polo came through with bars over the late DMX’s “Ruff Ryders Anthem” for his L.A. Leakers freestyle. He breezed through with bars over the Swizz Beatz production before interpolating the iconic hook with his own twist.

A clip of the video landed on TheShadeRoom where Swizz Beatz reacted to the freestyle. With a slew of fire emojis blazing in the comments, it’s safe to say that Polo G’s freestyle has met Swizz Beatz’s approval.

Polo G’s forthcoming album is stacked with massive guest appearances. The Chicago rapper already shared the Lil Wayne-assisted single, “Gang Gang” last month. Hall Of Fame includes appearances from Nicki Minaj, the late Pop Smoke, Roddy Ricch, Lil Durk, and more.

Migos’ ‘Culture III’ Cover Illustrates Their Connection Pretty Literally

Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff of Migos have always shared a deeper connection than most rap groups (thanks to shared familial bonds), but on the cover of their upcoming album, Culture III, the three rappers’ connection is made more literal. Featuring a trio of overlapping portraits along with their signature doves flying through the background (maybe they’re really big John Woo fans), the cover for the third installment of their signature album series splits the difference between the first two, borrowing the collage-style art from the first and the portrait aesthetic from the second.

The album is the group’s first as a trio in over three years after they took most of 2018 off to release their respective solo records. Quavo released his Quavo Huncho first, then Takeoff followed up with The Last Rocket, and lastly, Offset dropped the more personal Father Of 4 after a delay owing to his ongoing marital issues with Cardi B.

The group initially planned to release Culture III in 2020, but of course, due to the global pandemic, were forced to shelve those plans — although, the delay turned out to be a mixed blessing as it gave the boys more time to record fresh material in sessions that allowed them to share the studio, according to Offset. The group revealed the new release date with a Michael Jordan reference; Culture III is due this Friday, June 11, and Migos will headline a three-day festival to promote the album later this year.

Check out the cover art above.

Migos Share The Cover Art For “Culture III”

Migos hasn’t taken the traditional route to promote their forthcoming album, Culture III. In the years since releasing 2018’s Culture II and their respective solo albums, there have only been a handful of singles that have been released. However, it’s “Straightenin’,” the only single they’ve released from the album, that they shared to kick the campaign off for their new album.

Fresh off of their performance of “Straightenin'” at the Mayweather-Paul fight, Migos hit the ‘Gram with the official cover art for Culture III. The artwork includes a graphic of Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff faces overlapping each other with their signature chains hanging off of their necks in front of a white background.

On Wednesday, Migos will be making their way to Jimmy Fallon ahead of the album’s release. Quavo took to Twitter where he hinted at a “special performance” that “U Ain’t Seen Coming.”

During a recent interview with Complex, the Migos frontman described the project as a “breakthrough,” especially since the album was supposed to be out in 2020. “This is the sonic boom to the new life and new world that we live in,” he said. “We’ve been going through this pandemic for like a year and a half. So, we’re coming back with Culture 3. We haven’t dropped any music in three years. The year that we was going to drop, the pandemic hit. So I just feel like it’s a breath of fresh air.
