Wack 100 & Mysonne Exchange Fiery Words Over 6ix9ine Interview

The anticipated conversation between Wack 100 and Tekashi 6ix9ine facilitated by Akademiks has finally happened, but not everyone is receiving the news well. 6ix9ine has become Hip Hop’s pariah following his testimony against former Nine Trey associates, but that hasn’t stopped the New York rapper from returning to the industry, working with artists like Nicki Minaj and Akon, and making his way back onto the charts.

Wack 100’s artist Blueface has recently engaged in a war of words with 6ix9ine on social media, and after the pair went tit-for-tat, the California star called out his foe. Blueface wants to see 6ix9ine in the ring, but it doesn’t seem likely that a fight will go down anytime soon.

We previously reported on Wack 100 sending out a call to see 6ix9ine face-to-face, and after it occurred—reportedly for a three-hour conversation—the Hip Hop manager took to his Instagram to address critics who called him out for not attacking or assaulting 6ix9ine.

“The difference between me & you is simple,” the text image read. “I do wtf I wanna do.” He added in the caption, “@akademiks put that 3hr interview up I did with @6ix9ine he showed up with no security & all his Jewlery after clubbing all night [shrug emoji] don’t expect me to do something to em and you negros didn’t ! I see EM as a civilian he told the truth. Blame the streets and that block for allowing a civilian to wear the hat of a gangsta ! Sad day when the so called hustler is being hustled by the good kid from the Corner deli !”

Mysonne decided to call out the situation over on his Instagram page. “‘Wack’ 100 is the BIG BAD Blood that just Did a 3 hr Interview with The RaT That told on the Bloods.. [shrug emoji] You can’t make this sh*t up.” In the caption, he told “kids stay out the streets” and to avoid gang life. “There’s no honor and integrity. These people will have you take a life or lose your life for people like this.”

The back and forth was just getting started, because Wack 100 returned to drop a few insults about Mysonne’s career while also saying if he watches the interview, Mysonne is a “fan.” Mysonne responded by resharing an old post that shows Wack 100 calling out 6ix9ine for disrespecting Snoop Dogg. Read through it all below and there is much more from these two.

Lil Nas X Evades Question About How Kanye West Got Involved In “Industry Baby”

All of the ruckus surrounding Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s “Industry Baby” has been keenly focused on nude prison shower scenes and what is and is not appropriate for kids to see in entertainment, but not many people have spoken about Kanye West helping to produce the song. Ye has been locked away in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta reportedly finishing DONDA after pump-faking the album’s release last week, but Lil Nas X pushed forward with “Industry Baby” in a big way.

Recently, Nas X chatted with media personality Kerwin Frost and was asked about how he was able to connect with Ye on the record. Unfortunately, the rapper couldn’t give an answer because it doesn’t seem that he’s allowed to speak about it. At least, “not yet,” he said.

After adding that he wanted to protect people involved and the connections he has made, Lil Nas X lavished compliments onto Kanye West about the evolution of the Chicago icon’s career. “We talked, he’s a pretty cool guy, super down to earth, super talented,” he said, adding that he got a peek into what Ye has been creating in the studio.

“It’s nice to work with somebody who’s done that for so long,” said Nas X. “So much longevity and still going.” He also stated that Kanye is greater than just an evolving artist because he is consistent in changing himself and his musical, public persona with each project or creative endeavor.

Meanwhile, Kanye has shared a few images about his stay in the stadium. Check out Lil Nas X’s interview with Kerwin Forst below.

Lucy Liu Recalls Bill Murray Verbally Attacking Her On “Charlie’s Angels” Set

The lovable stories about Bill Murray posing for photos with fans or offering wisdom about life have been interrupted after Lucy Liu shared a  story about working with the Hollywood veteran. The two acclaimed actors shared the spotlight back in 2000 when they starred in Charlie’s Angels, and recently, Liu caught up with Asian Enough, a podcast from the Los Angeles Times, where she spoke about a verbal altercation.

The incident reportedly took place during a rehearsal where, according to the Why Women Kill actress, Murray began to “hurl insults” towards her while they were going over a scene. Initially, Liu claimed that she didn’t understand what was going on but soon realized that the Ghostbusters icon was directing his energy toward her.

“I was, like, ‘Wow, he seems like he’s looking straight at me.’ I couldn’t believe that could be towards me,” she said. “I say, ‘I’m so sorry. Are you talking to me?’ Clearly, he was because then it started to become a one-on-one communication.” Liu didn’t detail what was said, but she called Murray’s comments “inexcusable and unacceptable.”

“I stood up for myself, and I don’t regret it,” said the actress. “Because no matter how low on the totem pole you may be or wherever you came from, there’s no need to condescend or to put other people down.” She added that when the media caught wind of the exchange, she found the public’s response to be sexist. “What came out in the press was that I was this and I was that,” she said.

“It was incredible to me how it was turned around, and they automatically thought that the woman was the difficult one. But I didn’t understand how it got flipped when I had nothing to do with instigating it or creating that platform of confrontation or anxiety.” Liu and Murray have long reconciled, and he even spoke about the incident back in 2009, reportedly saying he “will dismiss you completely” if he feels as if someone is “unprofessional.”

Dua Lipa Fans Want DaBaby Removed From “Levitating,” Victoria Monét Wants In

The DaBaby backlash continues after the rapper took to Twitter earlier to further explain his controversial Rolling Loud Miami moment. By now, you may have read an article or 10 about DaBaby telling the live audience to put their cellphone lights in the air if they don’t have HIV/AIDS or “any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks,” as well as men who aren’t “sucking d*ck in the parking lot.”

The comments were a bit bizarre, but once the video went viral, DaBaby faced a slew of accusations including homophobia and perpetuating archaic ideas associated with HIV/AIDS stigmas. Prior to apologizing to people affected by the viruses, Dua Lipa, who collaborated with DaBaby on the remix to her single “Levitating” last year, spoke out against his remarks.

The singer said she was “horrified” by the North Carolina rapper’s comments and soon, people were calling for Dua Lipa to take DaBaby off of the song. Many fans called for DaBaby to be replaced by an LGBTQIA+ artist, and Victoria Monét chimed in that she’s ready to lend her talents if needed.

“If she would like to replace DaBaby’s verse on levitating I’m totally available,” the singer wrote. Soon, social media was flooded with people wanting Dua Lipa to ditch the rapper for Monét or even Megan Thee Stallion. However, there doesn’t seem to be any plans to make drastic changes due to the controversy. Check out a few posts below.

Yung Baby Tate Blasts Guapdad 4000: “F*cking Clown”

The latest season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta has found new blood now that artists like Omeretta, Cuban Doll, and Yung Baby Tate have joined the cast. Fans were surprised to see Guapdad 4000 also make an appearance as Tate’s love interest, but there was a bit of backlash after he was seen setting the record straight on their relationship.

In a clip that went viral, Guapdad tells Yung Baby Tate that he thinks she’s a great person, loves talking to her, and enjoys having sex with her, but he believes that should be the extent of things. Online, people were condemning Guap for gaslighting Tate, but he retweeted a fan who said they saw his perspective and accused Tate of trying to intensify the romance “when the cameras came around.”

Yung Baby Tate didn’t appreciate the retweet and called him out. “Lmfaooooo this n*gga had the nerve to just call me to say he don’t want no negativity… sweetheart all the negativity could have been squashed MONTHS ago & u chose to keep it there. So we gone keep it there B*TCH… You wanted the negativity to be gone you could have responded to these messages.” Tate posted several screenshots of lengthy messages she previously sent to Guapdad. In them, she apologized for putting him in the situation and told him that she knows he isn’t a bad person.

“You chose to ignore them, continue acting like an asshole TO THIS DAY, then call me on your birthday like this sh*t is sweet. Boy, f*ck you!” She added, “I literally had a conversation with I before we shot that last scene where I said I was happy with the place we were finally getting to & you agreed. Then got on camera & played me to the left. Don’t do this. Cuz I’m not tryna argue with you. Happy 30th.”

Before signing off, she called Guapdad a “f*cking clown.” Swipe below to check it all out.

Common Says He Wishes Kanye West Produced A Third Album For Him

Before he received his break as a rapper, Kanye West made a name for himself in the early 2000s as a producer, crafting tracks for Jay-Z that included “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” “Takeover,: and “’03 Bonnie And Clyde” as well as other records by Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Beanie Siegel, and more. Kanye broke through as a rapper with his 2004 debut, College Dropout, and since then he hasn’t looked back. Despite this, he continued to produce for rappers like Common who recruited Kanye to heavily produce his 2005 and 2007 albums Be and Finding Forever.

During a recent interview with Andrew Barber for an episode of the Coda Collection’s “Story to Tell,” Common expressed his desire to work with Kanye for another album. “If there’s anything that I sometimes wish is I wished I would have did a third one with Kanye,” he said. “I will say that. It’s very rare that I’d be like, ‘Man, I should’ve did this or wish I did this.’ Because everything happens in this divine time. But I would’ve loved to have done a third album with ’Ye just … And maybe that’ll happen at some other point.”

During the interview, Common also revealed that he intended to work with Kanye for his 2008 album Universal Mind Control. Unfortunately, Kanye was unavailable to collaborate on the project because he was on tour at the time. In addition to that, Common also wanted to change his sound at the time which led to him working with The Neptunes for the 2008 effort.

You can listen to Common speak about a third album produced by Kanye in the video above.
