Kendall Jenner Celebrates Boyfriend Devin Booker’s Gold Medal Win

Kendall Jenner congratulated her boyfriend, Pheonix Suns star Devin Booker, after the U.S. men’s basketball team won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, Friday. Jenner shared a picture of Booker on the court after the win with a gold medal emoji on her Instagram story.

Despite a slow start, the men’s team rallied as the Olympics went on and defeated France 87-82 to take home the gold medal. Booker finished with just two points, but Nets star Kevin Durant made up for the slow shooting night by logging 29 points on 9-18 shooting.

Jenner and Booker have been romantically linked since April 2020, when rumors of their relationship first began to surface. On Valentine’s Day 2021, the couple made their relationship Instagram official.

A producer for Keeping Up with the Kardashians recently detailed Jenner’s decision-making when it comes to going public with her boyfriends, saying that he needs to know their intention beforehand she opens up.

“Kendall’s always had this rule — she just felt like she had to be with someone for at least a year before she lets them be a part of the show, because she doesn’t always know what people’s intentions are,” the producer told Page Six.

I need you to look into this man and see this injustice and turn this around. This man got kids. It’s almost 20 years of his life that’s been taken away..you know. SZA Says It’s “Disrespectful” To Create “Hip Hop” Holiday As States Ban “Teaching About Racism”

SZA voiced her frustration with the recent ban on “teaching about racism” in states such as Tennessee and Texas, on Twitter Sunday, likely referencing new state laws that ban the teaching of critical race theory (CRT). The theory is a method of examining the role race and racism played in the creation and perpetuation of structural and institutional elements of the United States. It also theorizes that disparate racial outcomes are the result of these institutional dynamics, rather than just intentional prejudices in individuals.

In her tweet, SZA directly expresses anger with the creation of a “hip hop holiday” while this legislation is being passed.

“Can’t explain how disrespectful it is to give ‘hip hop’ a holiday but allow Tennessee and Texas to literally BAN teaching about racism. We ain’t ask for no fucking monument. Do the right thing.”

Critics of the bans on CRT often say that the legislation provides no specific definition of critical race theory and will in turn be used to prevent the teaching of racism, the civil rights movement, Unites States history, and more. Critical race theory is often only taught in higher levels of education, and little to no evidence has been shown of the theory being taught in grades K-12.

Kanye West’s ‘Hurricane’ With The Weeknd And Lil Baby Appears To Be The First Single From ‘Donda’

Late last month, Kanye West announced a listening session at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium for his tenth album Donda, leaving many to believe that it would arrive shortly afterwards. “Hurricane,” which features Lil Baby and The Weeknd, is one of the many tracks that Kanye premiered during his most recent listening session for Donda, and it could possibly arrive as soon as midnight EST in the United States. As of Sunday morning, “Hurricane” was listed as track 2 on Apple Music’s pre-save page for the album. HipHop-N-More also reported that the single is already available in select international streaming markets, like Russia’s Yandex and Japan’s Line Music.

Moreover, according to Complex, KayCyy, who is credited as a songwriter on the track, teased its impending release in a now-deleted tweet, writing, “Y’all ready?” before adding shortly thereafter, “Ok I won’t say anything anymore.”

The upcoming single will be Kanye’s first track with Lil Baby, while it’ll be his third with The Weeknd. The duo first collaborated on the singer’s track “Tell Your Friends,” a track Kayne produced, from his sophomore album Beauty Behind The Madness. The second track together came a year later with Kanye’s “FML.”

T-Pain Said He Took Jay-Z’s ‘D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune)’ Personally And Almost Wrote A Diss Track In Response

T-Pain has faced his fair share of conflict in the music industry throughout his career. One big topic includes the negative reception toward auto-tune during the biggest points of his career. Many felt the singer’s use of the filter on his voice made it easier for singers who could not sing to find success in music, or as Usher allegedly put it, T-Pain “really f*cked up music for real singers.”

This resulted in another low moment for T-Pain with the release of Jay-Z’s “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” which many felt was targeted at the singer.

During a recent appearance on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs, T-Pain reflected on that song and explained whether he felt it was a targeted attack against him.

“Of course! A wise man once said, ‘You can’t knock the hustle,’” he said. “I’m the face of this. Just like Lil Yachty was the face of mumble rap—anytime somebody talk about mumble rap, Lil Yachty was the first person to come up. I was the face of Auto-Tune. Anytime somebody said, ‘Auto-Tune,’ I’m the face. So, when you say Auto-Tune is wack, I’m the face.”

He continued, “If I woulda said f*ckin’ blue Yankees are terrible, everybody woulda been like, ‘Oh you dissin’ Jay-Z now?’ … Anytime [Jay] says something is wack, it’s trash.”

T-Pain then revealed that he almost released a diss song in response to “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” but his team advised him not to.

“I was, like, really drunk. I was ready to go,” he admitted. “I went into the studio and started recording the record and my managers were like, ‘I think we just need to take a break.’ … We were supposed to take a break for four months, I ended up taking a break for four years.”

DaBaby Deletes IG Post Apologizing For Homophobic Rant

DaBaby has deleted his Instagram post in which he apologizes for his “hurtful and triggering” comments at Rolling Loud in Miami. His statements during the performance were considered by many to be homophobic and sexist.

The apology was uploaded on August 2nd, over a week after the initial comments.

“Social media moves so fast that people want to demolish you before you even have the opportunity to grow, educate and learn from your mistakes,” he said in the now-deleted post. “As a man who has had to make his own way from very difficult circumstances, having people I know publicly working against me – knowing that what I needed was education on these topics and guidance – has been challenging.”

The since-deleted post was only one of several apology attempts from DaBaby after his first response only made matters worse. The Grammy Award-nominated rapper originally said that his “gay fans don’t got fucking AIDS.”

“Even my gay fans don’t got fucking AIDS…they don’t got AIDS,” said the rapper. “My gay fans, they take care of theyself, they ain’t going for that…they ain’t no junkies. I said if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone light up. You know what my gay fans did? Put that motherfuckin light up.”

Earlier this weekend, Kanye West appeared to have removed his track, “Nah Nah Nah,” featuring DaBaby, from streaming services.
