DaniLeigh Has Given Birth To Her Baby: Report

In July, Def Jam singer DaniLeigh confirmed that she is pregnant, and while everyone has been clamoring to figure out whether DaBaby is the father of the child, it appears that she has already given birth.

Although there has not yet been any confirmation from DaniLeigh or DaBaby for that matter, The Neighborhood Talk has broken the news that the MOVIE artist has successfully given birth to her baby girl. “Neighbors, we can positively confirm after speaking with our sources that Dani successfully gave birth to DaBaby last night!” TNT claims. “Congrats [red heart emoji x2].”

Rumors of DaniLeigh being pregnant with DaBaby’s baby have been making their round through social media since April, and after DaniLeigh officially confirmed her pregnancy, eagle-eyed fans noticed that DaBaby liked the picture. And just a couple of weeks ago, DaniLeigh shared a new post of her baby bump using the hashtag “#dabiggest,” which the recently canceled artist had also tweeted out around the same time.

With the news that DaniLeigh has finally given birth, fans will have to stay tuned to see what she — and potentially DaBaby — has to say about the birth of her child. In the meantime, check out some of the photos and videos from throughout DaniLeigh’s pregnancy journey.

Kanye West’s “Donda” Gets New Release Date…Or Does It?

Kanye West is developing a reputation as the boy who cried “Wolves,” as his anticipated album Donda has yet to cement a release date.

That’s not to say there weren’t a few false starts along the way. Fans may recall that Kanye’s project was originally slated for July 23rd, with a full-scale listening party event taking place at the Mercedes Benz-Stadium in Atlanta. The date was then shifted to August 6th, with another listening event featuring a far more fleshed-out variation of the album.

Alas, the project never came, prompting some to lose faith. Shortly thereafter, Apple Music indicated that Donda would be released on August 15th, though many refused to hold their breath.

Now, we’re looking at yet another delay, to the point where it’s getting genuinely difficult to keep track. In a post shared by Akademiks, Donda appears to be locked into an August 22nd release — a Sunday, to be specific. Unfortunately, Kanye West’s penchant for push-backs has even his ardent supporters shaking their heads. Will this new release date hold? What exactly are the chances?

For Juicy J, the uncertainty has already proven to be quite lucrative. “I knew It!” he comments, on Ak’s original post. “I made a bet it would be pushed back & won $15k.” One has to wonder who this person betting on Kanye’s reliability was, as there’s a bridge salesman somewhere that’s simply dying to meet them.

In all seriousness, we can only hope that Kanye’s latest date of August 22nd holds, as what we have heard from Donda is sounding quite promising. In fact, some are already predicting that the project will be his best in years, and many fans are rooting for the hip-hop legend to bounce back with a vengeance. Only time will tell — do you think Kanye’s Donda is coming in August?

Courtney Kemp Secures Eight-Figure Overall Deal With Netflix: Report

Power creator Courtney Kemp has a huge new bag on the way, courtesy of Netflix. According to Complex, the television writer and producer has reportedly signed a four-year overall deal with the streaming giant that is estimated to be worth eight-figures.

Kemp’s deal follows Netflix’s $100 million deal with Shonda Rhimes in 2017 as well as its $300 million and $100 million deals with Ryan Murphy and Kenya Barris in 2018, respectively. According to Complex, the Power creator’s deal will entail creating and developing new projects targeted to a worldwide audience, and depending on the success of these endeavors, her earnings could be elevated into the nine-figure range.

Commenting on her lucrative new deal with Netflix, Courtney Kemp reportedly said the following in a statement: “I am incredibly excited to join the Netflix family, and to continue to develop the kind of entertainment that End of Episode is known for — diverse, multilingual, watercooler, social-media fueled series that pack a serious punch. I am looking forward to working with Bela (Bajaria, head of Global TV at Netflix) and her team, who really appreciate the voice and perspective that we bring to the table.”

For fans who are worried that Kemp’s new deal will disrupt the continuously expanding Power universe, fret not because Complex reports that she will continue to serve as an executive producer for all of the original show’s spinoffs. Kemp also discussed her loyalty to the Power squad in a recent post to Instagram, saying, “And don’t worry #powerfans, I’ll be keeping an eye on the #powerverse too!.”

Congratulations to Courtney Kemp on this mega overall deal with Netflix. Do you think that her future projects with Netflix will be able to stack up against her renowned work with STARZ and the Power universe?

Deshaun Watson Lashes Out At Reporters For Always Filming Him

Deshaun Watson has been one of the biggest stories of the offseason as he continues to battle 22 sexual assault lawsuits. Various massage therapists throughout Houston are accusing Watson of sexual misconduct during various massage sessions. Watson was reportedly overtly sexual despite these women’s wishes, and now, they are looking to find justice. Despite all of this, Watson continues to be a member of the Houston Texans, and he is currently at training camp.

Watson wants to be traded from the Texans, and there are various teams who are interested. As a result, the cameras are always on Watson as reporters look to get the latest scoop on what the Texans star is up to.

As one can imagine, Watson has no interest in talking to the media, and when it comes to the cameramen, he has simply had enough. In a new video from TMZ, Watson can be heard shouting “Why are y’all always filming me every day?? It’s the same shit” while walking out of practice. There were various cameras watching Watson on the sideline, which prompted him to engage in the outburst.

At this point, Watson’s status for the upcoming season remains up in the air, and if he stays in Houston, there could be some issues coming down the pipeline. The Texans have unlisted him as the starting QB, and it seems evident they want him gone sooner rather than later.

Brockhampton’s Kevin Abstract Solicits Beats From Fans For The Band’s Final Album

The best television season finales always find ways to acknowledge the patience and dedication of their fans. So it is with musicians and their swan songs. Although the members of Brockhampton aren’t technically retiring — only the group as a whole — the self-professed boy band has found the ultimate nod to give to fans as they prepare their final album.

Kevin Abstract, the group’s de facto RZA figure, recently put out a call on Twitter for fans to send him their beats as a way of not just helping close this chapter of the group’s history, but also open a new chapter for someone else. “trying something different,” he wrote. “wanna give up and coming producers a chance cause we know how hard it gets out here to get ur work off the ground. if you got something you love and you’d love to hear BH on it – send beats for the last Brockhampton album ever.”

The group announced the final project earlier this year while promoting their recently released Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine. Although, they later clarified that they all still “love each other,” it appears many of the band’s members would like to focus on solo material or other creative endeavors. They’ll also still tour in 2022, and they may have one of their previously shelved albums on the slate once they finish clearing samples for it, but for all intents and purposes, this is their last hurrah — and they intend to include their loyal followers, as it should be.

Soulja Boy Confronts A ‘Clout Chaser’ On Instagram Who Accused Him Of Buying Fake Jewelry At The Mall

Soulja Boy and Instagram just do not mix and never have, but that didn’t stop the “Make It Clap” rapper from hopping on a Live video call with a user who accused him of buying fake mall jewelry to defend himself. On Wednesday, the man posted a video of Soulja Boy and his entourage apparently standing around a kiosk at Las Vegas’ Fashion Show Mall. “Soulja you dead wrong,” he captioned. “First Rapper To Get Caught Buyin Jewelry In The Middle Of The Mall.”

However, Soulja caught wind of the clip and logged into his own Instagram Live to deny the accusations, leading to a video call between the two men that degenerated quickly into a shouting match during which Soulja challenges the man’s street credibility and insists that the jewelry he purchased was real. “Walk in that same jewelry store that you just left in the mall and try to buy the Cartier,” he sneered. “That mothaf*cka $35,000. The Rollie $30,000. Everything over there real. They sell real ice in the mall, clout chasin’ ass pussy ass.”

Soulja Boy’s trash-talking ways have led to some pretty entertaining moments in the past such as his back-and-forth with Bow Wow in the lead-up to their Verzuz battle last month, but this is one case in which he could have left things well enough alone.

Lupe Fiasco Has Made His “Illmatic”

Some call it their magnum opus. Others call it their Citizen Kane. For Lupe Fiasco, Illmatic represents the highest echelon of artistic quality.

Today, Lu excited his loyal fans with a promising declaration. Indeed, he has officially wrapped up his own Illmatic. At least, that’s what he believes, vowing that his statement is far from “cap” as can be. “I’m not exaggerating at all either,” he adds, facing claims that he was, in fact, exaggerating. A further clarification: “Correction: me and @Soundtrakk‘s Illmatic…” writes Lupe, confirming that producer Soundtrakk would be helming the album in its entirety.

For those wondering as to whether or not Lupe managed to complete his album in his self-appointed twenty-four-hour timeframe, Lupe admits that the deadline got the better of him — but not by much. “Did some CRAZY damage but the deadline got the best of me,” he wrote, following the twenty-fourth hour. “Learned a LOT…a veritable roller coaster of high-level athletic intellectualism…”

It turns out that the twenty-four-hour time frame led to five songs, or half of the intended ten-song album. After a well-deserved day off, Lupe returned to wrap up the second half…and hear we stand. A man has told us he crafted his Illmatic. A man who happens to be one of the game’s most intellectually stimulating lyricists, who also happens to be in the middle of a creative high.

Oh, and there’s also set to be another “Mural” track. While we don’t exactly have any information about the release date, don’t be surprised to see Lupe drop this one off with little fanfare, as has been his modus operandi of late. Check out his album-centric tweets below, and stay tuned for more information on Lu and Soundtrakk’s Illmatic as it surfaces.

Rae Sremmurd & Kodak Black Struck Gold With The Woozy Party Anthem “Real Chill”

Five years ago today, on August 12, 2016, Rae Sremmurd unleashed their second studio album Sremmlife 2. Boasting some of their biggest hits to date — including “Black Beatles,” “By Chance,” “Look Alive,” and “Swang” — the brotherly duo’s second installment in the Sremmlife trilogy was one of their most raucous works to date.

A record that saw its true potential during live shows or smoke-filled parties, Sremmlife 2 has aged exceptionally well, and much of that can be attributed to the record’s versatility and all-around infectious energy.

On its five-year anniversary, we revisit Sremmlife 2‘s second track, the Kodak Black-assisted “Real Chill.” While the album’s opening track literally found both Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi screaming that it was time to “start a party,” “Real Chill” is when the real party begins on Rae Sremmurd’s expertly crafted sophomore album. With hard-hitting verses from Slim Jxmmi and Kodak Black, Swae Lee’s earwarm of a hook, and woozy production courtesy of 30 Roc & Mike WiLL Made-It, “Real Chill” was a bonafide smash.

Revisit Rae Sremmurd’s energetic second studio album by watching the music video for “-Real Chill” below. Five years later, what’s your favorite track from Sremmlife 2? And where do you think the record ranks in the Rae Sremmurd trilogy?

Quotable Lyrics

I need like 10 mil, I need to put my momma in a big crib
She be tellin’ me “baby boy don’t steal”
I ain’t listen to her cause I still steal
One snap in, I put some racks in my grill
No weapons allowed, I brought my strap in here still
All I smoke is loud yeah, it’s gon’ blast in your ear
Man I’m high as the cloud, I’m on a new atmosphere
Gotta hold my niggas down till they get back here
Don’t come over here ’cause you will get clapped here
