Iggy Azalea Pauses Music Career With “End Of An Era” & Thanks Fans For Remaining Faithful

It is a brand new season for Iggy Azalea as she concludes this portion of her music career. The Australian Rap star has had quite the controversial run as she’s tackled accusations of cultural appropriation, controversial “slave master” lyrics, social media meltdowns regarding her ex Playboi Carti, a break-in at her home back in 2019, and fending off trolls who have attacked her young son, Onyx.

On Friday (August 13), Iggy released End of An Era, an album that the rapper says will be her last for some time as she recently revealed she planned on focusing her energy on other creative endeavors. In an Instagram post just hours ago, Iggy spoke about her latest release while delivering a message to her ride or die fans.

“Today really is the end of an era for me… but also the start of new and exciting things in my life!!! I feel so happy with this project,” she said. “It really embodies me as an artist perfectly. I’ve had the best day reading all the fans of this project relate and see themselves in parts of who iam. Thanks to everyone who’s on this ride with me still.”

“I knowwwww I’m an asshole at times, but I do genuinely appreciate the support and love more than the tough protective armor I wear may allow me to fully express,” Iggy continued. She has spent the better part of 24 hours retweeting fans while also calling out trolls who continue to give her grief.

Blueface Didn’t Know Of Wack 100 & 6ix9ine’s Sit Down Beforehand

He has been making moves outside of his music career and Blueface seems to be getting more serious about boxing. The California rapper recently revealed that he purchased a restaurant and not long ago, he faced off with a TikTok star in the ring. That doesn’t include his work with rapper Chrisean Rock, his artist that he has been developing since last year, and as he continues to diversify his portfolio, Blueface wants the public to take him seriously on all fronts.

He recently sat down with HipHopDX where he answered questions about which celebrity figures he believes he could take on in a fight, and of course, the Paul brothers came up during the conversation.

At first, Blueface didn’t know which brother was Logan. “Oh, the big one. I think I could give him a run for his money. I done fought some big dudes,” said the rapper. “I’m like 160 soakin’ wet and I did not lose.” As far as Jake was concerned, he was sure that he could take him on without an issue. Then, Blueface was asked about 50 Cent and recognized that Fif’s size could be a problem, but he believed age could work to his advantage.

Near the end of the clip, Blueface was also asked about his manager, Wack 100, sitting down with Tekashi 6ix9ine on Akademiks’s podcast. Blueface and 6ix9ine have been trading verbal jabs for months as the “Thotiana” hitmaker has made repeated public calls for 6ix9ine to join him in the ring. The outlet wanted to know if Blueface was aware of Wack and 6ix9ine’s meet-up before it occurred.

Uh, no, he didn’t tell me,” Blueface said as he shifted in his chair. He admitted that he saw it online with everyone else. “Yeah, it’s one of his managerial things, I guess. I don’t know. I let him do his thing. He lets me do my thing. Sh*t, we make money.” Blueface was then asked if he would sit down with them.

“F*ck no,” he answered. Check it out below.

Charles Barkley Admits He’s “Not Friends” With Michael Jordan: “[I] Miss Him”

He is not shy about sharing his opinions on just about anything, but his criticisms of Michael Jordan have caused Charles Barkley to lose his friendship with his fellow basketball icon. The pair’s hot and cold relationship has been well documented over the years, and despite being photographed on golf courses and sharing laughs, Barkley took responsibility for why there has been a line drawn in the sand by Jordan.

The NBA legend and sports commentator recently visited Back on the Record with Bob Costas and spoke about his broken relationship with the Chicago Bulls icon.

“We’re not friends. And I take some responsibility for that. I criticized him, he was one of my best friends and I definitely love him and miss him but I, Bob, I have to do my job,” said Barkley. It was a comment about Jordan’s ownership of the Charlotte Hornets that may have rubbed his ex-friend the wrong way this time. “I said, ‘I don’t know if Michael’s ever going to be successful because I don’t know if he can get enough strong people around him.’”

“It was painful to lose him as a friend but when I said it at the time, it was true. Whether I was right or wrong, That’s debatable.” Barkley has long spoken about his fractured friendship with Jordan over the years, including the memorable Oprah Winfrey interview back in 2005 where he stated Jordan has too many “yes-men” in his inner circle. Yet, Barkley always sounds as if he hopes to repair his relationship with Jordan sooner than later.

Lil Pump & His Company Sued By American Express Over $26K Bill: Report

If reports are to be believed, Lil Pump continues to suffer financial woes. Back in June, we reported on the news that the IRS had tacked Lil Pump with a tax lien of over $89K, and now, a new report states that the Florida rapper is being sued by American Express. Pump, real name Gazzy Garcia, is known to flex his riches on social media as he films himself buying jewelry, destroying luxury vehicles, and tossing around cash. However, Radar Online reports that in addition to the tax lien, American Express alleges that the rapper stiffed them on a $26,233.24 bill.

Both Pump and his company Lil Pump Touring LLC have reportedly been named in the lawsuit and the outlet claims they’ve taken a look at court documents for themselves.

In the lawsuit, the credit card company accuses Lil Pump and his company of being in breach of contract for refusing to pay the outstanding balance. “They claim they loaned the rapper money, but he refused to pay them back. American Express says the bill came due last month but remains unpaid,” RO reports.

The 20-year-old hasn’t publicly addressed this lawsuit, but he did come forward to deny that he owed the government money following reports regarding his tax lien. “Listen, do not believe the internet,” Pump said in a video he uploaded to social media at the time. “That sh*t is all cap bruh. [I have] $90,000 that’s on my wrist right now. Another 90, that’s on my neck. Don’t play with my body.”

“Look, I have made over $15 million, you know what the tax bill on $15 million is?” he added. “B*tch, [$90,000] ain’t sh*t to me.” Radar Online claims that despite Pump’s previous objections, the lien “is still active.”

Bhad Bhabie Claims She Has Enough Money To Retire Right Now

She was 14 years old when she signed to Atlantic Records back in 2017, but Bhad Bhabie is reportedly making a few changes. The social media superstar, real name Danielle Bregoli, is ready to shed the disastrous teen stigma that has plagued her since her appearance on the Dr. Phil show and she is ready to step into adulthood. In an interview with Variety, Bregoli discussed making millions before she was old enough to legally drive, and now that she is 18, her bank account has only increased.

“My main business manager, who’s been with me since I was like 15, when my mom had control of everything, tells me, ‘Everyone thinks that you’re going to blow it, but I think you’re going to do great,’” she said. “And when I turned 18, I started making so much money when I started doing OnlyFans. And when I say making money, I mean, I could retire right now if I wanted to.”

Bregoli added that she has “parted ways” with Atlantic and told the outlet that the bulk of her finances don’t come from her music career. “I don’t do music ’cause I need money from it,” she said, mentioning that when she was a young teen, she didn’t set her sights on becoming a celebrity.

“I never wanted to be famous. I wasn’t working my ass off all night trying to make a name for myself. I was handed it,” said Bregoli. “And instead of being an embarrassment and a joke for the rest of my life, I became something successful and something that people can choose to look up to for the right reasons — or choose not to. I don’t give a f*ck.”
