Yella Beezy Explains He Was Arrested Over Hand Sanitizer

Days ago, news circulated that Yella Beezy had been arrested. We reported that the Texas rapper was detained on drug and weapons charges, and now that he is out of police custody, Beezy is explaining what happened. According to the rapper, police were desperate to arrest him on bogus charges because when they pulled him over, they searched his vehicle and found a bottle that looked as if it was Lean or drugs. However, Beezy stated that his friend has a hand sanitizer business where he uses medicinal-looking bottles as a gimmick.

The rapper showed off the hand sanitizer and explained that the police weren’t concerned with actually testing what was inside of the bottle before taking him into custody.

“Wen they run test on the Hand Sanitizer the charges gone be dropped,” Yella Beezy wrote in the caption. “Lied again and said the dogs ‘alerted’ on my car – everybody know i don’t smoke!” He called it “BS” because he allegedly attempted to have the officer take a moment to prove that the bottle didn’t have hand sanitizer in it.

“I told the man smell it or put it on your hand and they wouldn’t,” he continued before mentioning the gun charge. “Couldn’t do nothing about the guns Cuzz everything legit but when guns and ‘drugs’ together that’s a case . Even tho it’s hand sanitizer they still charged me until they find out lol … all they had to do was smell it or put some on [shrug emoji] took money , jewelry and phones for what ???? Crazy !”

Monty Williams Reveals Devin Booker Was Injured During NBA Finals

Throughout the NBA Playoffs, Devin Booker was one of the best players on the floor. He was the MVP for the Suns up until the NBA Finals, and there is no doubt that he should be considered as a top-tier player in the NBA. Unfortunately, it became obvious to fans that something was a bit off in the Finals as he struggled to make shots and keep up with the point totals that had come so easy to him in the previous three rounds.

Some chalked it up to nerves while others tried to make the claim that Booker simply wasn’t ready for the bright lights of the NBA Finals. One option that many failed to consider was the idea that Booker could be injured. Now, his head coach Monty Williams is confirming this thesis.

While speaking to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Williams revealed that Booker had problems with his hamstring in Game 3 and that these issues stayed with him throughout the entire series. Williams says it was as if Booker had to play on one leg, which is never good for any athlete. Of course, Game 3 is where things began to unravel for the Suns as they eventually lost four straight games en route to an NBA Finals loss.

Heading into next season, Booker is expected to be ready to go which is good news for a Suns team that has the ability to win a championship within the next few seasons. Not to mention, Booker was at the Olympics, which goes to show just how much he’s recovered.

Nicki Minaj Is Being Sued For Harassment By Her Husband’s 1995 Rape Victim

TMZ reports Jennifer Hough, the victim in Kenneth Petty’s 1995 rape case, is suing Petty and his spouse Nicki Minaj for harassment. She’s filed documents accusing the couple of harassing her to recant her initial testimony despite Petty completing his sentence of 18-54 months in prison. However, when the celebrity couple moved from New York to California after getting married in 2019, Petty apparently failed to register as a sex offender, prompting his arrest in March of 2020.

While federal charges against him were eventually dropped. That hasn’t stopped Minaj and other associates from contacting Hough, asking her to recant her testimony. After declining an offer to fly to LA in exchange for doing so, Hough said she and her family “suffered an onslaught of harassing calls and unsolicited visits.” She had previously detailed the alleged harassment in a Daily Beast profile earlier this year. She said she was forced to relocate multiple times, while the couple continued to offer bribes and send lawyers to her home. Now, she’s suing Nicki Minaj and Petty for intentional infliction of emotional distress, harassment, and witness intimidation.

For their part, Minaj and Petty have continued to vehemently deny her accusations, with Nicki claiming that Petty was “wrongfully accused.”

Bobby Shmurda Signs Management Deal With Roc Nation, Has Movie In The Works

171 days have passed since the Hip-Hop community welcomed Bobby Shmurda as he victoriously emerged from a six-year stint in prison. To some fans’ frustration, the “Hot N*gga” rapper has released hardly any new music within those 171 days. With no “First Day Out” freestyle and just one guest feature on Eladio Carrion’s Spanish smash “TATA” to hold fans over, plenty of skeptics have started to question Bobby Shmurda’s post-prison strategy.

Well, it appears, that Bobby Shmurda has been intentional and well-calculated ever since his release from prison in February, and he has reportedly reorganized his entire team, starting with a management deal with Roc Nation.

According to Complex, Bobby Shmurda has been working extremely closely with the same management team that worked with Meek Mill following his release from prison in 2018, which adds context to Bobby’s appearance at Michael Rubin’s massive 4th of July party. What’s also interesting is that as he works to complete his debut album, Roc Nation has also reportedly been fielding film and documentary deals.

HipHopDX reports that the JAY-Z-led company has been thumbing through offers from various distributors who are interested in producing a feature film or a documentary surrounding Bobby Shmurda’s fan-favorite comeback story.

“He’ll ask questions and not just ask but actually comprehend,” Mike Brinkley, Roc Nation’s senior vice president of artist management said of Bobby Shurda during a recent interview with The New York Times. “Meeting him for the first time, you can’t even fathom what he went through because he doesn’t wear it. He’s like, ‘I’m here to work, what do you need me to do?'”

Do Bobby Shmurda’s strategic moves with Roc Nation’s management team make you more excited about his upcoming music? And are you down for a potential movie about the iconic Brooklyn rapper?

UFC Fighter Jordan Williams Beats Up Car Thief On Video: Watch

If there is one type of person you should never mess with, it is a UFC fighter. Months ago, one guy tried to break into Jon Jones’ house, and it ended with the UFC fighter chasing the man down with a shotgun. After that, it should have become crystal clear that MMA fighters are not to be tried or played with. Well, apparently, someone didn’t get the message as earlier this week, a man tried to steal Jordan Williams’ car.

Williams posted about the incident on his Instagram page, and luckily for all of his fans, he even had some surveillance footage of the whole thing. Typically, these things can go under the radar although this time around, we were blessed with a front-row view to the entire proceedings.

In the clip, you can see how a man crept up on Williams’ car and began to get in. He eventually put the car in reverse although Williams ran out of the store and opened the car door before delivering some knee strikes to the man’s body. From there, the perpetrator got out and ran away which allowed Williams to get his car back.

“I have a push to start and my car won’t go unless the keys are within 5 ft of it and I have them on me always. Needless to say my lesson was learned and I hope so was his,” Williams wrote. “Wish I would of hit him with the trip after the clinch work when I tossed him out of the whip, and finish off with some ground and pound but I’ll settle with getting my car back.”

Williams eventually went on TMZ to talk about the attempted carjacking, and as he noted, it was quite the ordeal. Thankfully, however, everything worked out in his favor.
