Lonr. & Yung Bleu Are Hopeless Romantics On “Read My Mind”

Last year, Lonr. popped onto the music scene with his debut EP, Land Of Nothing Real. The seven-track project featured huge appearances from H.E.R. and 24kGoldn, and according to the enigmatic artist, it was about “love, longing, and desire.

Roughly 16 months later, Lonr. is back with a new Yung Bleu-assisted single titled “Read My Mind,” which continues a months-long collaborative streak this year.

With a runtime of two minutes and 38 seconds, “Ready My Mind” is a short, yet sweet offering from the two artists that’s filled with the spirit of teenage romance. Although his verse isn’t nearly as long as Yung Bleu’s, Lonr.’s catchy hook is what really drives the song, and the repetitive call to “run away” and “lose control” is simplistically endearing.

Watch the cinematic music video for Lonr. and Yung Bleu’s melodic new single below and let us know in the comments if you’re feeling the vibe.

Naomi Osaka Vows To Donate Prize Money To Haiti Relief Efforts

Haiti was devastated by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake yesterday and it has already caused a lot of destruction in the region. Buildings have collapsed and thousands have been reported missing all while hundreds of people have lost their lives. It is a truly tragic natural disaster that has left many feeling hopeless about what to do. When vulnerable nations are struck by such disasters, it can take years of resources to rebuild, and many countries are already offering aid.

Tennis superstar Naomi Osaka is of Haitian descent and recently, she took to Twitter to speak on the horrible event that took place. In fact, Osaka is about to participate in a tournament this week and as she explained, she plans to give Haiti all of her prize money.

“Really hurts to see all the devastation that’s going on in Haiti, and I feel like we really can’t catch a break. I’m about to play a tournament this week and I’ll give all the prize money to relief efforts for Haiti. I know our ancestors blood is strong we’ll keep rising,” Osaka wrote.

This is an incredible gesture on her part and it will certainly go a long way when it comes to relief efforts. The country could use all the help it can get right now, and Osaka’s donation could spark others to do something similar.

Our thoughts are with the people of Haiti during this very difficult time.

Jake Paul & Gervonta Davis Go At Each Other Over Jake’s “Hit List”

Jake Paul will do anything to sell a fight and quite frankly, he’s done a good job at it. Over the last year or so, Paul has won two straight boxing matches against Nate Robinson and Ben Askren. These wins came via knockout and at this point, Jake is looking like a legit boxer. Now, he will get to fight Tyron Woodley on August 29th, and if he wins that match, he could be well on his way to some pretty serious fights against legitimate boxers.

Leading up to the fight, Jake decided to take to social media with a photo of himself at a whiteboard with a bunch of names under the title “Hit List.” On the list were names such as Canelo Alvarez, the Diaz brothers, Conor McGregor, and even Gervonta Davis. Of course, this list represents people he hopes to fight one day.

Davis ended up seeing Paul’s tweet and he wasn’t too happy about it as he wrote “Jake Paul better leave me tf alone…” In typical Paul fashion, he immediately saw Davis’ response and made sure to chime in with some memes that made fun of Davis’ height.

“You’re just mad you’re not tall enough to ride the rides at the amusement park,” Paul replied promptly.

A fight between Paul and Davis is pretty unlikely at this point, however, you can’t help but enjoy the show on social media. Jake has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, and he will continue to do so as his boxing career progresses.

Travis Scott’s Fragment AJ1 Low Attracted Over 3 Million Bot Entries

Travis Scott’s sneaker collabs are some of the most popular in the world right now and there is no doubt that there are a lot of fans out there who would do anything to get their hands on a pair. Every single shoe he drops ends up going for thousands of dollars on the resale market, and Nike’s limited releases have only exacerbated the issue. This past week, Travis dropped off his brand new Air Jordan 1 Low collaboration with Fragment, and as one can expect, the release was quite hectic.

The drop took place on the Nike SNKRS App, and it also went down on Travis Scott’s merch website. When entering the raffle on his website, it was made clear that all bot entries would be banned. Well, according to the Cactus Jack Discord, the bots were in full force and it led to a whole lot of banning.

In the tweet above, you can see that over three million bots were banned throughout the raffle, which is a truly staggering amount. There were plenty of people trying to give themselves the best chance at getting a pair, and there is no doubt that bots were simply not the way to go.

Let us know if you were able to secure a pair for yourself, in the comments section below. As always, keep it locked to HNHH for more updates from the sneaker world.

Lizzo Said Name-Dropping Drake On ‘Rumors’ Was Her Attempt At Flipping The Script

Lizzo’s fans were greeted with an awesome treat this past weekend as the singer released her first song in almost two years. Her newest release found her working beside Cardi B for their first-ever collaboration, “Rumors.” The song came with an elegant video that captured the pair using sarcasm to clown their haters about the unsupported and false claims people make about the artists.

While that was a notable aspect of the song, another one came when Lizzo name-dropped Drake. “Readin’ sh*t on the internet,” she says on the song. “My smoothie cleanse and my diet / No, I ain’t f*ck Drake — yet.”

During a recent interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Lizzo explained what inspired her mention of Drake on the song. “I just thought it would be so funny to say,” she said. “I have a small relationship with him. He’s very cool. I just feel like women, there’s so many times where girls’ names get dropped in songs ’cause they’re fine.”

“Rumors” is presumably the lead single from Lizzo’s upcoming fourth album, which the singer hinted features work from Mark Ronson and Philip Lawrence of Bruno Mars’ songwriting/production team The Smeezingtons. Until then, fans can catch her perform the new track and more during upcoming festival appearances at Bonnaroo and Firefly.

You can watch the full interview between Lizzo and Lowe in the video above.

King Louie Drops Wavy New Summer Track “SMOKIN’ CALI”

King Louie is one of the most respected artists in Chicago and over the last decade, he has been extremely consistent with his music. Fans are always willing and ready to hear his new tracks, and recently, Louie blessed up those avid supporters with a brand new track and music video called “Smokin’ Cali.”

With the summer coming to an end in about a month from now, King Louie decided to take full advantage by dropping an undeniably catchy and wavy song that brings forth those warmer month vibes. Throughout the track, King Louie takes a more laid-back approach as he enjoys the sun all while smoking some weed. It’s one of those tracks you can just relax to and as always, it’s yet another solid effort from a veteran artist.

I do designer drugs I’m not a P

Chet Hanks Stands By His Anti-Vaccine Instagram Rant

Earlier this week, Chet Hanks infuriated a lot of people by posting a video that at first appeared to be a PSA for people to go get vaccinated against COVID-19. However, towards the very end of the video, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s son pulled the rug out from under viewers’ feet and revealed that he was trolling them the entire time.

“Look, I’ve been kinda on the fence about this for a while, that’s why I’ve never spoke on it,” Chet said, attempting to sound as serious as possible in the original video. “But with the amount of people that I know recently that have gotten COVID and with, like, the numbers rising, I think it’s important for me to say, like, I got the vaccine. I think everybody should. I think it’s really important that we all do this just as, like, citizens [and] as Americans. We have to look out for each other.”

Things took a quick turn in the video as he abruptly yelled “Sike, bitch!” and proceeded to say, “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I ain’t never had COVID. You ain’t stickin’ me with that motherfuckin’ needle. It’s the motherfuckin’ flu. Get over it, okay? If you’re sick, stay inside. Why we working around y’all? If you’re in danger, stay your ass inside. I’m tired of wearing a motherfuckin’ mask.”

Needless to say, Chet was hit with backlash following that video, but true to form, the polarizing celebrity doesn’t seem to care about any of it. In a since-deleted follow-up video, Chet Hanks stood by his initial anti-vaccination comments and urged his followers to simply respect his personal decision.

“Just like you have the right to be mad at me ’cause I said I’m not going to get the vaccine, I have the right to not get that shit,” he reiterated. Further along in the video, however, he goes on to contradict himself by mocking people who have already gotten vaccinated, saying, “Let’s be real, 99% of you motherfuckers wouldn’t use a shampoo that’s not FDA approved. But you’re willing to get some experimental, government injection. There’s more evidence of UFOs being real than that vaccine being healthy for you.”

RiFF RAFF And Cash Motivated Shine On New Song “$PUSSY”

RiFF RAFF has always been one of the more eclectic artists in the game. While his style definitely isn’t for everyone, there is no doubt that he is an icon of pop culture who has delivered some interesting tracks over the years. In 2021, RiFF RAFF is still dropping new songs and on Friday, he dropped off his new banger “$PUSSY” which features Cash Motivated, a former football player.

This song is an undeniable party track that has a hard beat alongside some female vocals playing around in the background. From there, RiFF RAFF and Cash Motivated offer up some braggadocios verses that contain solid flows and some humorous lyrics here and there. Overall, it’s a solid effort from both artists and it is certainly worth a listen.

Two queens at my castle and they bout to mud wrestle
I ain’t rich yet I just need my money faster
I ain’t never been in movies, guess I’m a bad actor
