Florida Rapper Nardo Wick Arrested On Concealed Weapon Charges: Report

Officers in Florida are not letting up on their reported investigations into rappers hailing from the Sunshine State. There have been several Florida artists who have run into trouble with the law in recent months including SpotemGottem, 9lokknine, and Hotboii, and yesterday (August 17), a photo surfaced showing rapper Nardo Wick in handcuffs. The rapper has been on the rise and after receiving a co-sign from Lil Durk, he has been working on becoming the next “it” rapper.

There wasn’t much information about the incident shared on social media, but more news about the Florida rapper’s arrest is slowly being revealed online.

In the initial photo, Wick was sitting on the ground handcuffed as several officers were standing around him. It has been shared that Wick was detained by U.S. Marshals and while reports state it was all due to a concealed weapon charge, exact details remain scarce. Wick’s latest Instagram post was on August 6 showing him in a vehicle with a large stack of cash strapped into the passenger seat, but the rapper hasn’t offered any updates about his current circumstance.

A video of Nardo Wick’s arrest shows two people facedown on the ground with their hands behind their backs as officers surrounded them at gunpoint. Documents reportedly state that the charges are connected to an incident that occurred sometime last year. Check out a few posts below.

Laila Ali Incites Ire By Saying COVID “Was Created To Harm Humanity”

Her father is one of the most celebrated sports figures in history and she followed in his footsteps. Laila Ali holds several boxing titles and although she comes from sports royalty and has been in the spotlight most of her life, Ali remains a relatively unproblematic figure in Hollywood. She has surfaced with acting jobs and continues her business partnerships and philanthropic efforts, but on Wednesday (August 18), she kicked up dust by sharing an anti-vaccine stance that caused the public to drag her name through the mud.

We assume that you are quite familiar with the ongoing debate regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, and while it all remains a personal choice, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention is asking for people to continue to at least wear their masks to prevent the further spread of the Delta variant. The anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers are making their opinions known as hospital staff across the U.S. have complained that they no longer have bed spaces for people suffering from ailments unrelated to COVID-19.

In a post, Ali reportedly wrote, “People don’t seem to understand that just [because] some folks don’t wear masks, don’t want the shot, don’t listen to media or live in fear…it doesn’t mean they don’t ‘believe’ the virus is real or think they can’t get it! They know it was created to harm humanity.”

She continued, “They simply choose to build up and trust their own immune system like they have been doing all their life. If they get it, they will deal with it!! It’s a God given choice. I know, this kind of faith is impossible for some to comprehend. But lean not on your own understanding. Before you claim they are ‘putting others in danger,’ you should do your own research to learn that’s actually true. You can’t change anyone but yourself, so YOU DO YOU!”

The post quickly went viral and people were unrelenting in their reactions. Check out the post and read what people had to say below.

Flo Milli Promises A Versatile Debut Album And Offers Important Social Media Advice

It was just last summer that Flo Milli released her debut mixtape, Ho, Why Is You Here?, which propelled the Alabama native to the front lines of hip-hop’s newest class of rappers. She would later perform at the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards before landing a spot in the 2021 XXL Freshman class. Now she’s hard at work on her official debut album, which she gave some insight into during a profile with Clash Magazine.

“This project is different from Ho, Why Is You Here? because of the versatility of it,” she said. “I’ve been trying new things but you guys have got to stay tuned to see!” Aside from being one of rap’s most promising young acts, Flo Milli is also navigating through young adolescence. When asked about finding a balance between career and life, she shared some important advice about the way we use social media.

“My number one piece of advice would be to not compare yourself to others on social media. I know social media is a big thing in our generation and people of my age tend to do that, looking at whether the other person has more success than you do; I would say do not let that stop you. If anything, let that empower you to do better than your peers. A lot of people get discouraged and don’t pursue things because they aren’t good enough. As women we possess the ultimate superpower and create life! Everyone should always stick to their individuality and move at their own pace to the top.

Kevin Abstract And Ryan Beatty Capture The Beauty Of A Cool Summer Night In His Video For ‘Sierra Nights’

It’s been five years since Kevin Abstract dropped a solo album, namely 2016’s Arizona Baby. Following a string of efforts with his Brockhampton collective, it appears that the rapper is preparing another solo project. For now, Abstract has a new song,, “Sierra Nights,” which reunites him with longtime friend and collaborator Ryan Beatty. The track is an ode to the end of summer, and the video follows suit, showing the pair chilling — hanging out at gas stations, in living rooms, and on drives along the Pacific Coast Highway.

“Sierra Nights” is Abstract’s second single of the year following “Slugger,” which he released last month. That track featured contributions from Snot and Slowthai and arrived as a feel-good track, co-produced by Abstract, Al Hug, and Brockhampton’s Romil Hemnani. The new single also comes shortly after the rapper said he is releasing his next solo album
at some point this year.

Both of Abstract’s singles come not too long after Brockhampton released Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine, an album Abstract said would be the group’s second-to-last project together. “We all love each other and we wanna continue making the best music we can,” he wrote on Twitter. “Everybody just getting a lil older and got a lot to say outside of group projects. We’ve dedicated the last ten years of our lives to making music together. This next project we’re just doing what’s rite.”

Chet Hanks Served With Lawsuit While Partying For His Birthday: Report

He was happily celebrating his career moves but Chet Hanks is still facing off with his ex-girlfriend. It was just yesterday (August 17) when we reported that Hanks has signed with Soulja Boy’s SODMG record label. The son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson may be the child of two of Hollywood’s elite actors, in addition to being the sibling of actor Colin Hanks, but Chet is hoping to be the next superstar rapper to top the charts.

His controversial moments have caused him to go viral including his use of Patois and denouncing the COVID-19 vaccine, but according to Radar Online, his ongoing tit-for-tat with hi ex Kiana Parker may land him in court after she sued him for $1 million.

Hanks and Parker have reportedly accused one another of abuse in their prior relationship and after a video of the pair arguing went viral, their ex-romance was being debated by the masses. Radar Online claims that Hanks was recently served with court documents after a process server tracked him down back on August 7 a little after midnight. Hanks was reportedly trying to enjoy himself at Houston’s Bottled Blonde nightclub when he was reportedly approached by the process server after being tracked through his social media posts. He apparently gave away his location on his Instagram Story.

Parker has accused Hanks of being both verbally and physically abusive during their relationship. She claims they began dating sometime in 2019 and moved in with one another at the top of the quarantine in March 2020. Parker states in her lawsuit that Hanks called her a “ghetto Black b*tch” and has chased her with a knife, grabbed her by the arm before twisting it, and destroyed her phone. She alleges that whenever she did try to leave him he would “physically restrain her.”

“Defendant Hanks became aggressive and hostile. As the Plaintiff was lying in bed, Defendant Hanks started verbally abusing and threatening her. He shoved her, threatening her with imminent bodily injury, while stating ‘[I] would not disrespect [him], [he] was in control, [he] would not allow what happened with his mom and dad’s relationship to happen to ours’ and other things,” the lawsuit reportedly reads.

Hanks claims Parker stole money from him but she reportedly denies the allegations.

Parker told RO, “I am glad that he must finally answer for his charges, this has been lingering for too long and I will continue to seek closure, healing, and justice. My life matters so I spoke up.” She was previously granted a temporary restraining order and is reportedly suing Hanks
for “assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.”

Soulja Boy Almost Fights Person In Crowd During Live Show

It is often said that every person needs that one friend who can set them right before making a grave mistake, and Soulja Boy seems to have that person on his team. The Rap icon has been building his SODMG empire for some time and one mistake can cause him to become a social pariah or stand in the way of his partnerships and deals. Fans often egg on artists in attempts to trap them in compromising situations, and a video circulated showing that an audience member tried testing Soulja’s patience during a live show.

In the clip, Soulja looked as if he was just about to start performing his 2008 hit “Donk” when things got a bit heated in the crowd. Soulja looked like he was ready to throw fists, but he was quickly interrupted.

His team on stage tried telling him to calm down but Soulja was ready to jump in. Then, someone grabbed him by the waist and possibly said a few wise words, hopefully, that quickly changed the rapper’s mind. The look on his face alone was enough to cause the moment to go viral as fans speculated as to what was said.

With a career that has lasted nearly 20 years, Soulja Boy would have a lot to lose. Later, the rapper revealed what was said that kept him from squaring up. Check out the viral clip below.
