YG has taken his “Scared Money” single to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The Cali rapper hit the stage with the help of Moneybagg Yo for an intimate performance dominated by a blue hue.
Def Jam Recordings released YG’s “Scared Money” single and video, which features J Cole and Moneybagg Yo, last February. “Scared Money” is the first single off PRAY FOR ME, the rapper’s upcoming sixth studio album.
In the video, YG dons an all-red suit at the top of a Brinks truck, before standing with his mob of robbers. J. Cole joins in on the robbery in all Black before Moneybagg Yo also comes in with the assist. You can check out the new release below.
Wale reveals the music video for his new single “Tiffany Nikes,” from his Folarin II album.
Nicky Diamonds and Paul Rodriguez also appear in the video. Wale pulls up to a sneaker shop in the video before performing the track inside. With each clip, the rapper’s charm virtually leaps off the screen, as the elegant and polished video intercuts vignettes of skateboarding and expensive footwear. He locks into a confident flow accented by creative rhymes and an instantly chantable chorus between vivid trumpets and simmering 808s.

American Idol returned on Sunday night and featured a notable contestant, Aretha Franklin’s 15-year-old granddaughter, Grace Franklin.
The Detroit teen appeared in front of judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan, and sang “Killing Me Softly,” by Lauryn Hill and her late grandma’s classic single “Ain’t No Way.”
“I don’t think I could fully grasp the fact that she was famous worldwide,” Grace said. “Because to me, she was always grandma.”
While she sang her grandmother’s song, Grace stated, “I am my own artist and I have my own voice.” Unfortunately, for Grace, she received two No’s, from Richie and Bryan, the former who stated she was not yet ready.

1TakeJay’s “Her Bad,” featuring Blueface, was the first single from the new mixtape released last month, and which the song’s music video has since accumulated over 500,000 views on YouTube. Blueface and 1TakeJay’s previous collaboration is the Compton recording artist’s biggest song to date in the 2020 hit “Proud of U (Remix),” which has over 16 million views on YouTube.

From his latest album, Hall of Fame 2.0, Polo G teams up with Lil Baby for a fast-paced new music video for their collaboration track called “Don’t Play.” On the track, G and Baby trade adrenaline rush verses about, of course, not being someone to mess around with. “In a Hellcat/ watch me race and drift/ That lil’ boy a problem, don’t play with him,” Polo G spits.
The follow-up to G’s “Heating Up” visual released last month. In the new video, Polo G and Lil Baby live out their Fast & The Furious fantasies, drag racing throughout Los Angeles in the latest Hellcat. Between perfect drifts and high-speed stunts, the two stars are hanging out the windows with a carefree attitude as they currently rip and run through the charts of today’s popular music.
Originally released in June 2021 with a deluxe version last November, Hall of Fame 2.0 is a double-disc, 34-tracks, that includes an all-star cast such as Moneybagg Yo, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and so many more. The multi-hyphenate singer/songwriter performs the song with a full backing band in the new, redesigned version of the tune. Amazon posted a never-before-seen video of Muni Long and her band performing the new version of the song on a downtown LA rooftop to commemorate the track’s release.
Erica Banks, the self-proclaimed “Flow Queen,” has released a new tune called “Slim Waist.” “Slim Waist,” which is accompanied by a twerk-infused video, finds Banks delving deeper into her sensuous side, which she’s been exploring since her viral breakout smash “Buss It.”

Karlae has long been the First Lady of YSL, dropping off hits in “Jimmy Choo” feat. Young Thug and Gunna and also “U Aint Slime Enough” from the Slime Language project. She has also appeared on Slime Language 2 with the rest of the Young Stoner Life crew.
As NPR continues to celebrate Black artists for Black History Month, it is now Patti LaBelle’s turn to take the Tiny Desk (home) concert stage. In her 15-minute set, Patti dressed up her the corner of a concert hall in Austin, Texas with her signature heels and Louis Vuitton trunks.
Backed by a band, LaBelle performed “Something Special (Is Gonna Happen Tonight),” followed by “Love, Need and Want You,” “If Only YOu Knew,” and closing with “Lady Marmalade.”
