79-Year-Old Robert DeNiro Announces His 7th Baby

Congrats to 79-year-old Robert De Niro who has announced he has a newborn baby. Speaking with Brittnee Blair of ET Canada, De Niro dropped the news.

De Niro was asked about his six children in the conversation, when he added, “Seven actually … I just had a baby.”

ET was not able to confirm the mother of the child, but De Niro went on to detail his parenting. “You know, my kids disagree with me at times, and they’re respectful. My daughter, she’s 11, she gives me grief sometimes and I argue with her. I adore her, but, you know. And my youngest now, that’ll be more to come. But, that’s what it is.”

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ Kicks Off Summer Movie Season with $114M Opening Weekend

The summer blockbuster season may just be alright. Kicking off the run of hot films for the warm months of the year is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, continuing Marvel’s Cinematic Universe with an impressive $114 million domestic box office debut.

Guardians bring in the second biggest debut of the year, following Super Mario Bros., which made a $146 million debut last month, according to Variety. Both Mario and Guardians starred Chris Pratt.

Adding to the opening figure for Guardians, was a $168 million across 52 markets, making for a $282 million global debut.

Coming up in movie releases are Fast X (May 19), The Little Mermaid (May 26), and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (May 9).

Universal Pictures Releases Latest Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’

Summer blockbuster season is officially here. Christopher Nolan is ready to dazzle theaters again with the release of Oppenheimer. With the film loaded and set for release, Universal Pictures have released the trailer for the film.

Oppenheimer is created from the book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. The film stars Cillian Murphy as Oppenheimer, along with Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey, Jr., and Florence Pugh.

Oppenheimer releases on July 21.

Chris Pratt Reveals He’s Open to Returning as ‘Starlord’ if Marvel Finds the Right Story

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hits theaters this weekend. The third edition of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series will be the last go for stars Zoe Saldaña and Dave Bautista, but headlining star Chris Pratt says he is down for more work as Starlord.

In conversation with Total Film magazine, Pratt revealed he would keep the run going as long as Marvel sticks to the vision of James Gunn.

“He’s [Gunn] done such a masterful job in the first three films,” Pratt said. “We really found the voice of Peter Quill together and without him, obviously, I would never have had this opportunity. He writes it, he directs it, he dreams up the music, it’s his imagination on screen. So, to continue to tell the story, it would really be important to honor what he’s done in the first three films and to honor what the fans have grown to love about the character and not simply do it because people might show up to pay for it, you know?”

Preparing for the next big installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, director James Gunn went all out – creating over 600 versions of the fim for theaters.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gunn created many versions of the film to fit every type of movie theater configuration.

“It’s definitely the most complex delivery Marvel’s ever done,” Disney’s VP of finishing and stereo Evan Jacobs said. The mutlple versions “give every exhibitor in the United States and in most international territories [the ability to] maximize their screen size for the audience. So wherever you go to see it, you’re gonna see the best version.”

Jamie Foxx’s Family and Friends Ask for Prayers as He Remains Hospitalized

As famed actor/singer Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized after almost a month, his family and close friends are asking the public to keep him in their prayers.

According to a report from TMZ, Foxx remains in the hospital after suffering a “medical emergency” more than three weeks ago, with his inner circle saying that the 55-year-old needs all of the positive energy he can get from well-wishers.

Corrine Foxx, Jaime’s daughter, first announced his hospitalization on April 12, saying that he experienced a “medical complication” but did not specify the nature of the ailment.

“From the Foxx Family. We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” she said in a statement. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”

Corrine added, “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, the Foxx Family.”

Jamie Foxx was in the middle of filming the action-comedy movie Back in Action in Atlanta at the time he was hospitalized.

The forthcoming film, directed by Seth Gordon and also starring Cameron Diaz, Glenn Close, and Kyle Chandler, is set to be released on Netflix in 2024. Due to Jamie Foxx’s absence, TMZ reported a stunt double and body double had been seen filling in for him.

Miguel A. Núñez Jr. Reveals ‘Juwanna Mann 2’ is in Development

Juwanna Mann will make a return to the court. The original film’s star Miguel A. Núñez Jr. revealed he would reprise the role of Jamal Jefferies, and Juwanna Mann 2 is now in development.

Speaking with TMZ, Núñez Jr. brushed off the questions of if the film could survive in this climate to state the movie is in the works. Núñez Jr. said the development was “complicated,” and it was a great deal of work done to get the story in motion.

“Yes, they are gonna do it,” Núñez Jr. said. “We are doing Juwanna Mann 2. Yeah, I can’t give you the details of it, but you’re right, it was complicated because of issues now, and because of the fact that he was exposed. But, I can’t give away the story, we’re working on that right now.”

Actor Tyrin Turner who appeared in the 1998 cult film “Belly,” recently revealed that he tried to sabotage the movie after director Hype Williams gave his role to DMX. Turner sat down with Dub C and CJ Mac and shared he was promised the lead role of Tommy “Buns” Bundy in the film, but Williams changed his mind and gave it to DMX instead. Turner was instead cast as Big Head Rico and feeling angry and disappointed so he revealed he attempted to bring the film down by delivering an intentionally silly performance. 
Ironically, his plan backfired as it had the opposite effect. In the interview, Turner explained that he met Hype Williams and was offered the role of DMX’s character in the movie. However, a few months later, Williams informed Turner that DMX would be taking on the role instead. Feeling irritated and upset, Turner decided to sabotage the movie by playing his character in a ridiculous and over-the-top manner. Despite his intentions, the movie went on to become a cult classic and was a commercial success, raking in $9 million at the box office on a $3 million budget.
Turner’s character, Rico, had a memorable scene where he was sloppily munching on a banana while admitting how he was going to “drop a dime.” Despite Turner’s intentions, this scene became an iconic moment in the movie.
“Belly” was Hype Williams’ directorial debut and starred DMX, Nas, Method Man, and other notable hip hop artists. The movie was released in 1998 and had a successful box office run. A sequel, “Belly 2: Millionaire Boyz Club,” was released in 2006.

Drake and Diddy to Exec Produce French Montana’s Life Story Film ‘FOR KHADIJA,’ Set for Tribeca Festival Premiere

French Montana has announced FOR KHADIJA (For His Mother Khadija), which will have its world premiere on June 16 at the Tribeca Film Festival this year.

The film, which will be directed by Mandon Lovett and executive produced by Aubrey “Drake” Graham and Sean “Diddy” Combs, will highlight the sacrifices made by an immigrant woman who left her native country and took various jobs to support her sons in order to make a better life for her family.

The premiere will provide fans with an inside look into Montana’s life, family, upbringing, immigration process, and obstacles he faced in the music industry. A moderated panel discussion with prominent figures from hip-hop, social justice movements, and popular culture will take place before the premiere. Following the movie, French Montana, Triplets Ghetto Kids, and other distinguished guests will do special performances.

All Robert McCall wanted to do was move to Italy and live a peaceful, retired life. But no, the local mafia had to come and disturb his and the community’s peace. That is the plot of The Equalizer 3, starring Denzel Washington and directed by Antoine Fuqua.

The film is the fifth collaboration between Fuqua and Washington but makes for the reconnection of the Man on Fire star and that film’s co-star Dakota Fanning.
