As we barrel closer to April, festival season truly is just around the corner. Now folks in the Washington DC area have something concrete to look forward to: Today (March 18), Broccoli City announced its 2024 lineup.

The fest, which goes down at Audi Field from July 27 to 28, is led by Megan Thee Stallion, Gunna, and PartyNextDoor. Also on the poster are Lil Yachty, The Concrete Family, Kaytranada, Victoria Monét, Key Glock, Sexyy Red, Teezo Touchdown, Fridayy, Veeze, Amaarae, Jordan Ward, Skilla Baby, Baby Tate, Tyan Trey, and Chlothegod.

Aside from the core music artists, there’s also a set of other experiences to enjoy, like Trapsoul Karaoke hosted by Bryson Tiller, Coco Butter with Uncle Waffles, Test Your Game with Duke Dennis, and more.

As for tickets, there’s a pre-sale live now, which you can access with the code “EATGOOD24.” All-in ticket prices (meaning no addition fees) currently start at $225. More information about tickets is available on the Broccoli City website.

Uproxx’s Wongo Okon was at least year’s fest and he said of the event (in which weather was a factor), “Broccoli City Festival was a hectic weekend, but in the end, it was a satisfying showcase. Strong performances from Asake, Rema, Ice Spice, Brent Faiyaz, Chloe Bailey, Coco Jones, and others made it all worthwhile — especially when the dastardly sun set for the day or was at least covered by clouds. Some improvements are definitely in store for the next edition of the festival, but the highs and lows of Broccoli City shouldn’t deter you from checking out their next showcase, especially if the necessary changes are made.”

Gunna Releases New Track “Prada Dem” Featuring Offset, Drops Visual Shot at Iconic Prada Store

Gunna Releases New Track "Prada Dem" Featuring Offset

Four-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated rap sensation Gunna has unveiled his latest track, “Prada Dem,” featuring Offset, through YSL/300 Entertainment. Directed by Leff, the accompanying visual was prominently filmed at the iconic Broadway Prada store in New York.

Following the success of his chart-topping fourth studio album, a Gift & a Curse, Gunna recently dropped his first single, “Bittersweet,” signaling his return to the music scene. In addition, Gunna has announced The Bittersweet Tour, featuring special guest Flo Milli across all 16 tour dates. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on Saturday, May 4, in Columbus at Schottenstein Center, traversing cities such as Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Houston, and Miami before concluding with a hometown performance in Atlanta at State Farm Arena.

Will Gunna Drop A New Album In 2024?

2023 was an outstanding year for Gunna, who came back from six months of incarceration to have one of the biggest album runs of his career. Gunna was released from jail in December 2022 and immediately went to work, beginning the rollout for his fourth studio album A Gift & A Curse, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and spawned one of the songs of the summer, “FukUMean,” Gunna’s first solo top-10 Hot 100 single. Fans are already wondering about a possible follow-up just a year later.

So, will Gunnna drop a new album in 2024?

With two new singles out — “Bittersweet” and “Prada Dem” featuring Offset — and the Bittersweet Tour set to kick off in May, signs are pointing to “yes.” While Gunna technically didn’t go on a tour for A Gift & A Curse, he did perform two high-profile shows in Los Angeles and New York, so theorietically the Bittersweet tour title may suggest an album of the same name coming out within a similar timeframe — or even as early as April. Offset’s partcipation on “Prada Dem” may also suggest that Gunna’s time in trap rap exile is coming to an end, as even Young Thug’s father has said Gunna “can’t hurt” the YSL founder’s defense against racketeering charges and even seemed to suggest that calling him a “snitch” is inaccurate.

If all this means that Gunna’s speculative 2024 album sees him reunite with other fan favorites and frequent collaborators, it’s only good news.

Gunna And Offset’s ‘Prada Dem’ Video Is An Exquisite Look At The Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous

According to Gunna’s acclaimed album, A Gift And A Curse, notoriety isn’t all it is cracked up to be. However, on his latest single, “Prada Dem,” featuring Offset, he doesn’t mind showing off the perks of popularity.

Gunna has much to prove as the official follow-up to “Bittersweet” and his first significant collaboration since the YSL RICO Trial. Fortunately for him, he’s no stranger to pressure. The pair lean heavily into the signature trap sound made famous in their Atlanta stomping grounds. For the official video, Gunna, Offset, and director Leff grace viewers with an exquisite look at an elegant lifestyle.

To complement the track’s luxury lyrics, the duo embark on an extravagant shopping spree. “I set the trend, I’m a trendsetter / I’m not a rat, still gettin’ cheddar / Audemars wrist, timeless / Certified factory diamonds / I’m the young n**** goin’ diamond / Prince, they call me Your Highness,” raps Gunna.

Never one to be shown up, Offset flexes his expansive fashion knowledge on his guest verse. “Turning up your b*tch, Cinderella / 2024 Margiela / Money in the wall, cartelin’ / Mansion in the hills, mall in it / Cold in a Saint Laurent chinchilla / Million when I walk, I can spend bigger,” raps Offset.

To take a page out of the Migos’ book, sometimes it’s OK to flex for a second when you are handsome and wealthy. With Offset on the road for his first solo headlining tour and Gunna slated to head back out soon, their grand isn’t in vain, as seen by the price tags they frequently pop.

Those shows marked Gunna’s return to the stage after spending much of 2022 in jail, while the Bittersweet Tour will be his first since 2019.

Gunna has announced the dates for his first tour since leaving jail. After securing his release with a plea deal in early 2023, Gunna released a new album, A Gift And A Curse, which helped launch him back into the spotlight. From there, he performed his first two shows in Los Angeles and New York, aided by opener Flo Milli. And now, he and Flo Milli are taking off on a full tour, buoyed by the proof of concept from those two concerts.

How Much Are Tickets For Gunna’s Bittersweet Tour?

Until the tickets go on sale on Friday, February 23, there’s no telling just how much they’ll be, but they are likely to be in line with the prices for the Gift and Curse shows in LA and New York. Those were from around $80 to a couple hundred, not including the VIP tickets. So, you can probably expect to pay about that much for tour tickets, as well. You can find more information at livenation.com. See the tour dates below.
