Despite the fun night, it’s been a bit of a rocky road for Minaj on the Pink Friday 2 World Tour in recent days. While trying to get into Canada for a show in Montreal, she ran into difficulties getting through the border. She ended up being three hours late for the concert and thanked Drake for helping her make it at all. “Drizzy he made a couple calls for me,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. She brought out Drake during her performance in Toronto.

Sukihana Brings Out OJ Da Juiceman At Rolling Loud Shortly After He War Released From Police Custody

Over the weekend, Rolling Loud Los Angeles took place and some of the biggest names in rap gathered in California. Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Future, and Metro Boomin served as the headliners. As you’d expect there were guests abound. During West’s listening party Freddie Gibbs, YG, Rich Homie Quan, Quavo, and more joined him on stage. Later in the festival YG was joined by Saweetie during his set. Sexyy Red performed her own set before appearing during Chief Keef’s Sunday slot. And Future closed the festival by debuting new material he has with Playboi Carti and Travis Scott. But one of the guests receiving quite a bit of attention came out during Sukihana’s set.

The provocative rapper and social media figure took the stage on Sunday. The packed crowd in attendance for her performance got something they weren’t expecting when she brought out a special guest. The special guest she delivered was OJ Da Juiceman. It was particularly surprising that he appeared as the rapper was only very recently released from police custody. He was arrested in Georgia earlier this month after a brief chase with police. Following a search of his car he was hit with drug and gun charges. Due to his recent release his Rolling Loud appearance came as even more of a surprise than most special guests. Check out the clip of him on stage below.

Fat Joe Joins 50 Cent Onstage At Brooklyn Performance

50 Cent stopped at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on his “Final Lap” tour earlier this week, surprising audience members with a very special guest. He brought out fellow New York legend Fat Joe, who performed “Lean Back” and “All The Way Up.” By the sounds of things, fans were extremely excited to see the duo together. Famously, they had a heated feud that lasted years, and finally put their beef to rest in 2012 following Chris Lighty’s passing.

Fat Joe wasn’t the only surprise guest he brought out at his Brooklyn performance. During the show, he also welcomed Young M.A. to the stage, who went on to perform “Ooouuu!” 50 Cent will continue to make several stops around the U.S. and Canada before moving on to the international leg of “The Final Lap” tour. He has notable performances scheduled in LA, Chicago, Seattle, and more before heading to the Netherlands at the end of September.

50 Cent Brings Out Fat Joe

In an interview with Cam Capone News last month, Fat Joe dished on his previous beef with Fif, revealing that he was pretty shocked he had the courage to diss him. Apparently, 50 Cent went after him due to his association with Ja Rule. “It was so brilliant because it was the shock and awe effect,” he explained. “I had the persona of New York Suge Knight. Like, y’know, people feared Fat Joe and the Terror Squad in that way, y’know? So for [50 Cent] talking about Fat Joe in the same city … the funeral homes was making bids.”

Later in the interview the artist also revealed that his beef with 50 Cent actually ended up teaching him a few things. “I had to learn how to not be impulsive,” he shared. He added that social media was new to him at the time, and amid the drama he was able to learn how to navigate it. “It’s not for real real street guys. We just don’t know how to react on there,” he explained.

Macklemore Agrees He & Eminem Are “Guests” In Hip-Hop

Macklemore says that he and Eminem are “guests” in hip-hop. When Nate Burleson prompted him with the idea during an interview on CBS Mornings, while asking Macklemore about being a White rapper in a predominantly Black genre, he agreed. He added that no matter how “great Eminem is,” even he is also a guest.

“I think it’s true. It is true and I agreed,” he stated. “If you look at the origin of where hip-hop came from and what was happening in New York City and what was happening in the Bronx. And the way that Black people and people of color been treated historically from the jump, this music was birth out of oppression.”

While continuing, he clarified that the two rappers still “belong here,” they just need to be respectful and abide by house rules. “Hip-Hop is inclusive so there’s always been an open door to a certain extent…but I’m a guest, Em’s [Eminem] a guest,” he continued. “Doesn’t matter how good we get. Doesn’t matter how great Eminem is. We’re guests in the culture. A hundred percent. And that’s not to say that I don’t belong here. I absolutely belong here. But you still have to realize this is not your house. And that you’re a guest. Take Your shoes off and help with some dishes.”

Even Eminem has admitted to being a guest in the genre. Appearing on KXNG Crooked’s show Crook’s Corner, he explained why he never refers to himself as the “king.” “That’s the funny thing. I don’t know if I got a chance to say this yet. The funny s**t is, with the whole beef of a certain person, I never said I wasn’t a guest. I’m absolutely a guest. I never said I wasn’t. I never said I was king of anything, right?” The comments seemingly came in response to criticism from Lord Jamar.
