Rick Ross Is Gifting $300,000 In Gold & Diamond Chains At His Car Show

Few extracurricular events in the hip-hop world have gotten as much attention and hype as Rick Ross’ upcoming car show. Is a lot of that conversation due to his feud with fellow car show host DJ Envy, as they’ve sent each other shots back and forth? Well, yes, but well before that, Rozay made it clear that he would put on an opulent and lavish event for his community. In fact, he made that all the more clear with his latest Instagram promotion, where he revealed over $300,000 in gold and diamond chains as prizes for the event’s winners. Moreover, categories include “Best Car,” “Best Bike,” “Hustler Of The Year,” and many more.

Fortunately for the Promise Land’s host, previous obstacles that could’ve prevented the celebration from taking place resolved themselves shortly after they came up. For example, local officials originally did not give Rick Ross an official permit to be able to host the car show. However, earlier this week, the Biggest Boss confirmed that they gave him the all-clear on his Instagram page. As such, now the stage is set for his event to thrive, and the battleground with him and DJ Envy on each side has a clear view between them.

Rick Ross Shows Off His Car Show Prizes: Over $300,000 In Chains

However, there are plenty of people out there who think that beef has gone too far, including Fat Joe. “Don’t like what’s going on with Rick Ross and DJ Envy,” the New York rap icon said in an IG video. “Don’t like it. I love ’em both. Beautiful men in their own right, successful, do their thing. I don’t like where it’s going. I know I’ve had my share of beefing with people, but I don’t like it because they’re both beautiful, beautiful people.”

Meanwhile, this weekend will see the first stage of this “showdown,” with Envy’s show in Memphis (in benefit of Young Dolph’s family) taking place on Sunday, May 28. On the other hand, the MMG mogul will host his event at his Promise Land estate in Fayetteville, Georgia on Saturday, June 3. If one of those chains catches your eye, or what DJ Envy is offering, then you better find yourself a nice whip soon. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on DJ Envy, Rick Ross, and their car shows.

Gunna’s Team Hands Out $100K In Gift Cards After Christmas Giveaway Cancelled

Shortly after Gunna copped an Alford plea, Walmart abruptly canceled the 5th Annual Gunna’s Great Giveaway. At this time, 1,000 families sign up for assistance from Gunna in partnership with Goodr.

“Gunna and the entire Goodr team were looking forward to brightening the holidays of the 1,000 families that registered. We are aware of how much the promised gifts meant to those families and we are collectively working to find an alternate solution. Registered families will be updated about the event’s status. Goodr apologizes for any inconvenience this unexpected turn of events has caused.”

Gunna didn’t allow Walmart to prevent his annual giveaway from going down, especially on the 5th year. The rapper and his team handed out $100K in gift cards to the families involved with the Gunna’s Great Giveaway. Jasmine Crowe, Goodr’s founder and CEO, issued a statement surrounding the event.

“… I wanted to inform you that we contacted all 1,000 families this week. Working with the City Of South Fulton, every family received their gift cards and gifts today. It’s important to note this event is in its 5th year. Since 2018, we have worked with Gunna to host his $100K Christmas Giveaway — this was not a first-time event,” Crowe wrote. She added that many families contacted her about the significance of the giveaway.

“It was essential to Gunna, his Great Giveaway Family Foundation, and Goodr to make sure that families received the assistance promised to them no matter what,” the message read.

We haven’t heard anything from Gunna since his release. However, it appears that he’s already back in the studio cooking up new music. At the same time, he continues to face backlash for admitting that YSL is a gang in court. It’s unclear what he has in store for 2023 but it looks like he’s trying to regain the momentum he had when DS4Ever dropped.

“Bag” is the follow-up to Col3trane’s 2021 track “Californication.” Both songs are expected to live on his debut album Lush Life.

“‘Bag’ is about giving everything you can to someone,” the rising singer unveiled. “Material and emotional, and it still is not enough. I wrote this song with Lucky and Camper on Lucky’s birthday around October 2020. I sat on it for a while, made a lot of different versions and ended up going back in on it with Camper about a year later. He laid all the keys and bells pads in about 3 hours, solos and all. Bridge included. Watching him do that was crazy.”
