Devin McCourty & Rob Gronkowski Predict Tom Brady’s Future Team

New England Patriots veteran safety Devin McCourty shared his prediction on where his former teammate Tom Brady will be playing next season, Sunday. Appearing on NFL GameDay, McCourty explained that he sees the legendary quarterback leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

At first, McCourty called for Brady to return to New England, joking that he’d come back too if he did.

“He’s going to keep playing,” McCourty went on to say. “I think a team like the Titans. He has (Mike) Vrabel down there, a guy he played with. Not too far from his family being on the East Coast. Different than going all the way out to Vegas. I know Josh McDaniels is there.”

He continued: “But you go to Tennessee, great running back, good defense, they’ll get some more weapons in there to throw the ball to. I could see Tom right there continuing his great career.”

McCourty isn’t the only one of Brady’s former teammates to address his future. Rob Gronkowski also shared a prediction on the quarterback’s future.

“Whatever opportunity makes him the most excited to play the game of football, that’s where he will be next year,” Gronk said on Fox.

“He can still play the game,” Gronkowski said. “He’s getting some treatment on his arm as we speak, so he’s going to be ready to go next year.”

He also said that if Brady does retire, they’re ready to welcome him to the broadcasting team at Fox.

Mahomes suffered the injury to his ankle late in the first quarter after being tackled awkwardly. He stayed in the game to finish the drive, but Chad Henne later replaced him. Mahomes eventually returned in the second half but was noticeably playing hurt.

After the game, Mahomes told reporters: “It feels better than I thought it was going to be now. Obviously, I have a lot of adrenaline going right now, so we’ll see how it feels. But I’ll hop right in the treatment and try to do whatever I can to be as close to 100% by next week. Luckily for us, we played the early game on Saturday, so we get an extra almost half a day that I can let that ankle rest.”

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid added: “Let’s just see how it goes here the next couple days. It’s going to be sore, I know, but let’s see where he is at. He’s had this before, and he was able to keep pushing through.”

The Chiefs will be taking on the Bengals on Sunday, January 29, at 6:30 PM.

Damar Hamlin Attends Bills-Bengals Playoff Matchup

Damar Hamlin attended the Buffalo Bills’ divisional playoff matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The safety, who went into cardiac arrest on the field during the team’s Week 17 game, was at Highmark Stadium alongside his family.

On Wednesday, Bills coach Sean McDermott said that Hamlin has visited the team’s facility “almost daily” since his injury three weeks ago. However, he’s not yet participating in team meetings and is instead taking it “one step, one baby step at a time.”

“It’s what he needs and how we can help him and how our training staff can help serve him and we can serve him, and as anyone would do, we’re just trying to be there for him and walk at his pace, so to speak, play on words,” McDermott said. “But we’re just there for him and want the best for him right now. So it’s been good having him around when he’s been around there.”

Josh Allen added of seeing Hamlin at the time: “A few hugs here and there; everybody’s chomping at the bit to talk to him and don’t want to overload him with too much right now. But it’s been good to see him, you know, the smile on his face, and guys love having him back in the building.”

After suffering cardiac arrest on January 2, Hamlin remained in the hospital until January 11.

Stephen A. Smith Hits Dak Prescott With A Huge Challenge

Stephen A. Smith is someone who has always sought to humble the Dallas Cowboys. Even when the team is playing some of its best football, you can count on Stephen A. to rain on their parade. However, he does make sure to give them props when they deserve them.

Overall, the Cowboys have yet to really make a splash in the postseason since the arrival of Dak Prescott. They have never gotten past the Division Round, and at this point, fans are starting to grow impatient. This is especially true now that the Cowboys have the San Francisco 49ers in front of them.

Stephen A. Speaks

Today on First Take, Stephen A. spoke about the Cowboys and Dak Prescott in particular. During the segment, he claimed that Prescott has immense pressure heading into the match against the 49ers. Below, you will see what he means by this, while also challenging Prescott to rise to the occasion.

“I have been told that the San Francisco 49ers are on a significantly higher level than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,” Smith said. “The challenge that Dak Prescott faced Monday night is nothing compared to what he’s going to face this weekend. If he fails, it will remind us that there are levels to this and Dak Prescott just ain’t on it as of yet.”

The 49ers have had one of the best defenses in football, all season long. However, the Cowboys also have an amazing defensive unit, which means there is a good chance that they can win the game. Not to mention, 49ers rookie QB Brock Purdy has made some mistakes, and if the Cowboys capitalize on this, we could see an upset.

Stefon Diggs Delivers Hilarious Reaction To Dana White’s Power Slap League

Stefon Diggs is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. This weekend, he is going to have a huge task ahead of him as his Buffalo Bills look to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals. The winner of this game will play in the AFC Championship game against either the Chiefs or Jaguars.

Overall, Diggs is looking to have a massive impact on the game. Given his skills, he has the power to help give his team the win. However, it is never going to be easy against a team like the Bengals. After all, his opponent Joe Burrow is a beast on the field.

Stefon Diggs Kicks Back And Relaxes

Ahead of this game, Stefon Diggs has been spending some time at home where he can just relax and get tuned in. As it turns out, he was watching some TV on Wednesday night, and stumbled upon the premiere of Dana White’s Power Slap league.

For those who don’t know, Power Slap capitalizes on the growing sport of slap boxing. It can be a pretty brutal sport, and Diggs found that out while watching. In the video clip below, Diggs offered some hilarious commentary while watching some matches. Overall, he was mesmerized by the sport, and it seems as though Power Slap has a new fan.

Diggs was not the only one on social media who had something to say about Power Slap. There were plenty of hilarious reactions to the new league. However, there were certainly some detractors out there who feel like this is just going to give people brain damage.

Skip Bayless Reveals His Pick For Best Quarterback In The NFL

Skip Bayless is a man who is known for his controversial opinions. In fact, the more he says crazy things, the more people pay attention to him. Overall, he is a performance artist of sorts. He knows his role and he is constantly playing it, even when he is off the air.

Sure, this persona has gotten him into a lot of trouble. However, he always seems to come out of his controversies unscathed. For some, this is completely unfair. Unfortunately, that’s just how the media game works these days. As the saying goes, people love to watch a trainwreck.

Skip Bayless Speaks

When it comes to NFL quarterbacks, Bayless has always held the opinion that Tom Brady is the best in the league. Now, however, Brady is on his way out and younger players are beginning to take over. One such star is Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Ever since bursting onto the scene, Bayless has been in love with Burrow. After all, the kid carried the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance in just his second year with the team. Bayless believes he is the new Brady, and on today’s show, he declared Burrow as “the best quarterback in the National Football League.”

There are plenty of people out there who would agree with this take. After all, Burrow has been phenomenal and he has taken advantage of the fact that he has some incredible weapons at his disposal. However, he will find it difficult this weekend as he takes on Josh Allen, who is also considered to be one of the best in the league.

Let us know whether or not you agree with Skip’s take, in the comments down below. Additionally, keep it locked to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

Shannon Sharpe Offers Sobering Dak Prescott Prediction

Shannon Sharpe sits across from Skip Bayless every weekday morning. Overall, he and Skip have some great chemistry, even when they appear to be fighting. Sharpe certainly makes the show entertaining, and his anti-Cowboys rhetoric always seems to annoy Bayless.

On Monday night, Sharpe had to watch the Cowboys systematically destroy the Buccaneers. Dak Prescott led his team to a 31-14 victory that Cowboys fans are still talking about. Now, however, the road becomes a lot tougher as they will face the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round.

Shannon Sharpe Hot Take

Today, Sharpe and Bayless got to discuss the Cowboys and their chances heading into Sunday’s game. As you can imagine, Bayless had a positive outlook of how things will go. Although, Sharpe was very quick to set him straight, especially as it pertains to Dak Prescott.

“I’ve seen enough and know who Dak is, he’s a rollercoaster. I don’t expect to see what he did in Tampa on Monday,” Sharpe said. Needless to say, Sharpe doesn’t seem to have much confidence that Dak can lead his team over one of the best defenses in football.

Bayless’ positive outlook included the tweet below, in which he said “The Dak I saw in Tampa suddenly had complete command of that position like I haven’t seen before. I believe he’ll carry the momentum over and play a clean and commanding game.”

Bayless sure does love his Cowboys, and he always seems to be lying to himself about how well they will play. If fans remember, the Cowboys lost to the 49ers last season and that’s when they were favored. Now that they are underdogs, their chances are even worse.

Rob Gronkowski Rips Aaron Rodgers For MVP Take

Rob Gronkowski has been making a ton of media appearances as of late. During these appearances, he has mostly talked about coming back to the NFL. Overall, he seems to be quite bored at home and just wants to get back on the field with a new team.

Additionally, he has stated that he would love to play with Josh Allen. He is from Buffalo, so playing for the Bills would be ideal. They even offered him a deal this season, however, he ultimately turned it down. Perhaps next season, he will finally bite.

Now, Gronk seems focused on something Aaron Rodgers said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. Rodgers claimed he has another MVP in him, and that he will likely play next season.

“Do I still think I can play? Of course. Of course,” Rodgers said. “Can I play at a high level? Yeah. The highest. I think I can win MVP again in the right situation. Right situation, is that Green Bay or is that somewhere else? I’m not sure, but I don’t think you should shut down any opportunity.”

Rob Gronkowski Reacts

Gronk took issue with these comments and made that clear on Up & Adams. In the clip down below, Gronkowski notes that Rodgers shouldn’t be focused on MVPs. Instead, he should want to win another Super Bowl.

“I’m totally fine with everything he said except for one major part — and that’s the ‘MVP again,’” Gronkowski said. “Bro, why are you thinking MVP? Don’t you want Super Bowls?”

Gronkowski certainly makes a good point here. Over the last few years, it has seemed as though Rodgers has been more focused on personal achievements rather than team ones.

Former NFL Star Jerrell Powe Arrested For Kidnapping

The internet has been buzzing this week with news regarding sports stars’ controversies, and Jerrell Powe was an unlikely addition. The former NFL star played for Ole Miss before being drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs. He would move on to the Houston Texans and also played for the Washington Commanders before being released in 2015. Powe officially retired in 2017.

He has kept a low profile over the years without returning to the spotlight. However, several news outlets reported Powe was arrested in Mississippi in connection to a kidnapping.

NBC News reports Powe was arrested alongside an alleged accomplice, 35-year-old Gavin Bates. It was further said that at least one arrest was at a Chase Bank.

Details regarding this case are unclear, but it was stated that a victim, a man, told police he was kidnapped “against his will.” The man also reportedly shared with officers that he was being “forced to withdraw money” from the bank.

Powe nor his alleged accomplice have issued statements about the allegations. It’s stated the former footballer remains in police custody at the time of this publication. The investigation is ongoing, but the alleged victim is safe, said authorities.

Meanwhile, Powe isn’t the only NFLer to make headlines. Antonio Brown also comes under fire after sharing sexually explicit images on Snapchat. He has reportedly been suspended from the platform. The mother of his children, Chelsie Kyriss, has also spoken out against the images.

Antonio Brown Appears Unbothered On Social Media Amid Snapchat Controversy

Antonio Brown is being hit with serious accusations of revenge porn right now. This comes after a recent Snapchat story in which he posted a picture of himself receiving oral sex from the mother of his children. In fact, Chelsie Kyriss has already issued a strong response to AB’s actions.

“I have reported his page and all pictures,” Kyriss said. “Unfortunately Snapchat is allowing him to repost. I am very sorry for any of your kids that follow him and used to look at him as a role model. I do not condone these actions as you are aware I have kids involved as well.”

Overall, this is just a terrible look for AB. Additionally, he had his Snapchat account suspended, and he may very well never get it back. Needless to say, reckless actions have consequences, and AB is learning that the hard way right now.

Antonio Brown Tweets Through It

Furthermore, throughout all of this, AB unleashed three tweets onto the timeline. As you can see down below, these tweets don’t speak directly to the situation. Although, they do speak to the idea that Brown thrives off of controversy, whether good or bad.

“Somewhere between psy-chot-ic and i-con-ic,” he wrote. “What more Can I SAY NOW. Don’t play wit me Play Football,” he added.

Fans don’t really know what to make of what Brown is saying here. He has always been pretty ambiguous when it comes to his tweets, and this is yet another instance of that. Hopefully, someone steps in and offers him some much-needed guidance.
