Lil Uzi Vert Receives Poor First Week Sales Projections For “Eternal Atake 2”

In a pretty stacked week for album’s last week, Lil Uzi Vert was right up there with the rest of them with Eternal Atake 2. Outside of Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA, they may have had the most hyped release. That was thanks to the Philadelphia rapper and singer teasing the record strongly for a couple of months. Additionally, having zero lead singles may have helped with that too, as fans were ready for a fully fresh listening experience. However, not too long after its arrival, most of the hip-hop community had an adverse reaction to it.

Some have been labeling it as their worst body of work and others are convinced that the fall off is now real. Uzi albums of recent memory, especially Pink Tape, are no stranger to harsh criticism right off the bat. However, some were noticing a decline with that previously mentioned project, and they feel it’s been fully realized with Eternal Atake 2. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that the current first week sales projections for it are extremely disappointing.

According to HITS DAILY DOUBLE (via HipHopNMore), Uzi is staring at around 60,000 equivalent units in the face. Also shocking is that just 2,500 of that figure are pure sales. Just to put this in perspective, Pink Tape, while still a mediocre record in the eyes of many, still went number one and moved 167,000 just last year. Prior to that, the first Eternal Atake moved a staggering 288,000 copies. So overall, the predictions for this latest album are nowhere near up to snuff. Uzi is still most likely going to land at number three on the Hot 200 chart, but it’s still a steep decline nevertheless. Tyler, The Creator is projected to go number one in back-to-back weeks with around 150,000 units.

What are your thoughts on Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake 2 sales projections? Is the Philadelphia rapper falling off, why or why not? Did you enjoy the record? If so, where does it rank amongst the rest of their catalog? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Tyler, The Creator’s “Chromakopia” Receives Highly Impressive Chart Projections Despite Odd Release Date

Tyler, The Creator is a once-in-a-generation type of artist. Whenever he drops a single or an album, the hip-hop world pauses for the California native. He’s a massively influential talent who inspires his contemporaries with his fashion and musical trends. Without a doubt, he’s easily a face of the genre (whether you like it or not) and he’s not going to let anyone really stop him of doing what he feels is necessary to push the rap boundaries. For example, if he thinks rappers and artists in general should go back to dropping new music at the beginning of the week, he could start that wave again. After hearing Tyler, The Creator’s charting projections for CHROMAKOPIA just moments ago, his competition may just consider it.

He put out his seventh album this morning at 6 a.m. local time and in just that short period, he’s potentially looking at a chart-topping debut. This information comes courtesy of chart data via X. No sales predictions are available just yet though. HITS DAILY DOUBLE will drop their estimate sometime tomorrow morning, so be sure to stay tuned for that update.

Tyler, The Creator Can Drop Whenever And It Still Won’t Affect Sales

With this in mind, some fans are making their own projections. Some are saying he will move around 150,000 and others even claiming 200,000 will be the number. Overall, this a stunning and very spectacular accomplishment (most likely) for Tyler. In terms similar competition for this week, Megan Thee Stallion, G Herbo, Jean Dawson, and Yeat are some of the bigger names to watch out for. Overall, though, things are kind of in Tyler’s favor here if you ask us.

What are your thoughts on Tyler, The Creator being expected to go number one with CHROMAKOPA even with the Monday release date? Is this one of his best or the best record from Tyler? Which tracks are you messing with the most? Who has the strongest guest performance? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Future Has Every Song On “MIXTAPE PLUTO” Chart On The Billboard Hot 100

Right now, it’s Pluto’s world and we’re just living in it. According to the weekly Tuesday Billboard chart update, Future is having quite the first week debut for MIXTAPE PLUTO. His third 2024 project was projected to go number one on the Hot 200 and it did just that thanks to 129,000 equivalent units. With that, the Atlanta legend is the first act to have a trio of albums go number one in a six-month span since The Beatles about 60 years ago.

He’s also now tied for fourth for the most albums to debut at the top with 11. But that isn’t all of the success for MIXTAPE PLUTO, though. If you head on over to the Hot 100 you will see that all 17 tracks from the September 20 release are spread throughout the list. The best performing cut is the intoxicating “TEFLON DON” which is just outside of the top 20 at number 21.

Future Continues To Run The Charts In 2024

The lowest entry is “MADE MY H*E FAINT” at 85. Overall, for this being a solo project, this is highly remarkable. It is especially so when you consider the level of hype for the songs that were supposed to have features. They weren’t smaller artists either. Travis Scott and Gunna are two of the most in-demand rappers right now and even though their contributions were removed pretty last minute, Future still managed to hold his own on them.

What are your thoughts on all 17 tracks from Future’s MIXTAPE PLUTO debut on the Billboard Hot 100? Are you shocked about this, why or why not? What is your overall opinion on his third project of the year? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Future Boasts Great First Week Sales Numbers For “MIXTAPE PLUTO” Chart Debut

It looks like Future’s promising first week sales projections for MIXTAPE PLUTO will manifest. Moreover, HITS Daily Double reports that the project will debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (the catalog’s 11th overall) with a total of 129K album-equivalent units sold. This would mark his third triple-digit debut and chart-topper of the year, as it almost outsold the Metro Boomin collab album WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU and follows the massive success of the first installment, WE DON’T TRUST YOU. This is very impressive for Pluto, albeit well within his powers as a hip-hop giant. We still have yet to receive official word from Billboard, though, so there’s always a chance things could change.

Of course, fans will debate over which of Future’s three 2024 records is better, and all of them are distinct enough to warrant that discussion. You have the grand and star-studded presentation of the first Metro album, the R&B return on the second, and some classic 2010s trap worship on the third. The “TEFLON DON” rapper has some killer tracks on all of them that will rank as some of his best of the decade. Also, his prolific nature means that there will probably be many more highlights to come.

Future’s MIXTAPE PLUTO Is Another Chart-Topper

However, all this doesn’t mean that MIXTAPE PLUTO didn’t come without its disappointments and contentious aspects. Many fans questioned why the teased features for this new Future tape, such as Travis Scott and Gunna, did not make the final tracklist. The latter even seemed to respond to this development, characterizing it as just business and not a personal matter. Still, that wasn’t an explicit reference to the project, so who knows?

All we know is that the production on MIXTAPE PLUTO is entrancing and that Future’s performances are pretty solid for the most part. But don’t take our word for it; let us know what your favorite Hendrix release was this year and your thoughts on the run overall down in the comments section below. Even if you’re not the biggest fan, there’s a huge chance that you won’t be able to escape from many of these 2024 cuts until the year ends.

Eminem’s “The Death Of Slim Shady” First Week Sales Projections Revealed

It seems like no matter what, Eminem manages to pull in a massive wave of listeners. Obviously, though, when you have had as much commercial and critical success as Slim Shady has, it makes sense. He is undoubtedly a top 10 to five rapper of all-time to a lot of fans of the genre and his massive following also backs those rankings. Over this past weekend, the legendary Detroit MC laid out his presumed final body of work as the aforementioned alter ego and it has been quite divisive overall. There are a lot of fans of the record, but there are some that still view him as corny. Even with that, Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady is looking to have a huge first week sales wise.

According to a recent IG post from Our Generation Music, it is projected to move over 300,000 copies. That should almost assuredly be enough for the top spot on the Billboard Hot 200. We say almost because Taylor Swift is still at number one for the 11th straight week with The Tortured Poets Department. Even if Eminem does not manage to dethrone the current queen of pop, it will still be a tremendous accomplishment, especially at this point.

We can safely bet that not many 50 or older rappers are still drawing in this big of an audience. But the reason it will still be impressive is because it will be the biggest debut for any rap album this year. It will overthrow respective records from Metro Boomin and Future, 21 Savage, and Yeat, all of whom are the biggest rappers/producers in the current state of rap. It just goes to show how dominant Eminem still is almost three decades later.

What are your thoughts on the first week sales projections for The Death of Slim Shady by Eminem? Are you surprised that it will be the biggest debut for a rap album this year, why or why not? What songs are you bumping from the album the most so far? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Eminem. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.
