Jay Critch called out DJ Akademiks on Twitter, Sunday, after the media pundit exchanged shots with GloRilla. In doing so, he labeled Akademiks a “p*ssy” and told him he’d see him at Rolling Loud in New York City. Akademiks had fired off a number of insults aimed at GloRilla amid her ongoing beef with Kai Cenat.
In one post, he wrote: “@GloTheofficial And goofy! I got $100k My bitch I’m F*cking look better than u… dont worry bout me.. I been successful.. U a bih… that look like Sid the Sloth from Ice Age.. I wouldn’t even f*ck a hoe a look like u.. I got too much money for that. Go holla at dr Miami.” GloRilla wrote back: “Akademics you or yo hoe can’t whoop me & I’ll put 100k on dat Pooh bear looking ass b*tch you got da right one dis time.”

Later in the day, Critch also responded to Akademiks. “When U gon actually come outside tho p*ssy n***a,” he wrote, before adding, “Akademiks so p*ssy he don’t go to no award shows no powerhouse no rolling louds n***a just hide in the shadows smh fat ass.” From there, Akademiks fired back: “I was at rolling loud last year … n I’ll make it my mission to go next time it’s back in New York. During a recent live stream, Tasha K spoke on her relationship with Nicki Minaj. According to her, she chats with the queen of rap on occasion, and refused to sign an NDA despite Nicki’s requests. She went on to claim that the two of them have discussed Cardi B in the past, who they both have famously had beef with.
While the gossip blogger currently owes Cardi quite a bit of cash in their defamation lawsuit, she still seems to have some sympathy for the “Bongos” performer. According to her, Cardi and Nicki actually have a lot in common, and wishes they would just settle their feud for good. “I want all of this behind me,” she explained. “I’ve said this to Nicki and she didn’t like it. She’ll go through bouts where she’ll talk to me and she won’t talk to me — I don’t care because I’m not starstruck like that; Imma tell you the truth. I said, ‘You and Cardi are the same.’”
Tasha K continued, “They have good traits that make people excited, right? They get their [fans] excited but [the] one who’s experienced is not sharing her wisdom with someone who’s young and up-and-coming. I know that’s hard for her because of how the industry tore her down, but Nicki truly has the tools and the resources to help pull this young lady up, and even if she helped to pull her up, it’s not going to pull Nicki the f*ck down.”

Fans were very worried about the artist, although she eventually revealed that she was fine. Surprisingly, Tasha K reached out to Cardi amid all of this. Sexyy Red says that she wasn’t trying to shade Latto with her recent post about repopularizing ’00s fashion with a True Religion trend. She had reposted a fan’s comment about the topic shortly after Latto shared a photo of herself wearing True Religion at 21 Savage‘s recent birthday party. Addressing the rumors of a feud on Twitter, Sexyy wrote that she’d be more direct if she had an issue with Latto. “Definitely not shading her I’m direct wit it whatever I gotta say,” Sexyy wrote.

Sha Money XL says that he and 50 Cent have no real beef and that the “so-called” feud is just a marketing tacket by the G-Unit leader. He discussed his relationship with 50 Cent during a recent interview with Ray Daniels on The Gauds Show.
“What did I do to you? Did I steal? Did I rob? What did I do?” he said on the podcast. “I got you this money, bro. I was one of those foundational people. So, just say, ‘yo, good look for that, bro. Let’s just let it go.’ You ain’t even gotta say sorry, bro! But let it go. I don’t want to work for you. I might make a good record for you, though.”

Back in June, he reflected on the making of the rapper’s “Back Down” track, revealing that 50 originally intended to diss several more artists including Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, JAY-Z, R. Kelly, Nas, Cam’ron, and others. In the end, he only dissed Ja Rule and Murder Inc. on the song. “That sh*t was blackdown, he was going black on that, blacking out, bro. He continued: “The sh*t he was saying, it was like, ‘Bro, you can’t say that, what you doing? Yo, come on, Nas is still the homie.’ But he wanted to take everybody, man. It was like, ‘You can’t go after the God, bro.’ Everybody’s getting it. Cam, everybody. Back the f*ck down. And that sh*t was well-received, man. LOL Time to Lawyer up, s*** might get sticky.” It was just days later when 50 trolled Diddy over his alleged connection to Duane Keith “Keefe D” Davis, the man who was arrested for allegedly murdering 2Pac. The rapper went on to post a video on Instagram of Keefe D asking Diddy for help: “Brother love? Show some love. It’s all I can f*cking say,” Keefe D said in the clip. “I was on top of the world til’ I met your mother****ing *ss.”

Prior to posting the clip of Keefe D on Instagram, the “Candy Shop” rapper also took shots at Diddy over his sexual orientation during his concert. “That’s why I don’t be going to them Puffy parties,” he said. “N**** hug you from the front and back at the same time? … Look, if you into that, you into that. I’m fine with it. To each his own. I’m just saying, this isn’t my kind of mother****ing party.” 50’s on-stage rant resulted in a mixed reaction from the crowd.
Even before 50 spoke ill of Diddy’s parties, years ago, the iconic rapper had plenty of harsh things to say. In an interview on Drink Champs, 50 said Diddy asked him to go shopping with him but he felt there were other intentions behind it. “’So, yo, when we gonna get a chance to kick it. We could just hang out … Why don’t we like go shopping? … I’ll pay for it,’” Fif recalled Diddy telling him.
Diddy’s Destination To Nowhere
In a 2014 interview with radio station Power 105.1, 50 claimed “Puffy might be the destination for anybody going nowhere. Nobody surviving.” The rapper says he doesn’t get why artists collaborate with him, naming more artists whose careers ended shortly after getting involved with him. “When he came out with the Angels record, I said, ‘Naw, man. That’s wack. You gotta stand next to something.’ And he knew exactly what I meant cause he’s been standing next to something his entire career. He stood next to Biggie …”
“The Bomb”: A Diddy Diss Track
In 2006, the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ rapper released a diss track aimed at Diddy called “The Bomb.” Over the beat from Dead Prez’s “Hip Hop,” 50 delivered scathing bars directed towards Diddy. “Who shot Biggie Smalls?/ We don’t get ’em, they gonna kill us all/ Man, Puffy know who hit that n****/ Man, that n**** soft, he scared them boys from the Westside will break him off/ Dump on his a**, so he run to Harlem shake em off.” Fiddy would also say, “I guess this means I won’t be invited to the white parties in the Hamptons,” before mentioning Ma$e.

In 2010, 50 Cent went to X, formerly Twitter, to create a petition called RIP BIG. The “In Da Club” rapper said he believes that Diddy is making money off BIG’s name. “Enough is enough,” 50 said on X, formerly Twitter. “Biggie’s name should never have become Diddy’s Black Card … When was the last time Diddy really was biggin up his brother, not biggin up his bank?” Fiddy gained a lot of momentum and support for this petition.
Ditching A Diddy-Like Jacket During a Concert
In 2021, 50 was one of the headliners for Rolling Loud New York, holding his stomping grounds in Queens, NYC. Marking his homecoming performance, the rapper performed all his greatest hits to an energetic crowd. After a quick outfit swap, 50 returned to the stage wearing a shiny grey jacket. Just then, 50 realized the jacket made him look like Diddy in the ‘90s when he used to wear shiny suits in his music videos. Fiddy quickly tore the jacket off and threw it into the crowd. “You know why I threw that jacket,” he said, per HipHopDX. “It made me look like Puffy.”

Joe Budden went after his haters during the latest episode of his podcast, this week, explaining why he’s qualified to speak on hip-hop music. The comments come amid his ongoing feud with Drake over his negative response to For All The Dogs.
“This certainty that I speak with, it’s not internet bravado,” Budden began. “It’s not like competence from what’s commented. It’s not fragile. I speak this way because I did it. I lived it, and I’m still here to talk about it… There will never be a space on this earth where there’s a music conversation happening and I’m not qualified to have it. I have done this at every fucking level and am only still here because of my fortitude and my ability to innovate and be at the precipice when counted out at all times. I beg of you, if I’m not qualified to talk music, if I’m not qualified to discuss rap as it drops at a time when nobody is discussing rap as it drops, then who the fuck is?”

As for his feud with Drake, things popped off when Budden argued that For All The Dogs is rap for “children.” “[Drake is] rapping for the children,” he said. “I had to look up how old this n***a was when I finished listening to the album … You gonna be 37 years old. Get the fuck away from some of these younger n****s, and stop fucking these 25-year-olds … Why are you still fucking the 25-year-olds? You’re a 37-year-old billionaire.”

Joe Budden and Drake have been embroiled in a bit of a feud over the past week. Overall, it all stems from the fact that Joe had a harsh critique of Drake’s new album, For All The Dogs. Budden was not happy with Drizzy’s decision to include Kai Cenat in his rollout. Furthermore, he spoke about how Drake is not evolving artistically. Instead, he is making “for kids” and even the women he messes with are pretty young. This led to a lengthy response from Drake, who called Budden washed up and a failure in music.
Of course, the entire hip-hop world has been weighing into this beef. For the most part, people are siding with Joe. They feel as though Drake was not being fair with his criticisms. Moreover, he has already admitted to being a huge Budden fan, so the thesis he wrote felt like a projection. Well, this week, Joe Budden officially fired back on his podcast. Overall, it was a large segment of the podcast, and Budden did a good job of breaking down everything that took place following Drake’s initial response.
Firstly, Joe explained that when he critiques artists, he comes from a place of feeling as if he is one of the best rappers in the world. He has been told by other MCs that he is a master of his domain, and he takes that into consideration when he criticizes other artists. Subsequently, he spoke on how Drake sent him some DMs. At first, he told Budden that maybe some radio play would calm him down. When that didn’t work, Drizzy claimed that Joe was being malicious for mentioning the women he sleeps with. Drake felt like the insinuation that he sleeps with younger women is just unacceptable.
Eventually, Budden played various clips from For All The Dogs in which Drake speaks on being with a woman who is 25. Additionally, he even played a questionable line about a woman being 21. Although, that line could just be a 21 Savage bar. Either way, Budden is adamant that Drake was in the wrong here. In fact, Joe is standing on the fact that this kind of beef has never fazed him.
