Newly revealed alleged text messages tied to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal case for alleged sex trafficking have surfaced, according to an exclusive report by AllHipHop. These messages, reportedly sent by singer Cassie to Combs, were allegedly written following an assault in a Los Angeles hotel room in 2016.

Footage of the alleged incident, which gained attention earlier this year, has added a layer of scrutiny to the case. Cassie’s lawsuit against the music mogul came to light in late 2023 under the Adult Survivors Act. While the lawsuit was swiftly settled, the terms of the settlement remain undisclosed. This development occurred amidst a wave of similar civil suits filed against Combs.

According to disclosures from the federal government, Cassie allegedly sent a text message to Sean “Diddy” Combs after the 2016 hotel incident, expressing the physical and emotional toll of the altercation. “I have a black eye and a fat lip,” she reportedly wrote. “You are sick for thinking it’s OK to do what you’ve done… I still have crazy bruising. […] I turn my head for a second, and you get violent. You drag me down the hall by my hair… I have bleeding cuts. You hit me in the head twice.”

The text continued, reportedly addressing the recurring nature of the abuse, “When you get upset the wrong way, you always want to show me that you have the power, and you knock me around. I’m not a rag doll. I’m someone’s child.”

In early 2024, Sean “Diddy” Combs issued a public apology for his actions against Cassie after CNN released video footage of the 2016 incident. Calling his behavior “inexcusable,” the music mogul emphasized his commitment to therapy and personal growth. While the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office did not pursue charges due to the statute of limitations, the incident remains part of federal prosecutors’ broader allegations against him in a federal case involving alleged sex trafficking.

In other developments, former Bad Boy artist Shyne stirred controversy by claiming he served as the “fall guy” for Diddy in the infamous 1999 nightclub shooting, which resulted in Shyne serving nearly nine years in prison. He alleged that Diddy was the true instigator of the incident, though the claim has been met with skepticism and rebuttals from figures like Funk Flex. While some find credibility in Shyne’s accusations, they remain unproven and should be approached cautiously.

Federal Agencies Launch “Interagency Operation” At Detention Facility Where Diddy Is Held

A host of federal agencies have offered up their investigators to launch an “interagency operation” at the MDC(Metropolitan Detention Center) in Brooklyn yesterday(October 28) as Bad Boy music and fashion mogul Diddy remains in federal custody.

The Bureau of Prisons gave a statement to AP, saying that the operation is “designed to achieve our shared goal of maintaining a safe environment for both our employees and the incarcerated individuals housed at MDC Brooklyn.”

The agencies noted on Monday that there was “no active threat” and that the operation was pre-planned some time ago. The agencies did not give any more information about the operation “in an effort to maintain the safety and security of all personnel inside the facility and the integrity of this operation.”

MDC has a horrific reputation, known for its deplorable living conditions as well as murders and other acts of violence among inmates. Diddy attempted to make bail in order to leave MDC, but a judge ruled against him getting out on bail due to his alleged danger to society and his being a flight risk.

Diddy is not the first high-profile inmate at MDC, the facility where well-known prisoners such as R. Kelly and Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman were held before their trials. Diddy, who was arrested on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering last month, could face life behind bars if convicted on these charges.

Diddy’s Federal Sex Trafficking Case Suddenly Assigned To New Judge

Today(October 3), a notice in the court docket in Diddy’s federal criminal sex trafficking indicated the case was reassigned to Judge Arun Subramanian, who was first nominated by President Joe Biden in 2022 and took the bench in 2023.

Subramanian spent most of his career as a civil litigator of complex disputes at the law firm Susman Godfrey. Before joining Godfrey, he worked as a law clerk for the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Judge Andrew Carter, who denied Diddy bail in his last hearing, will no longer be on the bench during the incarcerated mogul’s criminal case.

There has been no reason confirmed as to why Carter excused himself from the case, but legal analyst Meghann Cuniff said that Judge Carter hinted at finding his replacement in Diddy’s case at his September 18th bail hearing.

“If I can’t try it, I’ll find a colleague who can if you want to set a trial date,” the judge told Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo.

Diddy was arrested for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution in September. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. The Bad Boy mogul, whose real name is Sean Combs, could spend the rest of his life behind bars if convicted.

“For decades, Sean Combs … abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct,” his indictment explained. “To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources and influence of the multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled—creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

Sex Worker In Diddy Federal Racketeering Case Testifies Before Grand Jury

Diddy Partners with DJ Khaled to Announce New 'Diddy Direct' Platform

As if the snowball effect in Diddy’s federal sex trafficking and racketeering case couldn’t get any worse, the Bad Boy mogul could be facing more charges as a grand jury has heard sworn testimony from a sex worker.

According to a report from TMZ, jurors heard statements from another male escort who was allegedly hired by Diddy to be a part of one of his now infamous “freak offs”. The grand jury interrogated the sex worker about his travel and whether or not he crossed state lines. Questions were also asked about payments for sex, specifically whether the man was paid in cash or via wire transfer.

Prosecutors are speaking to more witnesses as they are considering filing more charges in a superseding indictment.

This is the second male sex worker to come forward in this case since Diddy’s arrest earlier this month.

Prosecutors met with a male sex worker last week who gave them video footage from one of the freak offs and signed a proffer agreement, meaning they can offer evidence without being at risk of incriminating themselves. According to the report, the man flew from Atlanta to Miami in May 2023 and had sex with an unnamed woman while Diddy watched and recorded the encounter.

The prosecution claim that these freak offs were not consensual and that Diddy used drugs, violence, threats and blackmail to force women into having sex, while also sending for the male sex workers across state and international lines.

Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo has concedes that all of the sexual encounters were consensual.

“These are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do. We can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was there would be no more people,” he said to reporters.

When asked if Diddy would be taking the stand in his trial, Agnifilo said, “I don’t know that I can keep him off the stand. I think he is very eager to tell his story and I think he will tell every part of his story, including what you see on the video,” the attorney said. “I expect it’s going to be explained by the both of us.”

R. Kelly’s Co-Defendant and Former Business Manager Says He Didn’t Believe Early Sex Abuse Claims

R. Kelly in Court federal child pornography

R. Kelly’s ex-business manager says he didn’t believe claims from decades ago that the singer sexually abused underage girls.

Testifying yesterday in front of a federal jury, Derrel McDavid said he was convinced that the allegations were just part of a plot orchestrated by the singer’s enemies to destroy him.

McDavid admitted to jurors that he had seen the prosecution’s star witness, according to the AP. Referred to by the pseudonym “Jane” at the current trial, when she was a minor hanging around Kelly’s studio in the late 1990s. He said Kelly “angrily denied” any rumors that he was sexually abusing Jane, who Kelly described as his god daughter at the time.

“I believed him,” McDavid testified.

McDavid is on trial alongside Kelly in Chicago.  He is charged with helping the convicted R&B singer foil an earlier 2008 child-pornography trial that resulted in Kelly’s acquittal.

This comes nearly two months after Kelly was given a 30-year sentence in New York City on racketeering and other sex trafficking charges. He has maintained his innocence.
