Diddy wants out federal lockup. His bid for bail has encountered yet another obstacle following his latest court appearance. In other words, the feds aren’t here for it.
Get this, according to a report from The New York Times, federal prosecutors argued against Diddy’s request for bail, asserting that he should not be allowed to leverage his wealth to “pay his way out of detention.” They emphasized that the court had previously rejected such efforts, writing, “The District Court rightly rejected Combs’s effort to pay his way out of detention when the record established that no set of conditions could ensure the safety of the community.”
Diddy’s defense team aggressively countered by claiming there was no evidence that he had tampered with witnesses or interfered with the ongoing investigation. They argued that the prosecution’s stance was “based on speculation, not evidence that he had tried to interfere with the investigation into his conduct.”
Get this, in response, prosecutors highlighted an incident where Diddy allegedly contacted a witness before his arrest. They further alleged that he had used recordings of coerced sexual acts as “collateral” to silence witnesses and prevent them from testifying. “Combs’s longstanding and sophisticated methods of obstructing justice and silencing witnesses more than established his dangerousness,” the prosecution wrote.
As you and the rest of America knows, the charges against Diddy are serious, with federal prosecutors accusing him of operating a “criminal enterprise” involving sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for prostitution.
ICYMI, in an attempt to secure bail, Diddy’s legal team proposed a $50 million bond alongside stringent conditions, including a private security detail, restricted access to phones and the internet, and limited visitation from an approved list of individuals. However, his bail was denied on two separate occasions.
So it looks like a November 4 appeal hearing is scheduled, but Diddy’s lawyers have requested a postponement and plan to submit a new release application to the lower court, citing “certain relevant new information.” Interesting … This new evidence reportedly includes videos of consensual sexual encounters involving Diddy, raising questions about the credibility of claims that some of his former sexual partners now allege coercion years after the fact.
Marc Anthony has officially voiced his support for Kamala Harris in the lead-up to the 2024 Presidential Election.
In a passionate campaign ad released on Friday (October 18), the 56-year-old Puerto Rican music icon endorsed the Vice President while drawing attention to Donald Trump’s actions and remarks concerning Puerto Rico, particularly in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in 2017. He urged Latin voters to remember Trump’s handling of the disaster and his previous derogatory comments about Hispanics.
Check it out his endorsement here, it’s quick, to the point:
“I remember what he did and said about Puerto Rico, about our people,” Marc Anthony stated in the ad. “I remember after Hurricane Maria devastated our island, Trump blocked billions in relief while thousands died. I remember when our families lacked clean water and electricity, Trump threw paper towels and called Puerto Rico ‘dirty and poor.’”
Anthony also referenced the Trump administration’s horrific policy of separating families at the U.S.-Mexico border. “He told us what he’ll do. He’ll separate children from their families, and threaten to use the Army to do it,” Marc emphasized.
The A-list singer concluded by calling the election a moment beyond partisan politics, reminding voters of the core values of the country. “This election goes way beyond political parties. Let’s remember what the United States represents and stands for: UNITED, regardless of where we’re from. I am Marc Anthony and I remember. That’s why I support Kamala Harris for President.”

Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced the three bout preliminary card of the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson and Serrano vs. Taylor 2 mega-event on Friday, November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Headlining the preliminary card will be MVP’s super middleweight powerhouse and the WBO’s #1 contender Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (14-1, 11 KOs) vs. the WBO’s #2 contender Melinda “The Whip” Watpool (7-0, 2 KO) in a 10 round women’s championship fight contested at 168 lbs for the vacant WBO super middleweight world title. Joining Green and Watpool on the preliminary card, top-ranked IBF and WBA contender Lucas “Prince” Bahdi (17-0, 15 KOs) will take on Orlando, Florida’s Corey “2Smoove” Marksman (10-0-1, 7 KOs) in a 10 round lightweight battle of two of boxing’s undefeated contenders as each puts their undefeated record on the line early in their career. Also on the preliminary card will be an 8 round featherweight fight between two standout prospects, Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington Jr. (13-0, 8 KOs) and Australian action fighter Dana “Deadly” Coolwell (13-2, 8 KOs). Paul vs. Tyson and Taylor vs. Serrano 2 will air live globally on Netflix on Friday, November 15 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT and is anticipated to be the biggest boxing event in modern history, and fans can purchase tickets now at seatgeek.com.
Making her second world title fight appearance in the headlining bout of the Paul vs. Tyson preliminary card will be MVP’s super middleweight powerhouse Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (14-1, 11 KOs). Green, the former standout college basketball star and Team USA boxing silver medalist, joined MVP in January 2023 after a trailblazing start to her professional career. Shortly after, Green defeated the former unified world champion Elin Cederroos with a vicious sixth-round TKO, marking the first and only time Cederroos was ever stopped in her career. Green’s bout against Olivia Curry in August 2023 led to a resounding unanimous decision victory as part of the Paul-Diaz undercard. Green rose to #1 ranking in the WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBF ahead of her women’s championship fight against former undisputed and now-WBC super middleweight champion Franchon-Crews Dezurn for the WBC world and WBA Interim titles. The bout resulted in a disappointing decision loss for Green, who returned to the ring in July 2024 to prove her status as a title contender, earning a unanimous decision win over Canada’s Natasha Spence. Following her win, the Patterson, NJ native Green is once again the WBO’s #1 contender at super middleweight.
Facing Green for the WBO super middleweight title will be Canada’s Melinda ‘The Whip’ Watpool (7-0, 2 KO). Ranked the WBO’s #2 super middleweight contender and WBA’s #1 middleweight contender, Watpool most recently had a decisive win over Natasha Spence to claim the WBA International Middleweight Championship in September 2024, and now will step up to face Green for the WBO super middleweight title. Watpool, the former five-time Canadian amateur champion from Pefferlaw, Ontario, has taken the professional ranks by storm since she turned professional in late 2022, racking up seven consecutive wins and now positioning herself for her WBO world title challenge against Shadasia Green.
Canadian boxer Lucas “Prince” Bahdi (17-0, 15 KOs) comes to the ring by way of Niagara Falls, Ontario. The 30-year-old top contender has gone undefeated since making his professional debut in mid-2019, winning his first 11 fights by knockout. Bahdi had unanimous decision wins against Diego Fabian Eligio and Diego Andrade Chavez in 2022 before resuming his knockout streak. In May 2023, Bahdi defeated Jesus Amparan to claim the IBF North American Lightweight title. Bahdi is a top-ranked lightweight by both the IBF and WBA and most recently, proved himself among the best title contenders in the lightweight division when he scored a knockout of the year contender win over H2O Sylve on the main card of Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry in July 2024.
Orlando, Florida’s Corey “2Smoove” Marksman (10-0-1, 7 KOs) will take the ring against Bahdi in a 10-round lightweight bout. The talented 24-year-old prospect made a name for himself in his first major PPV appearance on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry main card in July 2024, in a rematch against Tony Aguilar. The pair’s first meeting resulted in a well-fought split decision draw, contested during MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 5 in February 2024. In the rematch, Marksman impressed with grit, power, and endurance, taking home a majority decision win. He now enters the most difficult test yet of his young career, aiming to prove himself against one of the best lightweight contenders of the world in Bahdi.
The preliminary card will also feature a bout between two top-ranked featherweight talents, the undefeated Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington Jr. (13-0, 8 KOs) vs. Australia’s Dana Coolwell (13-2, 8 KOs). The 27-year-old standout prospect Carrington comes to the ring from Brownsville, NY, home of Mike Tyson. Carrington is a three-year pro who has emerged as the featherweight division’s fastest-rising contender, currently ranked No. 2 by the WBC and WBO. He entered the professional ranks following a storied amateur career that included a 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials gold medal. He began his 2024 campaign with February’s highlight-reel knockout of Bernard Torres, which was featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10. Four months later, he dominated Brayan De Gracia en route to an eighth-round stoppage. Carrington now comes into this high-profile fight coming off the stiffest test of his young career, his September 27 majority decision win over Sulaiman Segawa.
Dana “Deadly” Coolwell (13-2, 8 KOs) is a 25-year-old Australian Indigenous boxer, known for his resilience and remarkable journey from adversity to success. A proud Aboriginal man from the Mununjali tribe in Queensland, Coolwell overcame an early life marked by hardship, struggling with direction and purpose amidst family struggles. He discovered boxing at age 14 at Hinterland Boxing Club, where he met Steve Pitt, his coach, mentor, and father figure. Using his natural speed, athleticism, and hard work, Coolwell progressed throughout Australia’s boxing ranks under Pitt’s guidance, most recently securing the IBO Intercontinental featherweight title in a unanimous decision win over Fernando Tagpuno Jr. The talented young prospect is undefeated at featherweight and aims to become the next Indigenous Australian world champion and Australia’s next great boxing story, following names like Anothy Mundine, Daniel Geale, and Lionel Rose.
“From start to finish, Paul vs. Tyson will deliver an exciting night of boxing to fans at AT&T Stadium and across the globe on Friday, November 15, beginning with an action-packed preliminary card,” said Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions. “Less than a year after her first title shot, MVP’s own Shadasia Green has fought her way back and is ready to claim the WBO world championship, but first she has to get through Melinda Watpool, who has her eyes on the prize. We are proud to continue our commitment to showcasing women’s boxing by featuring another title bout on this incredible card. Corey Marksman first caught our eye on Most Valuable Prospects, and after his standout performance on Paul vs. Perry, we’re thrilled to have him return to face Lucas Bahdi, who delivered a knockout-of-the-year contender on the same card. With the thrilling addition of Shu Shu Carrington and Dana Coolwell, a proud Aboriginal fighter from the Mununjali tribe, this card truly embodies the diversity and world-class talent that defines MVP.”
The Paul vs. Tyson main event will feature the 8-round heavyweight battle between international superstar Jake “El Gallo” Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) vs. The Baddest Man on the Planet Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs). In the co-main event, undisputed super lightweight champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) will put all her super lightweight belts on the line against boxing trailblazer and unified featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs) in a 10 round women’s championship fight, the most anticipated women’s boxing rematch in history. Also on the main card will be the 12-round men’s championship fight for the WBC welterweight title between reigning champion Mario “El Azteca” Barrios (29-2, 18 KOs) vs. Abel Ramos (28-6-2, 22 KOs) and a 6-round super middleweight fight between India’s number one boxer and MVP’s first international signee Neeraj Goyat (18-4-2, 8 KOs) vs. Brazil’s multi-talented superstar Whindersson Nunes (2-2-1, 1 KO combined boxing record).

Continuing a transformative journey and kickstarting a bold creative chapter, multiplatinum Hip-Hop luminary Quando Rondo returns with a new single “Luh Wodie.” Alongside the track, Quando revealed the official music video directed by Ace The Shooter.
The single sets the stage for the arrival of his anticipated third studio album, Here For A Reason, on November 15. His storytelling takes center stage on the project as he takes listeners on a journey of healing, self-discovery, and triumph.
When you know yourself, you can share your story. During a meteoric rise as one of hip-hop’s most enigmatic figures, Quando Rondo discovered himself. The Savannah, GA native went from D.I.Y. upstart to multiplatinum phenomenon, but he also simultaneously transformed from a complicated teen into a thoughtful young man. Along the way, he found fame and fortune, yet he lost friends and loved ones. Never letting his foot off the gas, he built a bulletproof catalog of bangers highlighted by platinum singles—“ABG,” “I Remember” [feat. Lil Baby], and “Imperfect Flower”—as well as a slew of gold singles, namely “Bacc to the Basics,” “Dope Boy Dreams,” “New Ones” [with NoCap], and “Scarred from Love,” to name a few.
30 years ago today rapper Brad “Scarface” Jordan dropped his third studio album The Diary. The album was released on October 18th, 1994 by Rap-A-Lot Records. With singles like “Hand of the Dead Body” released on September 27, 1994, and “I Seen A Man Die” on November 1, 1994, The Diary was certified platinum by the RIAA on December 5th, 1994.
This album was a lot different from his first two releases, Mr. Scarface Is Back and The World Is Yours. On The Diary, Producers N.O., Joe, Mike Dean, Uncle Eddie, and Scarface himself chose a different route when it came to sounds. They were influenced by live instruments, southern blues, and the relaxed pace of that California G-Funk. This became a Rap-A-Lot trademark.
Classic tracks from this album include the haunting “Hand Of A Dead Body”, which features Ice Cube and Devin The Dude, the action-packed storyline of “Goin’ Down” and the epic “I Seen A Man Die”, which was followed by the unforgettable visual.
Salute to J. Prince, Uncle Face, Mike Dean, N.O. Joe, Uncle Eddie, the entire crew at Rap-A-Lot for this timeless classic!
Today in Hip-Hop history, Brooklyn trio Digable Planets released their sophomore LP Blowout Comb. Serving as a more politically charged follow-up to their jazzy debut, Reachin’: A New Refutation of Time and Space, this album showed the group’s stance on Black nationalism and inner-city living in the mid-’90s.
On this album, the trio abandoned their radio-friendly style to focus on a more militant agenda. Fundamentally, the group metamorphosed, leaving behind their once-coveted insect-centered imagery. As a group, they felt misunderstood. Their original intention with relating their cause to insects was to focus on the fact that bugs, although small, have a “nature to stick together and work for mutually beneficial causes,” according to frontman Ishmael Butler. While working on Blowout Comb, the group completely shed their insect facade and emerged anew with a new focus and new identities. The former “Butterfly” changed his moniker to “Ish,” “Ladybug” became “Mecca,” and “Dooblebug” was now “C-Know”.
Lyrically, this album was something straight out of the Black Power Movement. With references to The Nation of Islam, The Black Panther Party, Allah’s 5% Nation, and the racial and class struggles of the impoverished minorities of the United States, it is no secret what statement Digable Planets was trying to make. They did not want their Afrocentrism to be overshadowed by crossover appeal as it did on their debut. As a result, this LP did not receive much backing from their label, Pendulum/EMI. Despite its lack of internal support, the album still peaked at #32 on the Billboard 200 and #13 on the Top R&B chart.
Unfortunately, following this album, Digable Planets disbanded. The cause of the split is said to be creative differences and dissatisfaction with the music industry. Luckily for the fans, the trio delivered a masterpiece of conscious rap before fading into the pages of Hip Hop history. Take some time today to appreciate one of rap’s most slept-on albums.
Richard Bond, the director of a shocking new documentary “Tupac: Cover Up” (available on XUMO), and the producer of FOUR (4) other documentaries about the killing of the late rap star, also has a small YouTube “Live” show on the air two times a week. The show serves as an open discussion with the director, whose work on the 26-year investigation of the homicides has made him a constantly invited Subject Matter Expert by Fox, A&E, Discovery Channel, The History Channel, and hundreds of other outlets. He uses the unadvertised YouTube channel “The Tupac Assassination Channel” and the new “Tupac Cover Up channel to directly reach out to his hardcore base.
Yesterday(October 18), Bond had an unexpected caller into the show. The caller was Duane Keith Davis, Jr., the son of the man alleged to have murdered rap star Tupac Shakur, Duane “Keefe D” Davis. Recently, dozens of tabloid-level articles have described secondhand accounts as they pertain to Mr. Davis and his preparations for his trial in March of 2025. Davis himself has done no interviews since his arrest over a year ago. Aside from a periodic court appearance regarding bail or a random court filing, the world has had no insight into what is happening in the world of the man charged with one of the most notorious and infamous crimes in modern American history.
Not anymore. “Keefe-D’s” son, Duane Keith, Jr., in an exclusive interview with Bond- largely in response to having watched the Xumo Play docuseries “Tupac: Cover Up”- reached out to Bond to give the world an update on his dad, and to straighten out some bad facts, and introduce a few new ones.
One such rumor put out by the YouTube channel belonging to the former head of Death Row Records security was that Keefe-D had been beaten up in prison.
“He’s good. He’s good. He’s up in there getting fat from all that eating…. it ain’t been no big deal, no problems, no big problems for him. You know what I’m saying? I know many people claim that” said Davis Jr., speaking on the beating rumors.
“That was false. Nobody touched him. No, he didn’t get beat up by anybody. He had a problem with an officer over a mattress, an extra mattress…that’s all. (The alleged fight) that would’ve been another reason if he would’ve reacted…They would use, they would use that against him.”
Bond then turned the question to what was happening in the case and how little to nothing was coming out of the defense camp about how they planned to defend Davis. He asked Davis, Jr., when Davis’s next court date would be.
“It wasn’t one coming up anytime soon, but expect one to be coming up because we, going back to get him out of this situation again,” said Davis Jr., speaking on the recently failed attempt to have “Keefe D” released on $750,000 bail. The bail was recently denied because the Judge in the case did not believe the story of rap artist “Wack 100” as to where the bail money would be coming from.
“We gonna do it the right way and get him out. And, uh, so be expecting a court date very soon, I would say in the next couple weeks, honestly.”
For his part, Keefe D has claimed he fabricated entirely his “confessions” about the shooting for money. Documents in “Tupac Cover Up” tend to allege his “story” may have been a result of police coercion. This news may likely come as a surprise to Vegas investigators, who are still trying to connect “Keefe D” to the crime by first establishing that he was in Vegas that night. So far, all Vegas police have come up with is a receipt from “Keefe D’s” now-wife Paula Clemons, who paid for a hotel room at the Monte Carlo.
Davis Jr. Spoke on that as well.
“I understand what you just said, though, but I’m gonna just stop you right there,” said Davis Jr.
“Okay. You can go (get) Court documents from my mother and my father. They didn’t get married till 2000…2005, I believe, in 2005. And, um, just because my mother was out there, what does that have to do with my father? What if she…it’s all a rumor, right? That, uh, Mob James (A.K.A. James McDonald, a former associate of Death Row Records), and uh, Reggie said she was F—ing with Buntry!”
Buntry (A.K.A. Alton Mc Donald) was a Death Row Records associate known as a “henchman.” Buntry was also the brother of “Mob James”, who made this claim. “Buntry” was the man in the now famous MGM videotaped beating of additional Vegas suspect Orlando Anderson- Keefe D’s nephew. Police claim that this MGM beating was the triggering event for Anderon and Keefe D to go get a gun and shoot at Tupac and Marion “Suge” Knight later that evening.
“What if she was out here with Buntry? Nobody knows…That’s all I’m saying,” said Davis Jr.
“When it gets to the news, and many people hear it, like I said, they say my mom was in bed with him. Yeah. Then maybe they were staying out there, whatever. I don’t even know. What was it, the Monte Carlo? So what if they were staying at the Monte Carlo? Because Buntry was out here. And they said that my mom was f***ing him. So ,what if that was the case?”
These series of statements made by Davis Jr. highlight the lack of evidence Vegas PD has been able to come up with in 27 years of investigation. They are allegedly trying to scrounge up any video footage from 1996 they can find to try to place Keefe D in Vegas- a major problem for the prosecution. It also shows how quickly any evidence collected may have a different explanation.
Bond’s docuseries “Tupac Cover Up” tells the story of an old narrative that has been re-invented to indict Dwayne “Keefe-D” Davis in Clark County, Nevada. And he thinks all this media trying to link Diddy to Tupac’s 1996 killing is vapor.
“They (Clark County Prosecutors) are running with a stale and debunked hood legend that falls apart under its weight,” claims Bond.
“In 2012, an unreliable ex-L.A.P.D cop invented a story that filled in and re-enforced that old narrative with the help of a man they were, to some degree, possibly collaborating within a profit motive. The man who validated this theory after 14 years of never hearing this story before- Mr. Davis- looked to be coerced into what he said to Vegas Police. We show it in the documentary- “Stick to the Story,” one LAPD officer tells Davis- after Las Vegas Police leave the room so you can “sleep well” at night. It’s total coercion. “
