Offset Promises New Album In February Of Next Year, Might Collab With Eldest Son

It seems like Offset’s new album SET IT OFF really inspired him to put in work in the studio, because that album’s cycle in media coverage and playlist rotation isn’t even over and he’s already planning two steps ahead. Moreover, TMZ Hip Hop recently caught up with him in Beverly Hills and said that he will release another album in February of next year. While this is very exciting news for fans, apparently this might be a family project of sorts for the Georgia rapper, too. In addition to this, he also said that his eldest son Jordan’s been working hard on his beats, and might be getting a credit on this next project.

“I would, I definitely would,” Offset replied when asked whether he’d ever put his children on an album or song. I got something coming out with my son, anyway. Not a song, though, but you’ll see it. You’ll see, it comes out Friday. Next album dropping February. Exclusive, I just told y’all that.” Apparently, the outlet also determined that he referred to his oldest son Jordan’s production and explained that the project for Friday didn’t end up panning out due to some tweaks, but these statements don’t show up in the clip below.

Jadakiss Joins Drink Champs With His Father & Son

Jadakiss was the latest guest on Drink Champs, and he also brought along his son and father for the conversation. In fact, The Lox member’s father expressed that he didn’t really know hip-hop culture before his son became one of the best rappers out of New York. Moreover, he discussed not wanting the Yonkers MC to sign a record deal and not really understanding the craft or worth of his work. However, eventually he clicked, and Jada’s father was very appreciative and proud in their dialogue. Overall, it was an entertaining episode that covered a lot of different aspects of his career.

For example, Jadakiss, his son, and his father discussed starting Kiss Cafe Coffee, a family-owned coffee company. N.O.R.E. remarked how incredible it is that hip-hop culture didn’t really have a coffee before, and also spoke on how it should go beyond the community and become big in the industry. What’s more is that Kiss has a lot more on the way that’s more in his traditional wheelhouse. Recently, he revealed that he has multiple upcoming projects this year, including two solo albums and an album with The Lox.

His incredible performance during their first showdown made for one of the most praised and talked-about moments in hip-hop that year. If anything, it just proves that his talent and skill goes much father beyond what people saw as his career peak. No matter his success, he continues to push himself, especially after he saw such recognition for the Verzuz performance.

In addition, the “We Gonna Make It” artist is an advocate for easing tensions in the genre. Along with former opponent Freeway, he urged the younger artists in the game to squash their beefs, standing by his now-close relationship with the Philly rapper.
