Ray J Admits His Sister Brandy Had This To Say About His Face Tattoos

Ray J has opened up a little bit more about the response to his bizarre new face tattoos, which have inspired some conversation online for their eccentric nature. Two of them are at least understandable: the names of his children Melody and Epik, but the one of his new TV network Tronix is the one that’s really raising eyebrows. Still, it seems like the singer and actor doesn’t really mind the backlash… unless it’s coming from a place where he knows it’s all love and genuine care. Moreover, he recently revealed during an Instagram livestream on Wednesday (April 24) that his sister, fellow celebrity Brandy, reached out to him after he posted a video showing the tats off with some worried thoughts.

“My sister hit me and said, ‘Yo, that post that you posted, take that s**t down,’” Ray J admitted. “She said I didn’t look clean, I looked dirty. My mouth was chapped, I got white s**t coming all out my mouth. My sister is mad at me because she doesn’t want my face tattoos. She doesn’t want me to come online irresponsibly. And that’s why I love her.”

Ray J Shows Off Face Tats In Video That Brandy Wanted Him To Take Down: Watch

Furthermore, the video already ran its course by the time that he took it down, but it’s unclear whether he was more critical of his appearance in the recording or if he’s regretting the tattoos themselves. Either way, it seems like Ray J is doing this for very different reasons than what people might assume or expect with a headline like this. “A lot of people think I’m going through some kind of crisis,” he expressed. “I appreciate y’all support for praying, but it ain’t like that. I’m never going to audition for s**t ever again. Why would I audition for a movie when I could just shoot my movie and put it up and make money?

Meanwhile, some people think that these are fake in the first place. We’ll see what Sukihana’s rumored new boo has to say about all this moving forward. Hopefully there are more people like his sister in his corner that are trying to balance out his antics. For more news and the latest updates on Ray J and Brandy, stick around on HNHH.

Ray J Sparks Concern Among Doctors & Friends With Bizarre Face Tattoos

Ray J is once again making headlines for some wild stuff, although this might be a little more tame in many’s eyes. In fact, he’s been on an upward trajectory as of late, with the biggest story about him recently being some dating rumors with Sukihana that really ignited over this past weekend. However, the Mississippi entertainer is drawing a lot of concerned, amused, or perturbed reactions online due to his new collection of face tattoos. They include the names of his children, Melody and Epik, plus the logo of his Tronix TV network, as he showed off on Instagram Live on Monday (April 22).

“Everybody tripping,” Ray J remarked, indicating that his friends and even medial experts are pretty worried about this decision and apparently his mental health. “I had a few doctors call me and DM me. Thank you, I appreciate the love because if you worried about me, then please let me know. If I’m falling by the wayside, If I’m going left, help me go right. I’ma listen. Straight up.“ Then, he relayed plans to make them even larger on his face despite concerns, and claimed that they were unfinished at the moment.

“I’m about to go finish them right now, and I’ma really go big today,” Ray J planned out, which probably didn’t help with folks already expressing concern. “When I’m done with them, then I think everybody might f**k with them. But if they don’t, you ain’t got to look at me.” Furthermore, in a separate clip, he explained that, while he thinks the tats make him “look real unattractive,” it was his intention to make it so that he probably wouldn’t appear in more movies or TV shows, thus allowing him to focus on more executive and behind-the-scenes entrepreneurship.

“It’s all in for me now,” the 43-year-old posited. “I did this on purpose.” Nevertheless, what do you think about these face tattoos? Is Princess Love’s ex making the right boss move here to avoid TV and movie deals or was there a simpler way to do this? Drop your thoughts on all this in the comments section below. Rappers Who Regretted Getting Face Tattoos

Artists often use various forms of self-expression to convey their unique identity and experiences. This is precisely why many rappers have gotten tattoos, some of them even inking their face. The face tattoo is quite popular among rappers, and has gained traction over the years. It is embraced by some as a powerful symbol of individuality, and in other cases, rebellion. However, given enough time, a number of rappers have expressed regret at getting face tattoos.

Recently, Chrisean Rock inked a huge portrait of Blueface on her face, causing a stir on social media. While fans ultimately have no say in her decisions, many believe that she will come to regret it. The current discourse has also brought up the names of other rappers who admitted to regretting getting their faces tattooed. Here’s a list of some of those rappers.

Rocaine

Detroit rapper Rocaine has two tattoos on his face. One is of his late grandmother’s name, and the other is of a rifle. In an interview he had with DJ Smallz in June 2017, the rapper was asked if he regretted getting the face tattoo. “Yeah, I have some regret for sure,” he replied. He shared further that while he’s glad he got a tattoo of his grandma’s name, he was going to have the rifle “lasered off.” Afterward, in another interview he had with SAY CHEESE, he also expressed displeasure at the rifle tattoo underneath his eye. He said, “I didn’t know it was gonna look like this,” and said he would take it off.

Lil Xan

27-year-old Lil Xan is one of a few rappers who got their first face tattoos as teenagers. The rapper has shared that he first inked his face at the age of 18 and collected more as the years went by. However, he shared in a 2020 interview with DJ Smallz that he has regretted getting them. The rapper admitted that he questioned whether or not he made a big mistake getting his face tattoos. “What comes with face tats is that you’re pretty much signing up that you’re not going to live a normal life,” he said.

Famous Dex

Like the two aforementioned rappers, Famous Dex has expressed regret for getting face tattoos before. First, he admitted as much in an interview with DJ Smallz as well. During the 2018 interview, Dex said, “Yes, I do regret all these tattoos on my face. I wish I never did that. I regret all of them.” In another interview with Big Boy TV that same year, the rapper shared a major reason why he wished he never got the face tats. “I wanna do a lot of movies and commercials,” he said. However, he admitted that the tattoos affect his image, and reduce his chances of doing those things.

Kevin Gates

Another entry on the list of rappers who regret getting face tattoos is Kevin Gates. In May 2019, he said as much during an Instagram live, surprising some fans. To many listeners, his facial tattoos are a part of his overall image, so the information took them by surprise. However, Gates said what he said, pointing to the star tattoo on his forehead, saying he wanted to get it removed. In addition, the rapper dropped some advice on face tats for his followers. “I wouldn’t recommend it, and the reason I wouldn’t recommend it is because so much comes with it,” he said.

Gucci Mane

Surprisingly, one of the most recent rappers who have voiced out about regretting face tattoos is Gucci Mane. His iconic ice cream tattoo has been a big part of his brand for years now. However, to the surprise of many, he admitted that it was a decision he wished he could take back. During an interview on The Morning Hustle in October 2023, he was asked if he takes credit for starting the face tattoo trend. “I wouldn’t take credit for starting the trend, but I think I definitely made people think it was something cool to do,” he said. “I was going through something when I did it. If I could do it over again, I probably wouldn’t have [done] it.”

North West & Kim Kardashian Twin With Face Tattoos & Matching Neon Chanel

North West may only be 10 years old, but the young girl was famous before she was even born. When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announced they were expecting their first child together, no one could have ever expected the rollercoaster that life would take them on over the next decade. Though they couldn’t quite see eye-to-eye in terms of their marriage, the pair have been doing their best to successfully co-parent North and her three siblings, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. In the past, they came to blows due to their eldest’s desire to post content on TikTok. While Ye was initially against his daughter being on the platform, she and Kim continue to post videos together on their shared account for the world’s entertainment.

On Monday (September 25), @kimandnorth lit up with a new video of the mother-daughter duo altering their appearance with the use of filters. The tween and the 42-year-old both revealed what they’d look like if their faces were covered in tattoos while comfortably lounging at home. Of course, Kardashian once compared the idea of her getting inked to putting “a bumper sticker on a Bentley,” so it’s unlikely we’ll see her sporting a piece anytime soon. North, on the other hand, could take after her father when she’s old enough to make more permanent decisions about her body.

Apart from that video, the reality starlet and North also put together a vlog from their day out at Kourtney Kardashian’s baby shower. The Poosh founder is expecting her first son with Travis Barker, and recently underwent emergency fetal surgery to save the fetus’ life. Thankfully, she seems to have made a full recovery in time to host her Disney-themed event.

Kim and her partner-in-crime wore coordinated Chanel outfits for the function, the former in a bright yellow vintage button-up while North rocked a coral colour in the same design. Both wore their dark hair up in high ponytails and embraced the cooler fall weather with sharp black leather pants.

Lil Wayne On Inspiring Artists To Get Face Tattoos: “It Feels Amazing”

Lil Wayne recently discussed the ways that he feels he’s influenced the next generation of hip-hop artists. In doing so, he explained that he believes he is a major reason for the rise in popularity of face tattoos. Wayne discussed the idea during an interview with Billboard for one of the outlet’s pieces celebrating hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.

“Sometimes people ask me how I feel about everybody looking like me, everybody getting tattoos, etc,” he began. “That’s like seeing your kid come out of the room and looking just like you; it feels amazing. So the visible influence is kind of obvious because I know for a fact I didn’t get this look from anyone. There was no one that inspired this look. I just ran into looking like this. (Laughs.) But other than that, I hope that my work ethic [is influential as well].”

Later in the interview with Billboard, Wayne discussed his placement on the outlet’s ranking of hip-hop’s 50 greatest rappers. Of landing in sixth place, Wayne remarked: “That’s awesome. You would be happy to be anywhere on that list.” As for his own personal top five, Wayne revealed: “There’s no specific order, but it’s simple. For me, it’s always been Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, UGK, Goodie Mob, and Biggie.”

Of his selections, Wayne explained: “It’s because I organically grew up on [them]. You know, when you’re asked, ‘How’d you start listening?,’ there’s a story for everybody … like, someone I know told me to start listening or whatever. But like I said, every decision I make is organic.”

Cardi B Shows Off Her New Face Tattoo For The First Time

For a good chunk of 2022, it has been Cardi B’s mission to get a face tattoo. Back in January, she tweeted, “Random but ….I’m 1% close too tatting my sons name on my face….I really really wanna do it!” She then added, “I want mine on my jaw.” That wasn’t just a fleeting thought that quickly faded away: Last month, photos and video surfaced of the new ink, which sure enough was on her jaw and appeared to be text of her son’s name, Wave. Now, Cardi herself has shown it off for the first time.

In an Instagram Live broadcast on Saturday (September 10), she pulls the hair on the side of her face aside and shows off the red ink on her jaw, which does indeed say “Wave.” Cardi said, “I tatted my son’s name because I love him. And I tatted my daughter’s name.” As for that second tattoo, Cardi showed it off on her arm.

Also over the weekend, Cardi took the time to empathize with people struggling as inflation continues to increase, saying, “The way that the prices soared up… how are people surviving? I wanna know!”

Cardi B Now Has A Face Tattoo

Cardi B has one of the most distinct tattoos in all of entertainment, the gigantic peacock piece on her leg and hip. Now, she’s gotten some new ink that can’t be covered up by a dress or pair of pants: Her first face tattoo.

Cardi has yet to share any photos or videos of it online, but on August 14, tattoo artist Robinson De Los Santos posted a video of himself applying some red ink to Cardi’s jawline on the left side of her face, writing (translated via Instagram), “Work today cardi B.” Cardi fan pages have also shared a photo of De Los Santos and Cardi together, with the red tattoo somewhat visible on Cardi’s face, close to her ear.

It’s hard to make out what the tattoo is, but it appears to be text. It may be her son’s name, Wave. The photo seems to be a selfie, and selfies taken by most phones present a horizontally flipped view of reality, mirroring what you see on the screen; This one seems to have been flipped in such a way, as the video shows the tattoo being applied on the left side of her face, while in the photo, the ink appears on the right side of the face.

So, flipping the photo, that first character does look like it could be a W, while the rest of Cardi’s jawline is covered by a strand of hair, obscuring any potential additional ink. Furthermore, in January, Cardi tweeted, “Random but ….I’m 1% close too tatting my sons name on my face….I really really wanna do it!”
