Tony Buzbee Is Livid Following Recent Extortion Allegations From Diddy Affiliate

It sounds like the “high profile individual” poked the bear earlier today, so to speak. According to an update from TMZ, Tony Buzbee is firing back following a recent lawsuit against him. This unknown person claims to have been close with Diddy for years. This individual sent in a suit to the L.A. County Superior Court Monday morning against Buzbee for alleged extortion. Whether or not these allegations turn out to be true will come with time, but the Doe’s legal documents arrived a fishy time.

In Tubi’s recent documentary surrounding Diddy’s arrest, Buzbee said he was looking to expose many big names outside of the mogul. The Houston lawyer claimed to have already sent out demand letters looking for money. But if these Diddy affiliates don’t respond then lawsuits are coming. This Jane Doe seems to either trying to get under Buzbee’s skin, or he has an actual case against him. Those results will come later. For now, though, the man representing over 120 alleged victims of Diddy’s is ticked off and then some.

Buzbee spoke with TMZ, and he’s making sure he nor his clients will be silenced. “We won’t allow the powerful and their high-dollar lawyers to intimidate or silence sexual assault survivors.” Overall, he feels that this person’s suit is a joke and that they are taking blatant advantage of the system. In addition, he’s dismissing the “high profile individual’s” extortion allegations.

Buzbee says that he did send in a demand letter to a lawyer in NY representing the Jane Doe “seeking a confidential settlement on behalf of 2 clients instead of a lawsuit.” However, he affirms that no money requests nor threats were made on his behalf. Buzbee then capped off his feelings about the suit, emphatically stating, “I am a U.S. Marine. I won’t be silenced or intimidated. Neither will my clients.” Lastly, things may be taking a major turn as he has also seriously considering sharing more information the demand letters.

“High Profile Individual” Tied To Diddy Files Lawsuit Against Tony Buzbee For Alleged Extortion

At the end of last week, a report surrounding Tony Buzbee was making some noise. For those who aren’t familiar, he’s the lawyer representing over 120 alleged victims of Diddy’s. He was essentially issuing a major warning for other celebrities who had any sort of connection to music mogul. Particularly, those in relation to the alleged “Freak Offs” who did nothing to stop the alleged acts of sexual assault and more he feels should be held just as accountable as Diddy. This information arose following the release of the Tubi documentary The Downfall Of Diddy: Inside The Freak-Offs.

Buzbee claimed in it that he already sent out demand letters asking for large sum of money. However, if they don’t comply with those demands, hefty lawsuits could be coming. Well, TMZ reports a “high profile individual” is filing a lawsuit against Tony Buzbee for this alleged extortion. This person claims they were close with Diddy and attended many functions with him. The Jane Doe alleges Buzbee is “shamelessly attempting to extort exorbitant sums from him.” Overall, the lawsuit contains “wildly false horrific allegations,” Doe says.

Specifically, they are “entirely fabricated and malicious allegations of sexual assault.” The docs go on, “including multiple incidents of rape of a minor, both male and female.” Furthermore, the documents allege these acts occurred at Diddy’s parties. This will be an interesting side story, as the Houston lawyer’s future in this case against the Bad Boy Records founder could be bleak.

The lawsuit against Tony Buzbee was filed by the Jane Doe himself this morning to the L.A. County Superior Court. Quinn Emanuel will be the “high profile individual’s” representation. It’s one the most highly regarded law firms in the United States. Diddy’s future doesn’t look great either, but with Buzbee potentially running into some serious trouble, a decent chunk of allegations could be tossed.

Bishop Lamor Whitehead Receives 9-Year Prison Sentence For Extortion & Fraud

After a court found him guilty of extortion and fraud, Bishop Lamor Whitehead received a prison sentence of nine years for his various convicted crimes on Monday (June 17), according to Daily News. Moreover, for those unaware, the specific charges are wire fraud, attempted extortion, lying to the FBI, and other related incidents connected to three separate situations. One of these involves how Whitehead scammed one of his parishioners’ mother out of $90K of her life savings, promising to renovate a home for her to live in. Instead, he bought designer clothes and a BMW, tried to extort $5K from someone for a car repair job, and falsified bank documents for a $250,000 loan.

“The defendant was trusted by many in his community,” assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica Greenwood expressed. “He was the bishop of a small church in Brooklyn and a self-described businessman. He was a friend to the mayor of New York City.” Furthermore, she claims that Bishop Lamor Whitehead took advantage of his congregation’s trust and made up stories about Hollywood heavyweights for their cash. “He promised to use the money to buy a fixer-upper home that he would renovate for [his parishioner’s mother] to live in. And she believed the defendant, a man who, by that time, had become a mentor and spiritual adviser to her son.”

Bishop Lamor Whitehead Sentenced To Nine Years

Of course, this is far from the only controversy Bishop Lamor Whitehead has experience in, albeit probably the most serious. Nevertheless, he previously made headlines for challenging D.L. Hughley to a million-dollar boxing match. “Wait ’til y’all hear this interview,” Whitehead shared about his talk with Hughley. “I’m sitting there like, ‘Yo, bro. Brother. Yo, I actually like you. I watch your movies.’ You know? And he was [screams] like a little girl! [scream] Like a little chihuahua!”

Meanwhile, this incident resulted from a robbery that took place during one of Bishop Lamor Whitehead’s live-streamed services. Perpetrators stole about $400K in jewelry during the live event, which caught many’s eyes as a scandalous story almost two years ago. Clearly, things took a turn at one point, and now he has much bigger fish to fry. It looks like the court closed this case, but we’ll see if any other details or developments emerge.

Kevin Hart Sues Tasha K For Extortion Over Interview With Ex-Assistant

According to new legal documents obtained by The Blast, Kevin Hart has decided to take legal action against Tasha K. He recently filed a lawsuit against the gossip blogger, accusing her of extorting him for $250K. Allegedly, a representative of Tasha K contacted Hart’s team in November of this year, claiming to have a damning interview with an ex-assistant of his at the ready. He accuses her of threatening to unleash it should he not provide her with the money.

Tasha K was eventually hit with a cease-and-desist letter stating that she had no right to discuss Hart’s story. He further noted that he wouldn’t be paying her. Tasha K later shared a snippet of the aforementioned interview on her blog’s Instagram page. Hart’s team perceived this as a threat; suggesting that if she wasn’t paid, she’d release the full interview.

“You have already engaged in criminal conduct and tortious acts that would entitle Mr. Hart to monetary damages against you should he elect to commence civil litigation regarding this matter,” Hart’s suit reads. “To the extent that you do not cease and desist now, your liability for such monetary damages will increase, as will your exposure to criminal penalties.” Hart also argues that his ex-assistant, Melissa Shake, would be in hot water if the interview was released. According to him, she signed an NDA when she was employed by Hart.

In the interview, Shake makes various bombshell revelations about the beloved comedian, including that he’s allegedly a serial cheater. She accuses him of getting a steward on his private jet pregnant, fornicating with an Instagram model behind his wife’s back, and more. Shake also alleges that Hart struggles with a gambling addiction and that “poker is his game.” She claims that it once got out of hand, and he was allegedly unable to properly pay his employees.
