Doja Cat To Be The Newest Guest On Hot Ones

Doja Cat, for better or worse, has been a hot topic over the past few months. We say better or worse because there is a huge divide on where people stand on the California artist’s latest regime. If you have not been keeping up with Doja, she has been going through a change in her mindset, as well as her appearance and behavior online. She got into it with some fans on Twitter about not loving her fans. The artist responded by saying that she does not really know them, therefore she cannot display those strong emotions.

It continues from there, with her new hairdo and posts on Instagram. She has a buzz cut and the things she is uploading have been left field. Lots of random imagery and talk about the devil and demons has been a common theme. Because of all of this, many are upset with how she is changing. This could be the reason why her latest record, Scarlet, which addresses a lot of these topics, saw a slightly disappointing first week of sales. However, her music seems to resonate with quite a few people still. Her hit “Paint The Town Red” continues to dominate the charts and was the first rap song to go number one this year.

Doja Cat’s Interview Should Be Interesting

All of this and more should be discussed in her episode of the hot-wing eating show, Hot Ones. Hosted by Sean Evans, Uproxx shared that it will premiere on October 12, which is this Thursday. Doja is also fresh off of her performance at the VMAs a few weeks ago, so there is more than enough to delve into. We are sure that there will be plenty of ensuing storylines from this sit-down.

What are your initial thoughts on Doja Cat being the next guest of Hot Ones? Do you think this will be one of the biggest interviews the show has ever had? How do you believe the interview will go? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around Doja Cat, as well as the rest of the pop culture world.

Wale Joins “The Shop” For Live Episode

The Shop” is hitting the road, and they had a very special hometown guest pull up for a live episode in Washington, DC. None other than Wale emerged on stage and took a seat in the barbershop seat to chop it up about a wide range of topics. In addition, the rapper, Maverick Carter, and Paul Rivera were joined by former NFL star Ed reed for an enlightening conversation. Overall, it seems like everyone both in their seats and in the crowd had a great time, adding yet another episode to “The Shop” and its historic run of great interviews. It doesn’t look like LeBron James was there this time, but hopefully this tour holds some more surprises.

Even though Wale’s family raised in Maryland after they moved there when he was ten years old, the District of Columbia is still proud of him. The 38-year-old was born in Northwest DC in Ward 4, specifically in the Brightwood neighborhood. As such, they gave him a warm welcome as he said hello to his fellow guest and hosts and waved at the crowd. Despite a long career and a steady grind, he remains one of the DMV’s premier voices within contemporary hip-hop, and he always reps the nation’s capital.

Speaking of that longevity and success, it’s something that continues to bear fruit to this day. For example, Waka Flocka Flame’s “No Hands” recently went diamond, which features Roscoe Dash and Wale himself. Just on the strength of that track alone, the trio has party representation for the ages, exemplifying the best parts of early 2010s trap. If you don’t think it aged all that well, you should probably go outside and hit up your nearest bar or club.

Meanwhile, the strength of fan-favorite mixtapes like More About Nothing (which recently hit streaming services) also speaks to the Folarin II artist’s craft. This new live episode of “The Shop” likely discussed these accolades and developments in full. If you want to catch a live taping for yourself, their final show will be in Atlanta next week. “The Idol” Reaches Massive Streaming Debut Numbers

Whether you love it or hate it, odds are that you’re watching HBO’s new series with The Weeknd, “The Idol.” If you’re not, there’s still plenty of time to join the 3.6 million viewers that streamed the series’ premiere episode in its first week on their service. According to HBO, this represents one of the biggest-ever streaming debuts (and viewership debuts, for that matter) in the network’s history within that timeframe. To put things in perspective, “The White Lotus” premiered in 2021 with 3 million viewers in its first week, whereas “Euphoria” (also helmed by Sam Levinson) nabbed 3.3 million in 2019.

The second episode of “The Idol” is already out, and it’s caused no shortage of shocked, outraged, or entranced reactions online. While the show seems to have one foot in controversy and another in critique, it’s definitely caused a stir online that reflects in its commercial success. At least some credit has to go to the show’s cast and crew for that very reason, as it’s always possible that it will age like fine wine for its detractors. With two-thirds of the season to go, it’s still quite early to say whether numbers will keep rising by the finale or dip out eventually.

“The Idol” Nabs Big Numbers For Its Premiere

Regardless, if you don’t like “The Idol,” The Weeknd is at least releasing a lot of new music- each week, in fact– to accompany it. As such, Abel die-hards can turn to tracks like “Family” and “Popular” to get a taste of the HBO series if they don’t want to see its lewd and provocative subject matter. What’s more is that the show might just open up more avenues for the Canadian superstar external to the show’s success. Recently, he expressed interest in writing and co-producing an album for Madonna after their collaboration for the series’ soundtrack.

Meanwhile, Twitter continues to dish out its hot takes surrounding the show, whether for its story, acting, or otherwise. Social media conversation has been integral to the show’s critical reception thus far, especially considering The Weeknd’s built-in fanbase, fans of “Euphoria,” and the 3.6 million views it got in its first week. It’s a lot of pressure and even more division, but maybe that’s exactly what a show like this aimed for. For the latest news, updates, and recaps concerning HBO’s “The Idol,” stick around on HNHH.
