Dwayne Johnson
Pardison Fontaine Had Some Thoughts On The Rock Wanting To Be Megan Thee Stallion’s Pet
With both Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Megan Thee Stallion preparing new projects — DC’s League Of Super Pets for him, a new album for her — you might have expected both to be in the news cycle a lot this week. However, you probably wouldn’t have expected them to be in news posts together, since those projects are in separate media. But when The Rock was asked which celebrity’s pet he’d most want to be — an innocuous enough question, and on-theme for the film he’s promoting — worlds collided in a most hilarious and borderline bawdy way.
Johnson cheekily (and quickly) replied Megan Thee Stallion, which instantly sent the internet into a tizzy. While it’s obvious that Megan pampers her dogs 4oe, 5ive, Dos, Six, X, and Oneita, it was equally obvious that Johnson had other benefits in mind. Just look at that face!

Of course, Meg’s been spoken for, and her boyfriend, fellow rapper Pardison Fontaine, hit Twitter with his response, writing, “All our dogs named after #s. Just teach your wife to use seasoning. You’ll be iiight … Moana is the shit tho.” Fans had a field day with his reaction, wondering how a real-life confrontation between the rapper and ex-wrestler might go. It didn’t exactly shake out in Pardi’s favor.
Pardi ain’t did nothing to 5’4 Tory Lanez who shot his chick . Wtf he gonna do with 6’5 270 nigga used to wrestle for a living named The Rock lmaooooo https://t.co/3oEaD6ebp1

Pardi really in a tough spot. The Rock has more money than him, is more famous than him, and can beat his ass.
The male ego really isn’t built for this kind of assault. https://t.co/vwSGzxmf1k

Naturally, after a few hours of this treatment, he deleted the tweet and changed tactics. “Of all the things to be worried about y’all think I’m mad at the Rock,” he cracked. “The comment started all our dogs #s and ended with Moana is my shit .. I deleted it (yesterday).. cus it seem like ppl took it wrong .. thought maybe my joke was in poor taste.”

Nah, man. You walked into that one. Good to see he’s taking it with good humor though. League of Super Pets is out now. Meg’s album is coming soon.
Vin Diesel Announces Brie Larson Will Join ‘Fast & Furious’ Film Serie
Captain Marvel is headed to the Fast & Furious franchise. Brie Larson has been announced as the newest cast member of the high-speed, action franchise. With production for Fast & Furious 10 underway, series star Vin Diesel hit Instagram and revealed Larson’s inclusion.
“Yeah yeah yeah… you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self ‘that’s captain Marvel.’ Clearly there is love and laughter in this image. What you don’t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie.”
Previously, Vin Diesel took to Instagram to try to convince The Rock to put their differences aside and reprise his role for the final Fast & Furious movie.
In an interview with CNN, Johnson said that Diesel’s post was “manipulative,” and he did not like how he brought up his children or the late Paul Walker in the post. He added that he spoke with Diesel in private and said that there “was not a chance” that he would return for the final F&F installment.
“I was very surprised by Vin’s recent post. This past June, when Vin and I actually connected not over social media, I told him directly – and privately – that I would not be returning to the franchise. I was firm yet cordial with my words and said that I would always be supportive of the cast and always root for the franchise to be successful, but that there was no chance I would return. I privately spoke with my partners at Universal as well, all of whom were very supportive as they understand the problem.
“Vin’s recent public post was an example of his manipulation. I didn’t like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker’s death. Leave them out of it. We had spoken months ago about this and came to a clear understanding. My goal all along was to end my amazing journey with this incredible ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise with gratitude and grace. It’s unfortunate that this public dialogue has muddied the waters. Regardless, I’m confident in the ‘Fast’ universe and its ability to consistently deliver for the audience, and I truly wish my former co-stars and crew members the best of luck and success in the next chapter.”

The Rock May Try Making Country Music After His Rap Debut On Tech N9ne’s ‘Face Off’
Last week, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, best known for being “the most electrifying man in sports entertainment” and slinging bad puns while steering a riverboat down the Amazon with Emily Blunt, shocked the world by appearing on Tech N9ne’s new single “Face Off” with a surprisingly competent rap verse. Your mileage may vary on whether or not it was actually “good,” but he executed the thing about as well as anyone could expect — especially if, as he brags in the closing ad-lib, he really did in one take.
Save some of that surprise for his next trick, though — which, according to his new interview with Billboard about his rap debut, could very well be a country song. Asked whether he was thinking about doing more music, he replied, “Yeah, I would love to. Now I’ve been hit up by all those friends, like, ‘Okay, so when are we doing our s–t?’” However, as it turns out, it isn’t just rappers seeking a hot 16. Growing up as he did in Charlotte and Nashville, he’s also got a lot of love for country music. “I think there’s something down the road where I may collaborate with some artists in that genre as well,” he says. “Some of those guys are my friends — like, for example, Jamey Johnson, Mickey Lamantia, Gethen Jenkins. There’s a real authenticity there, and, you know, maybe I could pick up my guitar.”
