DJ Muggs Enlists Ice Cube, B-Real & MC Ren To “Dump On Em” For New Single

PSA: there’s a new old-school boom-bap posse cut with four legends for you to lend your ears to and nod your head along to. Moreover, DJ Muggs enlisted a crew of legendary MCs (Ice Cube, MC Ren, and B-Real of Cypress Hill) to bring us “Dump On Em.” Of course, with this list of collaborators, this is a classically grimy, menacing, and hardened banger with a lot of impactful lines and threatening energy. In particular, it’s great to hear Ren of N.W.A. pop up on a new track, as he’s more elusive than his collaborators here. Regardless, even if he was dropping a new album every week, this performance still stacks up well with the dark instrumental.

In fact, all the verses here showcase a lot of chemistry, charisma, and cold-blooded narratives. B-Real especially shines on this cut, not only because of his yelpy and ear-grabbing vocal tone, but for his vivid imagery and consistent flows. Furthermore, it contrasts well with the following bars from MC Ren, who still has his husky voice to emphasize the threats in his lyrics. Unsurprisingly, Ice Cube still sounds hungry to this day, and comes through with the most measured but emphatic set of lines. It might not reinvent the wheel, but it’s exactly the kind of track that displays what makes this brand of hardcore hip-hop so relevant and fresh to this day.

Meanwhile, DJ Muggs’ beat is as cold-blooded as the verses, with a thick bassline, menacing piano leads, and a dry drum pattern that switches up in the chorus. Actually, if you like this track, make sure to check out some of his other material from this year with the likes of Madlib and Mayhem Lauren. “Dump On Em” scratches an admittedly niche itch, but when it hits, there are few other styles that sounds as raw and grounded these days. If you haven’t heard this track yet, find it on your preferred streaming service and peep some notable bars down below. Quotable Lyrics
In the home of the drive-bys and gang ties,
Better stay on your game and keep your f***in’ eyes wide
Open, motherf***ers always on the come-up,
Follow you home and then they run up with the gun up

Sukihana & Webbie Hit The Golf Course With Sultry Snaps

Sukihana’s one of pop culture’s most fervent and recent social media obsessions, turning heads with her antics link-ups, and perspective. As wild as it’s been to see her become a star, there have been plenty of unexpected moments along the way. For example, Sexyy Red brought her out for her Rolling Loud Miami set, which was a great moment for both up-and-coming rappers and a great moment of solidarity. Overall, it seems like she’s everywhere these days, and clearly having a great time and advancing her career as a result of all those travels. However, when it comes to her celebrity meetings, nothing could’ve prepared us for her crossover with a 2000s rap star.

Moreover, Sukihana and Webbie recently hit the golf course together, which left many on social media quite surprised. Regardless of the oddity of that pairing, they still seemed to enjoy themselves, with Suki posting various pictures of their outing. Sure, there were a couple of them on the green together teeing up their next shot, but also one of the “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” star spreading herself out on the green. “You can take me out the ghetto but the ghetto ain’t never leaving me, webbietrill,” she captioned her pics.

In addition, it’s actually been a busy few days for Sukihana when it comes to unexpected celebrity encounters. Another one of those came this week when she finally saw Dr. Umar in person after thirsting for him and having some online back and forth. Still, it seemed like they only posed for some quick pictures and a nice chat, because the Delaware native clarified that they didn’t have the spiritually guided meeting she expected. “I didn’t have the meeting with Dr.Umar yet but when I do I feel like I’m going to come out a whole different woman,” she tweeted.

Meanwhile, this is at least better social media attention than what the Baton Rouge rapper got recently. A lot of people clowned his crop top fit online, but he seemed to shrug it off, albeit with a bit of annoyance. Maybe Suki can give him some style advice in the next few weeks. On that note, come back to HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Sukihana and Webbie.

Rihanna Urges Fans To “Call HR” In Latest Instagram Photo Dump

Rihanna’s latest Instagram photo dump saw her playfully cause a mess in an office space, both literally and figuratively. Moreover, the soon-to-be mother of two posted pictures in sleek black underwear amid printers, copy machines, and a whole lot of loose paper. Not only that, but she also celebrated five years of Savage X Fenty in her caption, in which she also cheekily referenced everyday job lingo. “It’s giving…call HR!! #5yearsofSAVAGEX,” the Barbadian star wrote. In fact, it’s not the only milestone in her life that she’s celebrating as of late.

Recently, Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky finally revealed the name of their firstborn son. According to a Daily Mail report, who apparently obtained the child’s brith certificate, RZA Athelston Mayers was born on May 13, 2022. Of course, given that Rocky’s name is actually Rakim (after the pioneering Long Island rapper), the love of New York hip-hop is unsurprising. Still, not many people must’ve had that Wu-Tang Clan moniker on their baby name bingo card. In addition, Athelston is also the “Praise Da Lord” MC’s middle name, thus continuing a legacy in more ways than one.

Rihanna Livens Up An Office Space On Instagram

Also, this new stylish Instagram dump from RiRi should come as no surprise to longtime followers. After all, her and A$AP Rocky are often “Fashion Killas,” whether when they’re out on the town, posting on social media, or showing up fashionably late to fashion events. Their outfits at the 2023 Met Gala were among the most anticipated looks of the night, and they didn’t disappoint. With all their appearances in everything but album form, fans can’t stop asking them to come back at this point. As busy as Rihanna and Rocky’s schedules may be, it’s hard to imagine they won’t capitalize on the hype with their next full-length projects.

Meanwhile, the “Lift Me Up” singer is stacking up accolades, milestones, and achievements as often as she adds fire looks to her wardrobe. One recent example of this is her Super Bowl Halftime Show, which became the most-watched in the tradition’s history. Whether a new album comes or not, she won’t be leaving the pop culture space anytime soon. Regardless, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Rihanna.
