[WATCH] Drake Blasts Fan Who Throws Vape at Him During Brooklyn Tour Stop

Drake Dreamville

Fans really have to stop throwing things. During Drake’s run of shows for the It’s All A Blur tour, women have thrown bras at The Boy. And by his standards, that’s ok. During one of his shows at Barclays Center, a vape was thrown at Drake, and he ripped whoever did it, especially because vaping is illegal in the building.

“Did you throw a vape up here? Come on,” Drake said. “Who threw this? Who threw the vape? “There’s no way you’re taking life seriously if you think I’m gonna pick this vape up and vape with you at the fucking Barclays Center.

“You got some real life evaluating to do throwing this fucking lemon mint vape up here, thinking I’m about to vape with you at the Barclays.”

Drake Won’t Get Married Anytime Soon For Several Reasons, Including, As He Put It: ‘I’m Not, Like, Amish’

Drake’s rapper’s rumored girlfriend, Lilah Pi, might want to plan her exit. After the rapper’s awkward appearance on TikTok influencer Bobbi Althoff’s The Really Good podcast, he opened up about his outlook on romantic relationships. Drake has a long list of high-profile ex-partners, including Rihanna, SZA, and Serena Williams. However, he has yet to find his bride.

During the interview, Drake revealed that his marital status isn’t due to disinterest in companionship. When Althoff introduced the topic after reading a few lines from his poetry book, Drake asked the host why she was married. She flipped the question on him, and he replied, “I don’t know; it seems like a thing of ancient times or something.”

He continued, “I think I will eventually. The truth is I don’t think I could offer someone what it is that they’re looking for right now. My work is my priority. I wouldn’t want to contribute as a partner. I don’t wanna get married ’cause, like, I just don’t wanna disappoint someone.”

Althoff claimed that he couldn’t get married because of his promiscuity. In an attempt to rebuttal, Drake said, “I’m not, like, Amish,” referring to a group famous for their traditional approach to marriage.

Later during the chat, Drake also confessed that he’s not interested in jumping into any more entanglements with other celebrities. That suggests the rumors that he and rising rapper Sexyy Red were an item are inaccurate, regardless of their recent steamy photo. “Famous people really aren’t that… aren’t that anything. They’re not that intriguing,” Drake told Althoff.

Drake Seen Leaving Hotel in Dog Mask, Carrying Glass of Wine

Drake Seen Leaving Hotel in Dog Mask, Carrying Glass of Wine

Fans have often said that Drake’s “got that dawg in him,” but this week, he took that statement literally as he was spotted leaving his hotel in New York City wearing a full-head dog mask.

Drake rocked the head-turning (or tail-wagging?) look on Thursday as he left his hotel to head to his performance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The black and tan mask (which some say is a doberman while others say is a rottweiler), which covered his full face and neck, was complimented by a fresh New York Yankees baseball jersey and gray sweats and what appears to be a glass of white wine.

Luckily it appears that the “Hotline Bling” singer was able to see just fine through the mask’s eyeholes as he successfully made it to his show in Brooklyn (one of several in New York City over the past week). The performances were part of his “It’s All a Blur” U.S. tour with 21 Savage.

While the look may have raised eyebrows, several music insiders have hypothesized that it’s a promotion for his upcoming solo album, For All The Dogs, which is expected to drop within the next couple of weeks.

Drake And Central Cee Flex Their Riches And Status In A Boisterous ‘On The Radar’ Freestyle

Drake is two weeks into his It’s All A Blur Tour with 21 Savage. He welcomed J. Cole to the stage for a surprise performance in Montreal, and he shouted out Stephen Curry during his show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Drake’s collaborative spirit isn’t reserved for tour.

On Friday, July 21, On The Radar shared a freestyle between Drake and UK up-and-comer Central Cee. Drake had been teasing the video on Instagram, writing, “A little exercise on a off day…me and Cench @ontheradarradio loading [“up” emoji, cold face emoji].”

In the nearly five-minute video, Drake starts off.

“If I take flicks with the guys / I gotta put emojis over like three faces / ‘Cause the fans can’t see those eyes / People I shouldn’t be beside,” the OVO boss raps. “When I was an actor, they would go Stratford / Just to sell food on Bieber’s side.”

Within his flow, Drake explains why he’s hard to read and even harder to tie down. He admits to keeping an eye out while performing (“Seen you from the stage in the 100s / These must be eagle eyes”) and even likens himself to Jesus and Julius Caesar.

Drake finishes out by boasting about his longevity and continued dominance (“Cench might need vaccine when he see how this vid start going viral”) before handing the mic off to Central Cee.

Cee seamlessly jumps in and piles on the flexing — “Now I can sell out the O2 Arena twice / Don’t ask what the fee looks like” — and touches on the isolating feelings involved when elevating above his peers. The finishing touch was Drake throwing his arm around Cee and sipping from his red Solo cup.

Drake Semi-Revealed His New Album’s Release Date During His Latest ‘It’s All A Blur Tour’ Stop

During his latest It’s All A Blur Tour concert in Brooklyn, Drake gave attendees an update about his upcoming album, For All The Dogs. He’s been going all-out with the teasers lately, from rocking a Doberman mask while out and about to encouraging the men in the crowd to bark like dogs. But last night at Barclays Center, he gave the most promising teaser yet; during a break between songs, he said the album is coming “in a couple weeks, or some sh*t.”

If he sounds unsure, it might be because he’s totally focused on touring at the moment — or maybe he’s just playing up the loose, off-the-cuff vibe of his current album rollout. He is, after all, one of maybe a dozen artists who could still conceivably get away with a surprise release these days — and an even smaller number of rappers (it goes: Drake, Kendrick, Travis, Cole, maaaaybe Tyler).

Meanwhile, Drake’s been using his tour to take pokes at all kinds of foes, from Anna Wintour, who shut down his and 21 Savage’s joke Vogue covers last year, to Childish Gambino, who admitted that “This Is America” was originally going to be a Drake diss before it evolved into the semi-social commentary it ended up as. Drake’s going to end up in a dog fight at this rate — but maybe that’s just what he needs to keep up his insane release schedule.

Ebro Walks Back His Comments About Drake, Who Doesn’t Need To Be ‘Some Social Activist’

After catching an enormous backlash from fans on his previous comments about Drake, Hot 97’s Ebro Darden course-corrected during his show this morning, adding some much-needed nuance to his original statements.

Fans were upset with Ebro after he pointed out the lack of social commentary in Drake’s music on the latest episode of Apple Music’s Rap Life Review show (Drake’s shot at the Supreme Court for overturning Roe V. Wade notwithstanding). During a discussion comparing Drake’s catalog to “This Is America” by Childish Gambino after Drake called it “overrated” during his tour, the outspoken radio host asserted that Drake “has never shown up to have anything to say about anything going on in society with Black folks or anything other than himself.”

But now, after being drubbed in the various comments sections of the social internet, Ebro appears to be changing his tune. On Ebro In The Morning, he elaborated, “I don’t know if I even want that. That’s not who he is. I don’t think an artist is obligated, if you have a platform… but in this context, you’re talking about a song that did… now you’re in the fray.”

“We love Drake for who Drake is,” he continued. “Drake’s talking about love, he’s very transparent personally. From what we can tell, he’s a nice person. He’s not a mean-spirited person. None of that. We don’t need him to be some social activist.”

Is Drake Dating Sexyy Redd? A Picture With His ‘Rightful Wife’ Has Some Asking Questions

It sure doesn’t take long for “is Drake dating…” rumors to start up. Seemingly every time there’s a new female performer on the scene, you can bet Drake will show up eventually to hang out, give advice, or potentially collaborate with them. And there will be pics or videos, so inevitably, folks on the internet will start wondering — no matter how unlikely the pairing (call it a career hazard of being the Certified Lover Boy).

This time, it’s St. Louis rapper Sexyy Red being connected with Drake by fans after the “Pound Town” performer posted pics cuddling up with the constantly crushing Canadian. Drake also reshared the photo on Instagram with the caption, “Just met my rightful wife.” The speculation started up almost immediately, with fans either praising Red for “bagging” the biggest star in music today or excoriating Drake for his supposedly thirsty ways.

Of course, the pics popped up only a little after a month since the last Drake dating rumor, when he was supposed to be hooking up with singer Lilah Pi and had everybody Googling “Who is Lilah Pi?” Other famous women Drake has supposedly romanced include Kim Kardashian, SZA, and even Taylor Swift, once upon a time. Honestly, if even half these rumors were true, you have to wonder when Drake would ever have time to, you know, record music.

Truthfully, it’s probably just a case of a connection, by chance or intentional — after all, networking is the lifeblood of the entertainment industry — and the two artists’ naturally flirtatious natures giving fans some fat to chew on a slow Wednesday. Still, it’s a great look for Sexyy Red, who is proving she’s equally great at stirring up controversy as she is at cooking up raunchy raps that we just can’t stop singing.
