Kanye West’s 2024 Campaign Reportedly Received Zero Donations In Recent Weeks

It’s been a turbulent back and forth battle concerning whether Kanye West’s presidential campaign for 2024 is even happening. However, the most recent report to come out concerning it certainly doesn’t suggest any good news. Moreover, Radar Online reportedly obtained copies of the Federal Electoral Commission’s (FEC) filings on the campaign on Monday (July 17). These documents suggest that not a single person has donated a single penny to it within the past few weeks. As such, hope for the run vanished, yet people wondered how much Ye even cared about in it in the first place.

Furthermore, on April 1 of this year, apparently the campaign had around $125,000 to spare concerning expenses. After paying consultants and additional employees around $101,000 in total, Kanye West’s efforts didn’t have much money to spare by June 30. While the run doesn’t have any outstanding debts indicated by these reports, this means that the campaign apparently had just about $23,000 upon June’s end. In addition, the Chicago artist claimed he blew over $2 million in bills, but only garnered close to $455,000 in donations since his 2024 strategy’s inception.

Back in April, he allegedly told a documentary filmmaker he hired to document the campaign that he wanted to scrap it. “Right now, I am living my life- like I’m concentrating on the school, the Donda Academy, and my new wife, and my kids, and that’s it,” Kanye West apparently told Adam Camacho. “I just want to be left alone.” What’s more is that this turbulent campaign garnered assistance from controversial right-wing figures that hopped on-board, jumped off, and kept teetering on that edge. One of these is Milo Yiannopoulos, who received a $31,000 payment for being Ye’s “Director of Political Operations.”

Meanwhile, rumors of a new album from the Yeezy mogul sprouted online. As such, many fans hope that Ye can rectify his past mistakes and bring new great art to the table. Still, with all these extracurricular controversies, it’s hard to say whether this will even be worth it. For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West, stick around on HNHH.

Beyoncé Challenges $2.7 Million Tax Bill

Beyoncé has a bone to pick with the Internal Revenue Service, and she’s taking her issues with the government agency’s judgement to court. Moreover, the RENAISSANCE superstar challenged the IRS to review her $2.7 million tax liability in 2018 and 2019, citing an erroneous notice of deficiency. It alleged that she owed $805,850 in tax in 2018, $1,442,747 in 2019, and $449,719.40 in combined penalties. Furthermore, her dispute filed on April 17 cites a mistake the IRS made by disallowing millions of dollars in deductions. These include over $850,000 in charity contributions in 2018, and the notice of deficiency came about in December.

According to Forbes, the court will schedule a trial as soon as they can, even though the parties involved would rather not have it go that far. Furthermore, Beyoncé maintained that she “acted reasonably and in good faith,” and contested the attributed penalties. In fact, those represent 20% of the amount of underpaid tax, which reportedly results from how much money she allegedly owes. Interestingly, the petition lists Bey as the sole taxpayer, not alongside her husband Jay-Z.

Beyoncé Disputes Tax Liability

Of course, as one of the most successful and enduring stars in pop music at large, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem for the “Irreplaceable” singer. Not only does she continuously find huge commercial and critical success with her music, but her extracurriculars solidify her icon status. From a buzzed-about world tour to her cultural impact, it’s no wonder TIME named her as one of the most influential people of 2023. That being said, these situations can sometimes get murky quickly, so hopefully Beyoncé is able to clear this up without much hassle.

Meanwhile, she continued to challenge and best herself this year in a lot of different spaces. One of those was her new couture for RENAISSANCE in collaboration with Balmain, which saw her turn heads in the fashion world once again. Also, she found a new horizon on the charts, with “CUFF IT” surpassing “Halo” as her longest-charting solo song of all time. No matter the industry, the 41-year-old had a lot to celebrate these past few years. When it comes to the years before, time will tell whether she’ll have to pay up. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Beyoncé.

Donald Trump Pays Own Legal Fees With $10 Million In Donor Money

Former President Donald Trump is under fire yet again for meddling with political donations. According to The New York Times, the 45th Commander-in-Chief has been paying personal lawyers with funds from his Save America political action committee. The Times acquired this information through Federal Election Committee filings. Factoring in capital from both 2021 and 2022, the numbers reach $16 million collectively. This totals up to 20% of Save America’s expenditures spent outside of other candidates.

Now that Trump has decided to run for the 2024 election, campaign finance experts suggest a cap be put in place. This would deter Donald Trump from using Save America’s donations for his own financial woes while running for office. This type of advice hasn’t stopped the MAGA forerunner before, however. In fact, former Manhattan prosecutor Mark Pomerantz plans to unveil a majority of Trump’s political crimes in an upcoming book.

Donald Trump’s Woes Continue

Pomerantz, also a veteran defense lawyer, submitted his resignation letter in February 2022. Prior to this, the author was gearing up to go forward with a RICO case against Trump. Though his team failed to go through with it, Donald Trump may not get off completely scot-free. Currently, the former reality star has evidence against him via a probe through Alvin Bragg, Manhattan’s latest District Attorney. There’s an investigation into alleged hush money given to Stormy Daniels for her reported affair with Trump some years ago.

This is all far from the end of Donald’s Trump legal battles. Recently, the politician was ordered to pay taxes after evading “local, state and federal taxes over more than a decade.” Though his team plans to appeal, Trump was ordered to pay $1.6 million in the fraud case. This number is viewed as a cakewalk for him, considering. “That’s equivalent to about $25 to Donald Trump. He probably spends more at Mcdonald’s,” political commentator Scottie Hughes states. If that’s not enough, Trump is also facing a lawsuit stemming from the 2021 Capitol riots. This comes after former police officer Brian Sicknick died one day later, suffering two strokes before he passed.

Kanye West’s 2024 Campaign Has Received Zero Donations: Report

Kanye West’s 2024 presidential campaign has yet to receive a single official donor. The news comes from a filing submitted Monday which was obtained by The Daily Beast. The campaign, officially registered as “Kanye 2020,” also reported spending $142,000 in expenses over the last three months of 2022.

While West hasn’t officially filed his candidacy with the FEC, he’s been vocal about planning to run for president in 2024. Back in November, he posted a video on Twitter, revealing that he had asked former President Donald Trump to be his running mate.

“I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about, me asking him to be my vice president. I think that was like lower on the list of things that caught him off-guard,” Ye said in the video. “When Trump started basically screaming at me at the table telling me I was going to lose — I mean has that ever worked for anyone in history. I’m like hold on, hold on, hold on, Trump, you’re talking to Ye.”

At the time, West was working with Nick Fuentes as well as Milo Yiannopoulos. The filing reports two payments for Yiannopoulos: one for $9,955 and another for $40,000. Ye also paid Fuentes $9,026.46 and $5,693.41 in travel reimbursements. West later reportedly fired Yiannopoulos, who had been working as a campaign manager for the rapper.

The political failing also comes after a string of erratic behavior from Ye, who praised Adolf Hitler and made numerous other antisemitic remarks. If Kanye West continues with his 2024 campaign, it will be the second time he runs for president. His last campaign, in 2020, finished with just 60,000 votes.
