Young Thug’s Sister Delivers Cryptic Message About Leaked Jail Calls

It’s been an undoubtedly hectic week for Young Thug, as a few days ago, footage of him chatting on the phone with Leena Sayed during his time behind bars surfaced online. Reportedly, the conversation happened back in 2022. At the time, he told the Instagram model to “move on” from him and “find love” with someone else instead. Nowadays, both of them are in long-term relationships with other people, prompting Young Thug to speak out about the emotional exchange on X.

“Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious sh*t,” he tweeted on Monday (December 23). “I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no f*ck bout no h*es or n**gas.” As for Sayed, she confirmed that the phone call took place before she met her current partner Devin Haney. “That video was before I met my bd,” she explained. “I would never talk to Thug or any other man.”

Dolly White Says She Knows Who Is Behind Leaked Jail Calls

Now, Young Thug’s sister Dolly White has taken to X with a cryptic message about the footage. According to her, she knows who leaked it. “I know who leaking them videos but ima be quiet,” she wrote simply. The news outlet Law & Crime is reportedly behind the leak, which several Instagram users in The Jasmine Brand‘s comments section point out. For now, it’s unclear whether or not White thinks there could be more to the story.

Her post arrived just in time for Young Thug’s apology to his current girlfriend Mariah The Scientist, which he issued on X last night. “Sorry to my baby for all this bullsh*t on the internet. I love u baby and f*ck em all we know what’s up with us!” he wrote. “I love yo game more than life mommy..” At the time of writing, Mariah has yet to address the debacle.

Young Thug’s Sister Claims Rapper Says He’ll “Be Home In A Min”

Although fans want the YSL RICO case to end, Young Thug is still waiting for it to begin officially. The rapper was arrested in May 2022, along with over two dozen others. Prosecutors suggested Thugger was the ring leader of a YSL gang, but his defense claims the collective is only a record label. At the moment, the jury selection portion of the trial is taking longer than expected. For months, potential jurors have been added and subtracted. It was recently announced it could take several more months before a final jury is decided upon.

Meanwhile, Thugger’s loved ones and fans continue to take to social media to share their support. The rapper’s sister, Dolly White, has also been vocal about Thug’s circumstance, and she offered an update after conversing with him. “I talked to My Twin Jeff,” White wrote on Instagram. “I told him I’m lonely out here without him. He said you supposed to be. I’ll be home in a min. I miss tf out of him. Cause Dez B*tches & N*ggaz gone come & gone go so WE KNO HOW TO DEAL WIT YALL!!!!

Controversy Surrounding Gunna

Gunna’s release from jail is a hot topic in the YSL RICO case. The rapper copped to an Alford plea, making him the first defendant to be discharged. Several others have followed, but Gunna has faced allegations of cooperating with the authorities. He has remained relatively quiet as his peers use social media to praise or criticize him. As the debates dragged on, Gunna’s attorney returned with another denial of partnering with law enforcement.

“After reading [Jewel Wicker’s] outstanding, insightful article, I am obliged to say for the record one more time: Gunna has never been interviewed by or cooperated with law enforcement or prosecutors in the RICO case,” said Steve Sadow. “Nor have his attorneys proffered information on his behalf. What was said at his Alford plea hearing was solely to resolve his own case. It cannot be used by the prosecution against Young Thug or any defendant.”

Dolly White Once Called For The Public To Stop Talking About Snitching

In December 2022, Dolly White further suggested she was tired of seeing the “rat” and “snitch” talks. “Can y’all please stop saying that people ratted and people this-and-that?” White said. “It’s not making anybody better, it’s not making nothing good, bro. Nothing that’s going on is[…]helping my brother. So, can y’all please stop that? If y’all love Gunna, then y’all give him support. Like, what the f*ck y’all over there doing? Y’all tripping.”

Lil Gotit & Dolly White Asked About YSL RICO Trial By Paparazzi

Lil Gotit has been one of the “Free YSL” movement‘s most active supporters. Ever since Young Thug and other members of their crew were arrested in May last year, he’s been advocating for their release.

In September, the 23-year-old explicitly showed his support for his brothers through the single, “Free Y$L.”

Earlier this week, Gotit was spotted at an airport alongside Thug’s sister and fellow YSL artist, Dolly White. Of course, a paparazzi member from TMZ asks them about the forthcoming RICO trial.

“Everybody good. Everybody just gotta relax,” says the “She Know It” rapper. When the cameraman asks the artists about Gunna and other YSL members taking plea deals, Gotit is seemingly about to open up. However, the “Reckless” rapper intervenes. “More power to them! We can’t talk about that,” she says.

“Nah, Jeff [Thug] good,” Gotit says later on. “He good, I just talked to him this morning,” says the “Ski” rapper’s sister. She then goes on to call out the media for spreading false rumors about the situation. Namely Akademiks, for his reports that Thug didn’t sanction any of the plea deals.

When asked about Thugger’s hopeful release, the pair sound optimistic. “He gon’ get out,” says Gotit. “We ain’t worried about that,” says White afterwards.

In the latest development in the case, authorities are charging the Barter 6 rapper with eight counts. This comes after he was facing a possible 65 charges. The eight against him include conspiracy to violate the R.I.C.O. act and two counts of participation in criminal street gang activity.

However, the murder charges will not be going forward against the 31-year-old. Previous reports were indicating that Thug would be facing life in prison if convicted of murder. “So I just spoke to a lawyer familiar with the YSL case. If Young Thug gets convicted of murder, he will get life in prison. Under Georgia law, he will only be eligible for parole after 30 years. If he gets convicted for even 1 count in his RICO case, he’ll get 20 years,” writes DJ Vlad in a tweet on Sunday (January 1).
