Cassie’s Alleged Texts To Diddy After Hotel Assault Released By U.S. Government

The United States government recently released some alleged text messages relating to the federal trial of Diddy for alleged sex trafficking, according to an exclusive report from AllHipHop. Moreover, the messages are from Cassie to Sean Combs, and she allegedly sent them out after he assaulted her in a hotel room in Los Angeles in 2016. For those unaware, footage of this incident surfaced earlier this year. The singer’s lawsuit against the Bad Boy mogul emerged in late 2023 under the Adult Survivors Act, which he quickly settled before a barrage of other civil suits followed. The details of this settlement remain unknown to the public.

“I have a black eye and fat lip,” Cassie allegedly texted Diddy per the government’s disclosure. “You are sick for thinking it’s OK to do what you’ve done… I still have crazy bruising. […] I turn my head for a second, and you get f***ed up. And you drag me down the hall by my hair… I have bleeding cuts… You hit me in the head two good times. […] When you get f***ed up the wrong way, you always want to show me that you have the power and you knock me around. I’m not a rag doll. I’m someone’s child.”

Diddy publicly apologized for assaulting Cassie when CNN released the video earlier in 2024, remarking on his “inexcusable” behavior and emphasizing his turn to therapy. While the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office did not prosecute this case due to it falling outside of the statute of limitations (or time elapsed), his abuse is a part of federal prosecutors’ allegations against him in his federal case for alleged sex trafficking.

As for other updates on Diddy, Shyne recently ruffled a lot of feathers by claiming he was the “fall guy” in the 1999 club shooting that left the Belizean artist in jail for almost nine years. He alleges that Puff Daddy was the one responsible, and this claim got a lot of pushback from folks like Funk Flex. Others believe there may be a point here. But these are all allegations, so take them with a grain of salt.

Cassie’s Lawyer Calls Out Diddy & His Family Amid Gag Order Bid

It’s no secret that Diddy is currently in a world of legal trouble, as he’s currently behind bars on charges of alleged racketeering and sex trafficking. Throughout his legal battle so far, the Bad Boy founder’s family members have been vocal with their support. Cassie’s lawyer Douglas H. Wigdor, however, thinks this might be working against him.

According to a new exclusive report by AllHipHop, Wigdor filed a letter with the court yesterday (November 1), in which he mentioned Diddy’s family. He argued that the gag order Diddy recently requested was hypocritical, considering some of the public statements they’ve recently made in support of the mogul.

Widgor noted how Diddy’s son Quincy Brown took to Instagram last week to comment on his father’s current situation. “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family, WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD,” Quincy declared at the time.

Widgor argued that if Diddy’s family is allowed to speak their minds, it’s only fair for Cassie and his other alleged victims to be allowed to as well. “It is not clear exactly whom Mr. Combs seeks to silence with his requested relief, but his submission suggests that anyone who has claimed to have been a victim of Mr. Combs—regardless of whether their experience is relevant or connected to the criminal case at hand—must be prevented from speaking out about their allegations,” he wrote. Cassie Is Reportedly Planning Her Return To Music After Diddy Scandal

In November of last year, Cassie filed a bombshell lawsuit against her ex Diddy, accusing him of sexual assault, abuse, and much more. The lawsuit was the first of many, as after Cassie opened up about her alleged experiences with the mogul, several others followed. Diddy has since been arrested and is currently facing various charges related to alleged racketeering and sex trafficking. If convicted on all charges, he could reportedly be sentenced to a minimum of 15 years or a maximum of life in prison.

Now, a source tells Daily Mail that Cassie is considering returning to the music industry by releasing some of her new music. “Cassie is considering making a comeback to music now that Diddy is behind bars and some of the executives who were his lackeys are resigning,” they claimed.

In December of last year, her former collaborator Ryan Leslie revealed that the last time they spoke, she had been planning a tour. “I think that was much further past after our working relationship,” he said of her allegations against Diddy. “The last conversation we had, she’s planning for a tour.” At the time of writing, it remains unclear if or when Cassie plans to unveil new music or hit the road. Regardless, it’s safe to say that fans would be happy to see her get back to her passions following this undoubtedly difficult chapter in her life.

Cassie’s Songwriter Recalls Diddy’s Disturbing Alleged Phone Call With Singer

Diddy’s recent arrest and ongoing legal battle have prompted various individuals from his past to come forward to share their own alleged stories. One of these individuals, Cassie’s songwriter Tiffany Red, recently opened up about the experiences she allegedly had with him on ABC’s Secret Life of Diddy — A Special Edition of 20/20. She recalled one particularly chilling alleged phone conversation she heard Diddy and Cassie have, which tipped her off to the fact that something was off.

“Is someone in the car with you?” Red remembered Diddy allegedly asking Cassie, according to Us Weekly. “I know someone is in the car with you… That was my first time being, like, ‘Something is wrong.’” She went on to detail another disturbing alleged interaction, which she says took place in August of 2015, right around Cassie’s 29th birthday.

Red alleges that she saw Diddy get “in [Cassie’s] face,” cuss her out, and more while she was cornered in a room. It’s unclear what prompted the alleged explosion. “He was really mad, he was really close to her face and she just had her head down,” Red also alleged. “My sense was that everybody around him was afraid of him.”

These aren’t the only allegations Red has made against Diddy in recent months, however. In September, she also took to Instagram to share her reaction to his arrest. “While co-creating Cassie’s sophomore album, I was degraded by Sean Combs, deceived by him, his team, and the record labels about the music being released, I was exposed to Diddy’s abuse of Cassie and others in her circle, and I unknowingly consumed something laced without my consent at his Hombly Hills home studio while writing for Cassie back in 2017,” she alleged. Diddy and Cassie were together for years, but the information that has come out over the last year has radically altered how the public views them. Diddy has been accused of several harrowing acts by Cassie and other alleged victims. The Bad Boy founder has been charged with racketeering and sex trafficking. He also received widespread hatred after security footage leaked in which physically assaulted Cassie in a hotel hallway. The internet has been sifting through old Diddy clips ever since his allegedly darker side has come to light. And the latest involves Cassie.

TMZ uncovered footage of Diddy and Cassie performing together at a Dubai show in 2018. The couple take the stage, and Diddy performs one of his best-known solo hits, “I Need a Girl, Pt. 2.” Cassie appears to be all smiles as she dances with the mogul. Nobody suspected anything was wrong at the time, and in watching the footage back, it’s easy to see why. Two years prior, however, Diddy had attacked the singer during the aforementioned hotel incident. To make matters even more sinister, Cassie decided to break up with Diddy for good only a few months after this 2018 performance took place. Reps for the singer confirmed the timeline.

Cassie has been vocal about the trauma she allegedly suffered at the hands of her famous ex. She took to Instagram shortly after the hotel footage surfaced to clarify her stance on Diddy. “Domestic Violence is THE issue,” the singer explained. “It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of heart work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.” Diddy initially denied the allegations made against him by Cassie, but changed his tune upon the release of the hotel footage. He issued a much maligned apology in which he voiced regret over what he did.

Cassie is allegedly not alone in her experience. The singer is one of many alleged victims who have come forward and accused Diddy of physical and/or sexual abuse. Diddy’s lawyer, however, claims that Cassie will be one of the alleged victims who plan to testify against the Bad Boy mogul during his criminal trial. This claim arrived shortly after the lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, tried to turn the media narrative against Cassie and accuse her of being unfaithful to the mogul. He also alleged that Cassie hit Diddy with a cell phone prior to the hotel confrontation. Neither of these allegations have been proven.

Diddy’s legal issues only continue to make headlines, particularly following his arrest in New York City earlier this week. According to TMZ, he’s been charged with “racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.” Yesterday, he appeared in court for an appeal hearing, where a judge shot down his request for release on bail for the second time.

The mogul’s legal saga kicked off back in November with a lawsuit from Cassie, who dated him on and off from 2007 to 2018. She accused him of sexual assault, abuse, and much more. They settled roughly a day after she filed. This summer, disturbing hotel security footage exclusively obtained by CNN also surfaced online. In it, he’s seen pulling the songstress to the ground, kicking her, and throwing objects in her direction.

Following Diddy’s arrest this week, his lawyer Marc Agnifilo alleged that Cassie will serve as a witness in his upcoming trial. Agnifilo also accused her of having cheated on Diddy for years before the aforementioned hotel assault. Now, she’s been spotted out and about in NYC, appearing unfazed by all of the chaos surrounding her ex.

In various clips and photos, she’s seen relaxing at an outdoor cafe, dodging paparazzi, and more. It appears as though she’s living her best life these days, per usual. U.S. Attorney Alleges Sex Worker Was Present During Diddy And Cassie’s Hotel Fight

Diddy was already losing credibility as a positive cultural force when the footage of him assaulting Cassie leaked online. It was harrowing to watch, and validated all of the heinous claims made against him in the preceding months. Diddy’s reputation has never fully recovered. Given that the mogul is now locked up and facing a possible life sentence in prison, it’s safe to assume it never will. That said, the incident with Diddy and Cassie has continued to be a talking point. The Assistant U.S. Attorney prosecuting the case, Emily Johnson, alleged that there was actually a third person present when the assault happened.

This allegation came to light on September 18. Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, previously alleged that Cassie was the one who started the altercation by hitting Diddy in the head with a cell phone. Agnifilo also claimed that Cassie’s infidelity is what sparked the preceding argument. The AUSA, or Assistant U.S. Attorney, pushed back against these comments in court. Johnson alleged that Cassie did not hit Diddy. She supported this stance by alleging that a sex worker was in the room with them at the time. The Neighborhood Talk provides additional details below.

Johnson pointed to other small details in the security footage as a means of defending Cassie’s stance in the altercation. The Assistant U.S. Attorney noted that the singer wasn’t wearing shoes, which suggested she feared for her safety. She also alleged that Diddy, Cassie, and the unnamed sex worker had finished a “freak off” prior to the hallway assault, hence Diddy wearing only a towel. Johnson also read messages that the mogul sent to Cassie after the assault. “Call me, the cops are here,” Diddy allegedly texted. “I got six kids. Yo, please call, I am surrounded. You gonna abandon me all alone.”

The Bad Boy mogul was denied bail on Tuesday, September 17. Emily Johnson successfully lobbied to keep him behind bars before the trial. She cited Diddy as a “serial abuser and a serial obstructor,” and feared that he would attempt to flee the country if allowed to return home. She also directly opposed comments made by Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, about the trial focusing on one victim. “This is not a case about one victim,” she noted. “There are multiple victims.”

It’s not a good time to be Diddy. The mogul has been arrested and denied bail. He’s entered a not guilty plea to the multiple sex trafficking charges that have been leveled at him. To make matters worse, public opinion on Diddy has never been, well, worse. Celebrities are coming out of the woodwork to criticize the Bad Boy founder, or to distance himself from his decades of alleged crimes. Diddy’s lawyer, however, has tried tirelessly to reframe the narrative. Marc Agnifilo addressed the infamous security video in which his client attacked ex-girlfriend, Cassie. He then tried to make a case against Cassie. Inner City Press shared Agnifilo’s statements on Twitter.

Agnifilo alleged that Cassie was actually the person who started the physical altercation. He accused the singer of striking Diddy in the head prior to running out into the hallway. “[It was] an issue that Mr. Combs had more than one girlfriend,” he told reporters. “Victim-1 was looking through his phone and saw that – then hit him in the head with a cellphone, and took his clothing.” Agnifilo didn’t try to defend Diddy’s actions in the hallway. He merely tried to provide context to make his client seem like less of an instigator. The allegations against Cassie didn’t stop there, however.

Agnifilo alleged that Cassie frequently cheated on Diddy during their time together. He went as far as to allege that Diddy hired the personal trainer that Cassie would eventually marry. “These two people were in love,” the lawyer claimed to the court. “Victim-1 ended up marrying the trainer that Mr. Combs got for her. They had been cheating on each other for years.” Marc Agnifilo concluded his allegations against Cassie by claiming that she looks upon her time with the mogul fondly. “Years later, she realized she had a good thing with Mr. Combs,” he stated.

The lawsuit that Cassie filed against Diddy in November 2023 suggests otherwise. The singer accused Diddy of raping and physically abusing her throughout their relationship. Diddy agreed to settle out of court a day after the lawsuit was filed. The footage of the hotel hallway assault exposed whatever sins Diddy tried to cover up by settling, however. The Bad Boy mogul’s reputation has never fully recovered. Cassie has yet to respond to Marc Agnifilo’s new allegations.

The public has certainly heard no shortage of disturbing allegations about Diddy in recent months, many of which pertain to his tumultuous relationship with his ex-girlfriend Cassie. The songstress sued him in November of last year, accusing him of sexual assault, abuse, and much more. They settled shortly after she filed, though just last month, footage of him assaulting her at a hotel in 2016 surfaced online. Of course, this appeared to corroborate some of the allegations she made against him in her suit, and left social media users and peers outraged.

As Diddy continues to face repercussions for his actions, more unsettling accusations continue to come to light. Aside from the additional lawsuits he’s now facing, various former employees, partners, and collaborators have come forward to speak out against him. The Bad Boy Records founder’s ex-bodyguard Roger Bonds is one of them, and has had some shocking things to say about his former employer as of late.

Roger Bonds Recalls Diddy & Cassie’s Alleged Fight

During a recent interview with VladTV, Bonds recalled one of Diddy and Cassie’s intense alleged fights. He claimed they had all been in a car when the former pair began to argue, and things allegedly escalated beyond the point of return. He alleges that eventually, Cassie punched Diddy in the face, leaving him feeling glad that she finally defended herself. “Cassie had punched him in the face, rightfully. She punched him in the face and they started fighting,” he alleged. “In my mind, I was happy because I actually seen her fight back. In my mind I was happy.”

He went on, claiming that things escalated once again when they got back to the house. Bonds alleges that Cassie “kicked” Diddy, prompting him to grab the mogul who had allegedly tried to chase her. Roger Bonds Accuses Diddy Of Manipulating Cassie To Be In A Relationship

The Diddy scandal has been increasingly difficult to keep up with thanks to a barrage of new claims, allegations, and accusations from many sources. Moreover, some of the most recent bombshell claims emerged from his former head of security Roger Bonds’ new interview with DJ Vlad on VladTV. One of these claims included the supposition that Sean Combs made Cassie redo her plastic surgery weeks after the procedure, along with some other allegations. In addition, Bonds accused him of manipulated her into being in a relationship with him, as he allegedly had a promoter make a fake party flier and convinced her to fly to Miami alone for it.

Furthermore, Roger Bonds also claims that Diddy and Cassie did drugs before they had their first intimate moment, and Bonds confirmed that he was under the Bad Boy mogul’s employment at the time. Apparently, Puffy gave her expensive gift after expensive gift, whether it was a Manhattan apartment close to his or a new car. In fact, Bonds alleges that even Cassie’s parents eventually fell victim to this alleged manipulation, since he sent them on trips. He also claimed that the New York entrepreneur and music executive callously controlled much of her finances and career opportunities in ways that potentially sabotaged her potential success.

“You can say I was disgusted with the video,” the father of Kim Porter, Diddy’s late ex, remarked about the clip of him abusing Cassie in a hotel hallway. “And I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that. It was despicable… I couldn’t believe it, I was in Vietnam, and I wouldn’t do that to my enemy. I didn’t know he could stoop that low, I imagine it surprised a lot of people.” It’s important to note that he also said that he never saw Puff Daddy be violent “to that extent” with his daughter.

Meanwhile, some Diddy-related theories now moved on to rope in other celebrities and pop culture elements instead of focusing on him. For example, an alleged industry insider suggested that Jay-Z and Beyoncé are laying low in the public eye due to their connections to him. Of course, they escaped mention in the lawsuits against Puff, so this is just speculative. But we’re sure that more famous folks will continue to speak out about this scandal in one way or another.
