Mal Affirms That Drake Has Turned Down Performing At The Super Bowl Multiple Times

Obviously, Drake is a major artist and in-demand performer. He’s also one of the biggest hitmakers of this generation and has global appeal. So, with MAL of New Rory & MAL saying that Drake has turned down multiple offers to perform at the Super Bowl is certainly a real possibility. However, believing that this is a true fact is very slim. This alleged truth was revealed on the latest episode of his show, and he says that The Boy has been presented with this opportunity “probably four” times. Right away, Rory and his other two co-hosts were immediately questioning the validity.

All of them claimed to have never heard about that and they asked MAL if that’s a fact or Drake told him that. However, he never responded to neither of those. Instead, he just reaffirmed that it was true without any explanation as to how or where he got that information from. Then, Rory went on to wonder why Drake would do such a thing given how immense the Super Bowl Halftime Show stage is. MAL was pretty vague and generic in his answer once again.

No One Is Buying Mal’s Claims About Drake & The Super Bowl

“I don’t know why he would turn it down. That’s up to the artist… maybe I’m on the road right now and I don’t wanna like… Whatever the reason may be”. So, yes, not much clarification from MAL whatsoever. This flimsy claim has fans saying the same thing we are, “This should not be just known right now”. One user on X writes, “Right…cuz that’s definitely believable that only Mal has info that the most streamed rapper in the world has turned down the SB multiple times😂”, he begins. “And that that super secret info only Mal has heard about just so happens to come out after Kendrick’s SB announcement”. MAL also sounded like a staunch Drake fan when said that the MC was laughing about the Kendrick choice. Overall, it’s not fooling the internet (for the most part) or us.

What are your thoughts on Mal confidently stating that Drake has turned down multiple opportunities to perform at the Super Bowl? Is this a bunch of baloney or did you know this too? Do you think is just now coming out because of Kendrick Lamar being the act this year? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Drake Doesn’t Have “Any Resentment” For The Weeknd Not Signing To OVO In Resurfaced Clip, Fans Totally Disagree

Drake and The Weeknd are widely considered as two of Canada’s biggest musical superstars and for good reason. Both have proven over and over again that they know how to make impactful pieces of art. Early on their careers, most know that they were close and helping each other make it in the industry. However, when it came down to Drake looking to eventually sign The Weeknd to OVO, it did not work out for Drizzy. Abel made it clear back then that he felt he could still become a force and sure enough that decision paid dividends tenfold.

Following that, there has always been speculation that they had some sort of beef because of that indifference. Lately, those suspicions have turned out to be true, as The Weeknd made it clear on “All to Myself.” The WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU cut off Metro Boomin and Future’s most recent album, heard him say how happy he was for that decision. “I thank God that I never signed my life away… They shooters makin’ TikToks / Got us laughin’ in the Lambo (Yeah).” Drake recently responded to that diss on his fiery, 20 versus 1 response “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me Fifty).”

With all of that in mind, some people’s minds might be persuaded to think that Drake may be the good guy here. A clip from Drake’s viral interview with Rap Radar about four years ago resurfaced in which he addressed not being able to sign The Weeknd. In it, The Boy says that he personally never had any ill will toward the R&B icon, but that some others on the OVO label did. He also expressed that he was always “super happy” and “excited” for him. However, most fans were not drinking the Kool-Aid. “U could tell he was mad with his lyin ahhh,” one person wrote. “I’d be mad too if I didn’t sign the biggest artist in the world,” another added.

What are your thoughts on Drake and his comments about being “super happy” for The Weeknd? Do you think there is some underlying thoughts of “what could have been,” why or why not? How do you think his career would have looked if he signed with OVO? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Justin Bieber Did Not Perform At Super Bowl LVIII With USHER, Here’s Why

The Super Bowl Halftime Show always produces some interesting story angles every year. In just two days since the performance, fans already have so much to say about it. In fact, fans are already trying/hoping to get certain artists to hit centerfield when the game heads to New Orleans, Louisiana in 2025. Of course, Super Bowl LVIII’s (58) headlining act was Texas-born R&B legend USHER. The show was widely praised due to its impressive choreography, singing, and overall energy. Another reason why it was widely loved could be attributed to the guest acts. Lil’ Jon, Ludacris, H.E.R., and Alicia Keys were just a few who joined USHER. However, one person who was missing in action was Justin Bieber.

The Canadian pop superstar was a highly-anticipated Super Bowl performer. He and USHER have a handful of tracks together as well. Bieber recruited his mentor for “Somebody to Love” and its remix, “First Dance,” and “Peaches (Remix).” So, why did we not get to see some nostalgic songs be put on display for the millions of people watching?

Well, it was as simple as Justin saying “he wasn’t feeling it.” That comes from The Neighborhood Talk and sources close to Page Six. However, there is no ill will whatsoever. In fact, Biebs went on IG to congratulate his pal for show will he sat in the stands watching it all unfold, according to Uproxx. “LOVE YOU MY BROTHER. NOONE CAN SING AND DANCE THE WAY YOU DO. LOVE YOU FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY HEART. BROUGHT THE ‘A’ TO THE WORLD, ONLY YOU BABYYYYYY 😘” It is also worth mentioning Bieber did have health complications not too long ago. But, it is good to see the brotherly love.

What are your thoughts on Justin Bieber’s reason for not performing with USHER at Super Bowl LVIII? Do you think he will get the chance to do it at some point in his career again?
