Machine Gun Kelly and Millyz met up with one another in Cleveland over the weekend to put an end to their long-standing feud. In a clip from the meet-up shared by DJ Akademiks on Instagram, the two go off on their own to discuss their relationship before returning to a room of their peers to dap each other up.
Fans in the comments section loved to see the two rappers handle the situation amicably. “N***s won’t respect this. But this how it really should be. We meet up. Let’s talk about it cuz have the time it even that serious,” one fan wrote. Another added: This what I like to see!! There’s enough money for everybody. More money to be made together than divided salute to these 2.”
Machine Gun Kelly & Trippie Redd Celebrate “Genre: Sadboy” Release
Millyz previously dissed Machine Gun Kelly during an appearance on DJ Cosmic Kev’s The Come Up Show Live, back in November. While rapping over the beat for N.O.R.E.’s “Blood Money Pt. 3,” he labeled MGK “goofy” and defended Jack Harlow after Kelly dissed him. Before that, Millyz took aim at the Cleveland native during an interview with VladTV in 2022. “MGK is garbage,” he said at the time. “He can’t rap, but he got a good rockstar image, but like I’m a real rapper. I really break down bars, syllables and words, so I look past image and flow. A lot of white rappers just came through and did that fast flow and said nothing, so he came in with a rockstar image and all of that, but you’re not nice though.”
Machine Gun Kelly & Millyz Make Amends In Cleveland
In a sad resolution to a tragic case, the city of Cleveland has agreed to pay $4.8 million to the family of a bystander teenager who lost his life during a high-speed police chase. The settlement, reached after years of legal battles, is a stark reminder of the profound consequences of reckless pursuits and the lasting impact they can have on innocent lives.
The incident, which unfolded several years ago, sent shockwaves through the community as news spread of the teenager’s untimely death. Caught in the crossfire of a high-speed police chase, he became an unintended victim of the pursuit, and his promising young life cut short in a moment of senseless violence.
For his grieving family, the pain of their loss has been immeasurable. The void left by his absence is palpable, and the anguish of his passing has cast a shadow over their lives that will never fully dissipate. Their quest for justice and accountability has been long and arduous, marked by countless legal hurdles and emotional turmoil.
The settlement reached with the city of Cleveland represents a measure of closure for the family, albeit at a heavy cost. While no amount of money can ever fully compensate for the loss of their beloved son, the financial settlement recognizes the city’s responsibility in the tragedy and provides some semblance of comfort to the grieving family.
However, the payout also underscores the broader issue of police pursuit policies and the need for greater accountability and oversight. High-speed chases, while intended to apprehend suspects, can often result in tragic consequences for innocent bystanders, as evidenced by this heartbreaking case. It is a sobering reminder of the inherent risks involved in such pursuits and the urgent need for law enforcement agencies to prioritize public safety.
As the community reflects on this tragic chapter, there is a renewed call for reform and change. Advocates argue for stricter guidelines governing police pursuits, emphasizing minimizing risks to bystanders and prioritizing alternative methods of apprehension whenever possible. This conversation must be had in Cleveland and communities across the country as we strive to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.
In the end, while the financial settlement may provide some measure of closure for the family of the teenager who lost his life, it cannot erase the pain of their loss or undo the damage caused by his untimely death. It is a sobering reminder of the human cost of recklessness and the need for greater vigilance and accountability in our pursuit of justice.
Drake brought out two hometown musicians in Machine Gun Kelly and Doe Boy as he hit up Cleveland, Ohio. The walkout marked the latest stop on the “It’s All A Blur – Big As The What?” Tour. However, some fans questioned where Kid Cudi, another Cleveland legend, was.
However, Kelly is a pretty good pull. The pop punk artist is famously proud of his hometown. Late last year, he appeared on Travis Kelce’s podcast and tried to get the tight end to return home. “I’m sure you get asked this question behind closed doors a lot, but I would be remiss if due to the nature of our friendship and just as a Clevelander if I did not insert this question personally. I will give you $500,000 cash upon arrival just for shopping or whatever you want. As well as matching that same amount as a donation to both of our high schools — both Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights — as well as everyday breakfast and coffee delivery from my restaurant, if you would just come home and put on these colors right here. Come on home, Trav! Come home, put these colors on and rock the city,” MGK said while calling into New Heights.
Meanwhile, Drake jokingly requested that the Canadian government annex the City of Buffalo to allow his friends living under travel restrictions to see him perform. “@canada can we make Buffalo a province for a day so my friends that can’t travel can come see me perform…just this one time,” Drake wrote on Instagram. The It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? Tour is scheduled to arrive in Buffalo next week. The tour, featuring Lil Durk and J. Cole, is an extension of the tour Drake did last year with 21 Savage.
Buffalo has long been used as “not Canada” by various entities. When COVID travel restrictions made it difficult for MLB teams to visit Toronto, the Blue Jays briefly relocated to their minor league affiliate in Buffalo for several games. Buffalo is a common tour stop for musicians due to its size and promixity to Canada. The city is around 28 miles from the Canadian border. However, the Canadian government has yet to respond to Drake’s request.

Kid Cudi won’t be hosting his inauguralMoon Man’s Landing Festivalthis year, unfortunately. The Cleveland-born rapper announced that he would be hosting his first-ever festival in his hometown. However, he’s faced a few setbacks in his attempt to set up shop. The rapper shared a statement on Twitter where he sadly informed fans of the news. “Got some bad news Im gonna have to cancel Moon Man’s Landing this year. I know u guys wanted an outdoor festival, and so did I, but the city wouldnt approve it,” he explained.
The “Porsche Topless” rapper then said that his attempt to host the Moon Man’s Landing Festival at an arena was met with further pushback from his fanbase. So, instead of trying to rush to host an event that would’ve likely crumbled due to rushed planning, Kid Cudi said that the festival will return next year. “And instead of cancelling the whole thing I decided to have it at the arena because I still wanted to bring something cool to the city, but I know u guys werent feelin it. Dont even trip!! Heres the good news. Im bringing the fest back next year, hopefully w some of the same line up and it will be in an outdoor venue,” he added.
Although the City of Cleveland wouldn’t approve of the festival and fans were reluctant to attend a festival at an arena, Kid Cudi remains optimistic. He explained that he’ll likely have to host the Moon Man’s Landing festival an hour outside of Cleveland. “I doubt the city will approve anything in the city, but Moon Man’s Landing is not dead! And we will find a better place for u all to have an epic time at,” he said.
Besides the upcoming festival, Kid Cudi is currently working on his forthcoming album,Insano. He hasn’t provided much information regarding the tracklist or the release date. Nonetheless, he feels that the project will be “the album of the year,” as he told fans on Instagram Live in March. Most recently, he backtracked on statements made to Zane Lowe about the project being his final opus before retiring. We’ll provide you with more information regarding the project and Moon Man’s Landing Festival.
