Today, it was revealed that Christian recording artist Mandisa has passed away at the age of 47. Her death was reported by Christian outlet K-LOVE this morning and has since been confirmed by reps on the late star’s official Twitter/X account. She was found deceased at her Nashville home yesterday (April 18). Her cause of death has not been revealed.

“We can confirm that yesterday Mandisa was found in her home deceased,” the post on Mandisa’s Twitter/X account reads. “At this time we do not know the cause of death or any further details. We ask for your prayers for her family and close knit circle of friends during this incredibly difficult time.”

Fans Mourn The Loss Of American Idol Star

Countless fans and peers are mourning the loss of the beloved performer, who rose to popularity after appearing on American Idol in 2005. The Citrus Heights, California-born singer made it to the top 10 on the show, releasing her debut album True Beauty two years later. The project and its lead single “Only the World” were a major success, topping Christian music charts and receiving critical acclaim. Her fifth studio album, Overcomer, later won her a Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2014. Jason Lee Believes Christian Keyes Allegations Will “Rock The Industry”

Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked and The Jason Lee Show fame recently commented on vague allegations made by actor Christian Keyes. For those unaware, this vagueness is not due to the heft of the sexual harassment allegations themselves, as they involve some significant detail. Rather, it’s because the 48-year-old did not name his alleged assailant, who is a “powerful man” within the entertainment industry. As such, many folks theorized online about who this could be, and many other celebrities spoke on the matter. As for Lee, he defended Keyes’ intentions and claimed that he knows who he’s talking about. With this in mind, he hinted at this being a massive story that will shake up a lot within the media.

“I know who Christian Keyes is talking about and baby this is going to rock the industry,” Jason Lee penned on his Twitter page on Saturday (December 16). “Networks, icons, black Hollywood– it’s a wrap if he speaks out. And he should. @ChristianKeyes has never been “messy” so don’t question his motives.” Perhaps this is something that the two will sit down to discuss in the near future, as Lee has never shied away from one-on-one interviews on heavy topics and drama.

Jason Lee’s Comments On Christian Keyes Allegations

As for the allegations themselves, Christian Keyes said that he’s tried to forgive his alleged assailant, but that it becomes difficult as he receives more acclaim. Not only that, but he showed a recording device on which he has various interactions with this person, which he plans give to authorities. “The wonderful thing about confidentiality agreements and non-disclosure agreements is that they can’t prevent you from turning all of those things over to the police,” Keyes shared. “Because sexual harassment is a crime, attempted sexual assault is a felony.” He also detailed rejecting this “powerful man” multiple times, and that he started carrying the recording device for protection.

“I was like, ‘I need to protect me. I’m saying no, and I don’t want this person, as powerful as they are, to try to get in the way of my work.’ So I started recording.” Specifically, the model said that the man offered him $100K to “take [his] clothes off,” tried to sleep with him, and more. Claudia Jordan was one of many celebrities to express support for him. “He told me some of this 15 years ago verbatim and said one day he was going to come forward. Lil Nas X Finds Surprise Ally In Christian Rapper Lecrae After He Defends Nas’ Controversial Comments

Last month, Lil Nas X took to Twitter and Instagram to share a tease of some brand-new music. Like much of what the rapper does, it eventually became controversial. This time the controversy spawned from Lil Nas claiming that he was entering his “Christian era” with his new music. That didn’t sit right with some Christians. The rapper famously drew the ire of many religious fans and critics when he used devil imagery in the music video for his song “MONTERO.”

Though Lil Nas X quickly responded to haters with a statement of his own. he’s now finding another surprising ally. Christian rapper Lecrae came to Lil Nas’ defense following the Christian era comment, sharing a statement to his YouTube channel. “I don’t like it when I see non-Christians being chastised with Christian belief. They don’t subscribe to what you describe to. So how can you challenge them with that? They don’t even subscribe to the same book. They don’t play the same game you play. So how are they breaking the rules?” he said in defense of the rapper. Later in the video, he asked fans not to judge Lil Nas for his past actions and even extended an invite to the rapper to explain himself on Lecrae’s platform. Lecrae Stands Up For Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X’s debut album MONTERO dropped in 2021 and he’s been pretty quiet since then. His most recent single “STAR WALKIN’” dropped last year as a collaboration with League Of Legends. The song wasn’t an instant hit but rose up the charts in late 2022 and now has more than 380 million streams on Spotify alone.

Last month, Lil Nas X began teasing his new era online. While he has shared some snippets it’s been pretty scant on actual details in terms of when fans can expect new music. Given how long he’s been absent and how quiet he’s been in the meantime many are hoping that a new Lil Nas album is on the horizon in 2024. Blac Chyna continues to conquer her spring cleaning list this year, though hers has far more to do with her body than it does her mansion. Over the past few weeks, the mother of two has been documenting her journey back to Angela White, which has involved several trips to the doctor’s office. To kick things off, she shared her experience of having her breast implants reduced and her silicone butt injections removed in a vulnerable video, accordingly encouraging viewers to think twice before getting any work of their own done.

“I just want all the ladies out there to know, do not get silicone shots. You can get sick, you can die, have complications, and all this other crazy stuff,” the reality star previously said. Following that, Chyna recorded her trip to the cosmetic nurse, where she had her facial fillers dissolved. In that video, she chiefly admitted to sometimes feeling abnormal with the injections in her face, even laughably comparing her face to Jigsaw from the Saw franchise.

Blac Chyna Says Bye Bye to Baphomet

While all of this obviously shows a tremendous amount of growth and healing on Chyna’s part, she didn’t stop there. On Sunday (March 26), the former OnlyFans creator posted a two-part documentary of her Baphomet tattoo removal, which she went to Las Vegas for. “‘I am releasing all negative energy that is holding me back,’” she wrote as an affirmation in the caption, giving her followers plenty of detail about the upcoming treatment and her travel plans.

In the second half of her journey, Blac Chyna gave viewers some information on the history behind her tattoo. “Thank you, God, for saving me,” she began. “I’m sending all this energy back to the owner. ALIAS: Satan, The Devil, Mahomet, Lilith, Goat of Lust, Azazel.” The 34-year-old explained that Baphomet’s occupations include “black magic, spiritual physiology, vast dark powers, immortality, reality-warping, corruption, mind-control, evil,” and more.
