Ne-Yo Keeps Trolling Critics Of His Trans Children Comments, Doesn’t Care

If you’ve caught up with pop culture gossip news in the past few days, you likely know that Ne-Yo’s sitting in a pool of hot water right now. Moreover, he recently made some comments criticizing transgender people, in particular parents who allow their children to transition at an early age. While the singer said that he “loves everyone,” his comments didn’t sit well with many people who understandably interpreted them as transphobic. However, he doubled down on them via an Instagram statement and video soon after, and now added another one to that affirmation. In it, the Arkansas-born artist walks around the house and lets an anti-hater audio clip play.

“Look at me,” the audio clip in Ne-Yo’s new video began. “What about me would make you think that I care about about your opinion of me? Your opinion of me is not the opinion that I have of myself. You ain’t make me, so you can’t break me. You didn’t build me, so you can’t kill me. Uh, you know what? God established me, so ain’t nothing you can do to me. I’ve been him!” “In case anybody was curious…” the R&B star wrote as the post’s caption.

Furthermore, his emphasized stance on these matters came after his publicist apparently posted an apology to his page, which he then backtracked immediately with another post. “Ok. This s**t is getting out of hand,” Ne-Yo expressed on IG. “FROM THE HORSE’S MOUTH. I WILL NOT BE BULLIED INTO APOLOGIZING FOR HAVING AN OPINION. AGREEING TO DISAGREE IS NOT A DECLARATION OF WAR.”

“My intention is never to offend anybody…but my opinion is MINE and I’m entitled to it,” he continued. “I don’t care what y’all do with yours. That’s YOURS. This is how I FEEL. If one of my 7 kids were to decide that [they] wanted to be something other than what they were born as, once they’re old enough and mature enough to make that decision…so be it. Not gonna love em’ any less. Daddy is still Daddy and he loves you regardless.” Let us know what you think of the 43-year-old’s views down below. Ne-Yo Poses With His 7 Children, Commenters Compare Him To Nick Cannon

Earlier today (July 7), Ne-Yo shared some photos on social media featuring him and his seven children. His post gave fans a rare glimpse at the artist’s family, as he’s rarely seen alongside all of his kids at once. Though several commenters raced to the comments section to dote on the father, others were critical of the size of his family. His post even sparked comparisons between him and Nick Cannon, who is famously a father of 12. Ne-Yo shares two children with his former fiancée Monyetta Shaw, Madilyn and Mason. He also has three children with his ex-wife Crystal Renay, Isabella, Shaffer, and Roman. He shares his two youngest children, Braiden and Brixton, with his ex Sade Bagnerise. Allegedly, he fathered his children with Bagnerise while still married to Renay, which she would later cite as the reason for their divorce.

“He trying to catch up with Eddie Murphy & Nick Cannon,” one Instagram user commented on the post. “Close to [Nick Cannon],” another notes alongside laughing emojis. One Twitter user chimed in to defend Ne-Yo. “People comparing him to Nick Cannon. Nick Cannon has 12 kids with six women, 9 of whom were born over a 3-year period. Nick is in his own league,” they wrote.

Ne-Yo Says He’s A “Father Before Anything Else”

Last month, Ne-Yo filed for joint custody of his two kids with Bagnerise. She agreed to allow Ne-Yo to gain partial custody of the children in exchange for child support payments. “He has always been physically, financially, and emotionally responsible for both Braiden and Brixton from the moment he found out about the first pregnancy,” Bagnerise later said about the singer. “He be scandalous AF lmao but he does right by all of his kids,” she added.

Although several users criticized the singer for choosing to have so many kids, others are just happy he’s making an effort to be a good father. “I’m a FATHER before I’m anything else,” Ne-Yo captioned his post, “Not money, not fame, not even the love of the craft. I do this for THEM.

NLE Choppa Refutes Allegations He’s A Deadbeat Dad

NLE Choppa took to his Instagram today to tell his followers that he isn’t a deadbeat dad. He made a post that included numerous pictures and videos of him with his daughter. The pair are seen hugging, going on a trip, and in one video Choppa’s daughter playfully slaps him. The caption clarifies why he made the post. “Deadbeat, Bad Dad, Awful Parent, Narcissistic Photo Dump 😃💜💜💜💜 I AM, NOT 🤲🏼.” His fans in the comments seemed to agree. Dozens of the post’s top comments identify their favorite moments, mostly the adorable slap. “why she slap the sh*t outta you😭,”says one commenter. “the slap n the “googoo gaga” is cute aslll,” says another.

NLE Choppa’s social media presence has gotten quite a bit of attention recently. Yesterday, he mused on following in the footsteps of artists like Dr. Dre and selling his musical catalog. While Choppa seemed to think he could sell his catalog for $1 billion, many fans disputed that number. The skeptics seemed to be proven right when Nelly, whose discography includes four number-one singles, sold for just $50 million earlier today.

NLE Choppa With His Daughter

All day today NLE Choppa has been battling fans on social media. Last night he posted a video showing his support for rapper Sexyy Red. The pair collaborated on a remix of Choppa’s hit song “Slut Me Out.” Despite him not mincing words in his endorsement of the breakout star, fans still took issue. In fact, comments left by fans critiquing his parenting are part of what led him to make the Instagram post with his daughter today.

NLE Choppa released his new album Cottonwood 2 earlier this year. The album featured guest verses from 2rare, Lil Wayne, Lola Brooke, Fivio Foreign, Kevin Gates, G Herbo, Rick Ross, and more. The album spawned a pretty big hit in the track “DO IT AGAIN” with 2rare. The deluxe edition of the album also included his Sexyy Red collaboration “Slut Me Out.” What do you think of NLE Choppa’s new videos with his daughter? Let us know in the comment section below.

Chrissy Teigen & John Legend Welcome 4th Child Via Surrogate

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their fourth child together, a son named Wren Alexander Stephens, earlier this month. The two made the announcement that their surrogate had given birth in an Instagram post on Wednesday. Stephens was born on June 19.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children,” Chrissy wrote in the post. “As a little girl, 2 glow worms and 2 cabbage patch dolls were perpetually in my arms, helping me stir in my kitchen, watching Alf with me. We’d sleep together nightly, each getting the same amount of kisses as to note make the others jealous.”

From there, she referenced her and Legend’s late son, Jack, who passed away as Teigen suffered a late pregnancy loss in 2020. Afterward, she revealed she would not be able to “carry any more babies” on her own.

“My mom always searched for the Pound Puppy with 4 pups in her pouch, having no qualms about opening and peeking inside before purchasing,” she continued. “After losing Jack, I didn’t think I’d be able to carry any more babies on my own. To be honest, I’ve personally blocked out a lot of my mindset during that time, but one clear memory is being surrounded by people who wanted to make sure I wouldn’t go through that pain and loss again.”

Teigen further explained that she and Legend reached out to a surrogacy agency in 2021. Eventually, they met a “compassionate surrogate” named Alexandra. “We ate hot pot to celebrate, watched Vanderpump Rules with our growing bellies, our families blending into one for the past year,” the 37-year-old continued. “Just minutes before midnight on June 19th, I got to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth amidst a bit of chaos, but with strength and pure joy and love.”

NBA YoungBoy Shares New Family Photo

NBA YoungBoy has taken to social media to share a new photo of him and his family. He’s pictured alongside his wife Jazlyn Mychelle, as well as their two children. The post comes amid YoungBoy recently claiming that he hates the mother of one of his kids, Yaya Mayweather. “Just gone grow thru the pain and be thankful #imblessed,” he captioned the new photo.

Although it’s unclear what “pain” YoungBoy is referring to in his post, a recent clip shows the rapper responding to a diss from John Gotti III’s sister. Nicolette Gotti had come after the mother of YoungBoy’s son KJ, who’s father recently boxed her brother. After the match went south, she hopped on social media to send a message to Floyd Mayweather. In the post, she also threatened Yaya and dissed YoungBoy. The vicious, seemingly racially-motivated attack didn’t appear to bother YoungBoy too much. He recently gave Gotti full permission to go after Yaya. He did defend his own name though, telling her the “next time you ever disrespect me, y’all ‘gone have to bomb me.”

NBA YoungBoy Says He’s “Thankful”

“@floydmayweather your daughter was ran through by a animal with 12 different baby mamas,” Gotti said following the boxing match. “Your little circus animal — [you’re] all a pack of zoo animals… I swear on my kids I’m coming for your daughter,” she added, “It may be two years, three years from now but I’m coming c**t.” “I hope you do that b***h the worse way,” YoungBoy responded. “Two three years from now. I don’t give a f**k it ain’t my business I hate that hoe,” he added, “And when it come to her daddy, that n***a don’t need to be in my mentions, I don’t f**k with him.” He also went on to tell Gotti that he idolizes her father, former mobster John A. Gotti.

The rapper returned to Instagram recently, after being absent for some time. He first returned with a photo of himself and his cat, sending an ominous message to those talking poorly about him while he was gone. Since his first post back, he’s also made an additional post calling out “F***ed up narratives” about his character.

Khloe Kardashian Had Son’s Name Changed

Khloe Kardashian and NBA star Tristan Thompson have two children together, a daughter True and a son Tatum. According to TMZ, their second child Tatum Thompson was originally known by an entirely different name. They reported that his last name was Kardashian and that he had a different first name, though it’s currently unclear what that was. Khloe’s decision seems like it can be explained by some of the drama that has followed her and Tristan over the years. The couple chose to have their second child via a surrogate. Sometime after that decision Thompson reportedly got model Maralee Nichols pregnant, which complicated things.

That story broke just a month before Tatum was born which helps explain Khloe Kardashian’s decision to pass her last name down to him. Since then, the relationship between Khloe and Tristan has reportedly improved resulting in a name change for their child. While the co-parents are yet to comment on the report it seems like Tatum Thompson will remain the child’s name going forward.

Despite the pair’s seemingly positive co-parenting strategy they don’t seem to have returned to being a couple. Last month a report dropped claiming the two are comfortably co-parenting but “not back together.” That story, which came from another TMZ report dispelled rumors that the pair were dating again after Thompson bought a house near Khloe. The move now seems to be more about their co-parenting arrangement and they’ve reportedly established a routine for sharing time with both children.

In an interview last month, Khloe Kardashian also opened up about the guilt she felt following the surrogate pregnancy. She described the whole undertaking as “transactional” and that she arrived at the hospital “in a state of shock.” Though she also defended the idea of surrogacy as an option for pregnancy as being “different, but not bad.” What do you think about Khloe and Tristan’s name-change drama? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kim Kardashian Thinks Kanye West’s Behavior Will Hurt Her Kids More Than Her Sex Tape

The third season of “The Kardashians” on Hulu’s first episode just gave us some compelling insight into one of the messiest pop culture splits in recent memory. More importantly, though, it illustrated just how heartbreaking it was for Kim Kardashian, who spoke to Kris Jenner of her fallout with longtime partner Kanye West. Furthermore, she reflected on how, despite all of his slanderous behavior and attacks towards her family, she could never relay that information to her children. Overall, it’s quite the tragic sentiment considering just how much she went through during the past few years at this point. Still, the SKIMS mogul is trying to keep her head above the water.

“There’s been a lot going on with Kanye right now,” Kim Kardashian said towards the end of the episode. “Things are going on in the media- radio shows and interviews. Even through all the craziness of everything that Kanye says about us, I never comment, I never post. He has made up the most insane narrative about [Kris] and the [sex] tape. We stay silent through all the lies, all the stuff.

Kim Kardashian On The Damaging Effects Of Ye’s Behavior

“I think at this point I just assume everything I text Kanye is going to be put on the Internet,” Kim continued. “I think I can handle anything, I just get really heartbroken for my mom, that she has to deal with so much. All of his shenanigans, I don’t even know what the f**k to call it, is going to be far more damaging to the kids one day, than my tape will ever be. And I have to sit here and not say anything, ever, because I know one day my kids will appreciate that. I will be his biggest cheerleader to them forever. One day, when they see for themselves, I’ll answer whatever they want me to, but it’s just… a lot.”

Of course, this is remarkable strength from the 42-year-old, even if media circulation makes it unlikely that their children won’t know this to some capacity. Still, such are the dangers of a public relationship in such an informed world. Regardless, they’ve at least been able to co-parent in a seemingly amicable way since then, so hopefully they’ve come to some sort of reconciliation, however distant it may be. For more news and the latest updates on both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, stick around on HNHH.

Nick Cannon Says Mariah Carey Makes Sure He Doesn’t His “Bullsh*t” Into Her Home

Nick Cannon says that he must be mindful not to bring any of his “bullshit” into his ex-wife Mariah Carey’s home. Cannon reflected on their relationship during a recent interview on The Jason Lee Show. The full interview will be available through REVOLT’s digital platforms on Tuesday, May 9.

“She’s high frequency, man. She always like — she asks me all the time, like, ‘You alright? How you doin’? You handling it all,” Cannon says in the interview. “She’s like, ‘as long as you don’t bring none of that bullsh*t over to the Manor of Carey.’” Cannon further added: “She lives in her own world. Nothing can infiltrate that. So, when we talk daily, she’s just checking on my spirit.”

Cannon and Carey were married from 2008 to 2016. Of Cannon’s twelve total kids, two of them are with the legendary singer. Having so many children with different women, Cannon often gets accused of being a “deadbeat dad.” This is a criticism he pushed back on during a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times.

“I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children.’ So therefore I get this deadbeat dad title,” Cannon told the outlet. He then explained that he pays $3 million dollars in child support, annually. To that effect, he says he earns upwards of $100 million per year, meaning he must be working harder than his haters think. “That’s not a lot of money. When you think about my lifestyle, I have to generate at least $100 million a year,” he shared. “Everybody thinks Ryan Seacrest has tons of money. I do everything that he does times 10. Well, not times 10 — times three. Because he does a lot.” In addition to serving as the host of Wild’ n Out and other shows, Cannon recently began filling in for Jamie Foxx on Beat Shazam amid the actor’s hospitalization.
