DeAndre Hopkins Hints At Prefering Chiefs & Bills As Trade Destinations

DeAndre Hopkins hinted at preferring the Chiefs and Bills as trade destinations during a new interview with CBS Sports’ Bryant McFadden on The Catch. While he didn’t vocalize his opinion, Hopkins displayed his thoughts on the matter with dramatic body language. He also seemed turned off by the idea of playing for either the Patriots or the Jets.

Hopkins also addressed his status in a tweet on Sunday. “Hopkins doesn’t want a raise,” he wrote in one post. The five-time Pro Bowler is set to earn $19.45 million in 2023, and $14.915 million in 2024.

One team that McFadden didn’t ask Hopkins about joining was the Baltimore Ravens. Reports from earlier this week alleged that Lamar Jackson requested his team go out and acquire Hopkins as well as Odell Beckham Jr. While they successfully signed OBJ, trading for Hopkins may prove more difficult. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler recently revealed on Sportscenter that he believes the Cardinals are seeking a “Christian McCaffrey package” in return for Hopkins.

“[The Baltimore Ravens] have at least looked around at the luxury shopping, high-end wide receiver market, whether it’s Hopkins or like Denver’s Courtland Sutton,” Fowler said. “Uncertain whether they would pull the trigger on that sort of price point right now because it’s very high. But Hopkins, the issue is the compensation. Talking to other teams, they say that Arizona has wanted a second-round pick and more, maybe even as high as like a Christian McCaffrey package. We’re talking second-, third-, fourth-round picks. They will probably have to come off that to deal Hopkins, who has got $19 million in salary due to him. So, you still have teams like the Bills and the Chiefs and big-ticket teams that are at least looking, window shopping at potential options at receiver.” Hopkins’ Cardinals teammate, Budda Baker, also reportedly requested a trade from the organization

Bengals’ Germaine Pratt Screams At Teammate Joseph Ossai For Late Game Mistake

Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt was caught on video screaming at his teammate, Joseph Ossai, for a critical late-game error during the team’s 23-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Conference Championship. Ossai drew a flag for unnecessary roughness after a late hit on Patrick Mahomes. The penalty put the Chiefs in a perfect position for a game-winning field goal.

“It’s my fucking last year. Why the fuck you touch the QB!?” Pratt yelled at Ossai while the team was walking back to the locker room.

Cowboys star linebacker responded to the clip on Twitter writing, “This lame asf!”

Later, Pratt clarified what he meant by it being his “last year.” He explained that this is the final season of his contract and, while he’d like to return, he’s not certain the team will want to resign him.

Despite Pratt’s outburst, many of Ossai’s other teammates were more supportive. Quarterback Joe Burrow emphasized that one play doesn’t determine an entire game.

“There were a lot of plays other than that that could have turned the tide in that game and won us that game,” Burrow told reporters. “So that’s not the only one.”

Ossai expressed gratitude for the teammates that had his back.

“It means the world to me,” he said. “These guys mean a lot to me. We come every day and we work hard for each other, and to know that they have my back — it’s giving me peace right now.”

Travis Kelce Slams Cincinnati Mayor After Chiefs Win: “Shut Your Mouth”

Travis Kelce went after Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval following the Kansas City Chiefs’ 23-20 win over the Bengals in the AFC Conference Championship. Pureval had taunted Patrick Mahomes in a viral tweet implying Joe Burrow is the star quarterback’s father.

“Know your role and shut your mouth, you jabroni,” Kelce said to the Mayor after the win.

“Joseph Lee Burrow.. who’s 3-0 against Mahomes has been asked by officials to take a paternity test.. to confirm whether or not he’s his father,” Pureval said in his video post.

He followed up with an apology tweet, further writing, “Bengals nation, LOL. I hear you. My competitive juices and love for Cincy got the best of me. My bad. Staying hungry and humble. See You Sunday. Who Dey Baby!”

Kelce also referenced the “Burrowhead Stadium” jokes that have been going viral over the last week. The name is referring to Joe Burrow’s previously perfect 3-0 record against the Chiefs.

“Burrowhead my ass!” Kelce exclaimed, before adding, “Wooooooo! It’s Mahomes’ house!”

Mahomes also addressed jokes about Burrow’s success in Arrowhead Stadium.

“This team, man, we played together,” Mahomes said after the win. “I said it from the beginning, when we were in the locker room, I said we got to be together. And this team stepped up against a great football team, and we showed this place, it’s Arrowhead, it’s not Burrowhead out here.”

Kelce, Mahomes, and the rest of the Chiefs will now take on the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII. Kickoff is set for February 12.

Chiefs Fan “Chiefsaholic” Gets Caught Robbing Banks To Fund His Fandom

If you are a Chiefs fan who likes to follow the game on Twitter, then you might know of Chiefsaholic. He is a prominent Kansas City Chiefs supporter who shows up to nearly every game, either home or away. Additionally, he wears a wolf costume while doing so, which makes him stand out.

Overall, this must cost him a whole lot of money. After all, tickets are not cheap and the airfare to go to each game isn’t either. Having said that, it seems as though Chiefsaholic was funding his Chiefs obsession through nefarious means.

Chiefs Fan Robs Banks

The fan, whose real name is Xavier Michael Babudar, was arrested in Bixby, Oklahoma last weekend. According to Sports Illustrated, this is because Babudar robbed a bank. Last Friday, he was subsequently charged with armed robbery, wearing a mask in commission of a felony, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, and threatening a violent act.

Following this shocking news, many Chiefs fans took to Twitter to make jokes and memes about the whole situation. Needless to say, people cannot believe what is happening here, and understandably so. Overall, it is shocking to think a fan would go through this trouble just for some tickets.

It is believed that this is not the first time the fan has done this to obtain some money. However, Bixby, Oklahoma was the first time he was actually caught and arrested.

As it stands, this is a developing story so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the football world. Additionally, let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments down below.
