According to Ian Rapaport, Hopkins will be traded to the Chiefs for a 5th-round pick that can become a 4th. Additional details are unknown. The Chiefs will take on the Las Vegas Raiders this Sunday.

He is currently jailed on a $1 million bond and doesn’t have an attorney. “Everyone we’ve identified who discharged a firearm in response to the verbal altercation detailed here has been taken into custody,” Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney Jean Peters Baker said in a statement.

Unsealed documents showed that investigators concluded that at least a dozen weapons had brandished firearms. Additionally, at least half a dozen had opened fire at the event. One person was killed and over 20 were injured, including 11 children. Meanwhile, the shooting occurred just minutes after members of the Chiefs squad had left the stage. Furthermore, Badudar was accused of laundering the ill-gotten money through casinos. The 29-year-old faces a maximum of 50 years in prison, must pay over $500,000 in restitution, and surrender any property purchased with the stolen money.

After a little internet sleuthing, armchair detectives discovered that ChiefsAholic, real name Xaviar Badudar, had been arrested on the way to the game. Why? Well, turns out he was a suspect in a bank robbery in Oklahoma. Subsequently, he was released on a $20,000 bail. Furthermore, he was given an ankle monitor and scheduled for arraignment in March 2023. He promptly skipped town, was added to the state’s most wanted list, and eventually arrested.
