BLEU is looking forward to assisting the next generation of musicians, revealing the progress of his forthcoming music academy, Moon Boy University.

Hitting Instagram, BLEU highlighted the construction site and revealed the university will be open in January.

“Moon Boy University otw,” Bleu wrote. “This January! Facility for all my Moon Boy University producers, My artist, video production team etc . Top of the year gone be some amazing shit getting done I promise.”

BLEU added, “Studio , conference room . Video/Movie production room im even gonna start inviting young upcoming producers doing classes etc ! I’m so excited about this.”

Earlier this summer, BLEU let the industry in on what working with Drake can do for you. BLEU’s single “You’re Mines Still” was one of the biggest singles of 2020, and it not only plugged the young star with a deal but a substantial paycheck.

BLEU pulled up on DJ Akademiks’ Off The Record podcast and spoke about how the Drake-featured single threw him into a different tax bracket when it came to label negotiations.

Prior to the release of the remix, BLEU had secured a couple of independent deals with EMPIRE. After it was released, the price for his musical services flew up, along with his status on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Just to put it into perspective, as soon as the Drake record dropped, I was having bidding wars between $8 and $9 million,” BLEU told Ak.

He would reveal that led to his loyalty with EMPIRe because they doubled back to deliver more money, citing “a major label’s not finna do that.”

The award-winning recording artist and wife, Amber Najm, announced Wednesday (May 11) via social media that the inaugural Wiscansin Fest will debut June 11 in Milwaukee at Rave.

The “Buy U A Drank” creator, who has been building up anticipation for the first-ever festival with a 19-city “The Road to Wiscansin Tour,” names a 17 acts line-up with the announcement that includes chart-topping superstars and longtime collaborators of the Tallahassee native, featuring Lil Jon, O.T. Genasis, Bleu (Formerly Yung Bleu), K Camp, and Hannibal Buress with a DJ-set as the moniker Eshu Tune.

“The first of its kind @nappyboyentertainment presents a line up that I hand picked myself,” T-Pain wrote with celebration emojis in the Instagram caption with a photo of the Festival flyer. “This one means so much to me. Go get your tickets link in my bio before they sell out. See you on June 11th in the only place that felt right- Milwaukee, WISCANSIN.”

The word “Wiscansin” originates from T-Pain’s verse on the 2008 classic “Can’t Believe It” featuring Lil Wayne from his gold-selling third album, Three Ringz (Jive). T-Pain changed the pronunciation of the state, Wisconsin, to “Wiscansin” to make a rhyme with “mansion. The success of “Can’t Believe It” spawned a remix with Justin Timberlake. In 2018, T-Pain launched a collegiate-themed apparel line, Wiscansin University, inspired by the word.

Kanye West Reunites With ‘Donda’ Standout Vory On The Dream Chasers Rapper’s Debut Album

Of all the artists who were featured on Kanye West’s new album Donda, one of the standouts was Dream Chasers rapper Vory. The Meek Mill-associated artist featured on a number of the album’s songs, including “God Breathed,” “Jonah,” and “No Child Left Behind.” The project turned out to be a watershed moment for the rising star, who now turns his attention to his own debut album — which has turned out to be just as star-studded as Kanye’s.

According to a text screenshot he posted on his Instagram, his upcoming project will reunite him with Kanye West, as well as connect him with trap rap man of the hour Gunna, whose own new album DS4EVER recently debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200. Other rappers involved will include the emergent Landstrip Chip, Toronto hitmaker Nav, and Mobile, Alabama crooner Yung Bleu, as well as newcomers Beam and Rockford, Illinois battle rapper Fresco.

Before taking off thanks to his appearances on Donda, Vory put in major work behind the scenes, writing alongside Bryon Tiller, Drake, and The Carters‘ Jay-Z and Beyonce, while working on refining his own records. He signed to Dream Chasers in 2020 before putting out a self-titled EP showing off his polished pen. He was also featured on Meek Mill’s 2021 album, Expensive Pain. Vory’s debut will be out sometime this year.
