Quality Control CEO Pierre “P” Thomas sure knows how to throw an unforgettable party, especially when it comes to celebrating his loved ones. Over the weekend, he pulled out all the stops once again to celebrate his daughter Journey’s 16th birthday. And the night looked nothing short of spectacular.

The star-studded bash was a sight to behold. Held in an Atlanta venue with lavish pink and carnival-themed decorations, it was clear that no expense was spared in creating a truly magical atmosphere. But the icing on the cake was the surprise Pierre Thomas had in store for his daughter Journey. As the night came to an end, guests witnessed a heartfelt moment when not one, not two, but three luxury Mercedes Benz cars were unveiled outside the venue. A massive pink sign posed the question, “Which one is your choice?”

Pierre Thomas shared the moment on his social media. It’s clear to see the sheer joy and tears of happiness as Journey made the difficult choice in deciding which car to pick. Additionally, Journey was treated to a special performance by none other than Quality Control signees. Lil Baby and Lil Yachty graced the stage with their music and the crowd definitely looked lit. The two performed their popular hit records. This extravagant birthday celebration is not the first of its kind for P. He has a reputation for hosting legendary birthday bashes, such as his annual “Black Ball” in Atlanta. This black-tie affair has become synonymous with elegance and celebrity attendance.

With a guest list that often includes top-tier stars like Quavo, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, and many more, it’s no wonder that P’s birthday parties are the talk of the town every year. Pierre Thomas has a history of giving lavish gifts, too. In 2019, he made headlines by surprising City Girls rapper JT with a brand new car for her birthday. His generosity knows no bounds. Consequently, it’s clear that he enjoys making those he cares about feel truly special on their big days. Travis Scott Sings “Happy Birthday” To Dave Chappelle: Watch

Travis Scott has been celebrating a lot of success as it pertains to his new album, Utopia. Overall, the project has sold a ton of units and is likely going to be certified platinum very soon. There were some huge features on the album and some great tracks at that. Although it may not be his best, it is definitely a project to be proud of. Having said that, in the wake of the album’s release, it has felt like Scott has been everywhere. He is always popping out at shows and clubs, leading to lots of fanfare.

In fact, last night, Scott was in New York City for the Dave Chappelle 50th birthday bash. There were tons of comedians at the event, including the likes of Aziz Ansari, Jeff Ross, George Wallace, and a whole lot more. Travis has worked with Chappelle in the past, particularly on the song “Parasail.” This track is an interlude of sorts on Utopia that also features Yung Lean. While at this celebration, it seems like Travis said thank you through song. Below, you can see a clip in which he sings “Happy Birthday” to the comedian.

Overall, it was a pretty nice gesture from Travis. After all, it is rare that you are able to get someone like Dave Chappelle on your album. As the clip portrays, the entire crowd was singing along with Travis Scott. There were times when he decided to stop singing so that the crowd could carry the torch. Chappelle seemed to be amused by the whole ordeal, although he did seem to be a tad bit shy about it.

As for what’s next for Travis Scott, well, it seems like a tour is in the cards. The Circus Maximus tour is supposed to take place soon. Over the weekend, music and fashion mogul Kanye West celebrated his 46th birthday with a party in Los Angeles, which one would expect to bring out droves of celebrities. At this intimately private event, the excitement stirred around how the food was being served.

Nyotaimori, which is a Japanese tradition of serving food off a person’s naked body, was the centerpiece of the night, with several food platters resting atop the breasts, crotch and legs of a nude female model. The practice has recently attracted staunch criticism from feminist groups.

A chef could be seen assorting the platters of sushi for the party’s guests while attendees vibed to ‘Ye’s “Come To Life” tack from his critically acclaimed Donda LP.

While people criticized West’s decision to have his 9-year-old daughter North West attend the festivities, Dad made sure his daughter was preoccupied with family duties, like filming him while he raps the lyrics to “Off The Grid”.

Other notables who were in attendance include Kanye’s wife Bianca Censori, fellow artists Freddie Gibbs, Ty Dolla $ign, Chloe Bailey, and long-time friends GLC and John Monopoly.
