Earlier this week, Bill Nye took to social media to unveil his list of top songs of the year from his Spotify Wrapped. Among the engineer’s favorite tracks of 2023 were SZA’s “Kill Bill” and Taylor Swift’s “Karma.” Stealing the No. 1 spot, however, was the theme song to his own show, Bill Nye The Science Guy.

It’s no secret that Nye is a SZA fan, as the two of them were previously spotted in a photo together, which made its rounds online a couple of years back. It even ended up sparking some faux dating rumors, though he’s happily married. Regardless, he’s obviously jammed to “Kill Bill” quite a lot this year based on his Spotify Wrapped.

Bill Nye Unveils His Spotify Wrapped

While it may come as a surprise to some, it seems that nearly nobody can resist the catchy SOS track. He’s not the only one shocking fans with his taste in music, however. SZA recently came through with a few of her own unexpected musical favorites as well. She chatted with Variety earlier this week, revealing that she’s a huge fan of Creed and Nickelback. According to her, they definitely don’t deserve all the hate they receive.

“I like Creed so much — ‘Higher’? Why are you hating on it? Have you ever felt more inspired and uplifted in your life?” she wondered. “I’m in the car and I’m blasting ‘Higher,’ I feel like it’s a gospel song, the vocals are going cr*zy and it’s also somehow slightly romantic, it just feels so fun. Because even if it’s cliche, he’s so f*cking dead a**! I will be a Creed fan forever. Like, it started just on a whim in the shower, ‘Oh, let’s play this,’ and then it became a week of Creed and Nickelback.” What do you think of Bill Nye’s top songs of the year? Despite his age, he still maintains an enormous fan base who lean on him to learn more about science. His ability to break down complicated topics in a way that kids understand is unmatched. In the recent Blue Jacket Fashion Show in February, Bill Nye made his presence known as he attended. At the time of the show, people were not making too much of a fuss. However, a video has recently come out showing the senior scientist dancing to a song by Key Glock. Because of his age and profession, fans are finding it humorous to see that he was so into hip-hop music. But the song Bill is dancing to does make a lot of sense for who he is. In a now-viral video, Bill is seen getting down to Key Glock’s song “Chromosomes.”

Bill attended the show wearing a dashing blue suit and patterned bowtie. The TV personality has always been known for having a goofy and charming side. But despite this knowledge, his fans are always tickled to see him interacting with modern hip-hop culture. In recent years, Bill Nye has separated himself from his child-friendly persona quite a bit. His original show ended in 1998, but he came back to TV in the late 2010s with a much more adult approach. Now he has fans of all ages who can’t help but love him.

But his appearance at the fashion show is not the first time audiences were able to see him dance. In fact, in 2013, Bill Nye took part in the 17th season of Dancing With the Stars. He had to retire from the show, however, after injuring himself during one of the dances. Nevertheless, fans were ecstatic to see his revival. Justin Bieber And Jack Harlow Are Joining Bill Nye The Science Guy For An Earth Day Musical

Earth Day is right around the corner and as the climate change crisis persists, it’s more important than ever to raise awareness about environmentalism. That’s why iconic TV host Bill Nye The Science Guy has tapped several musicians including Justin Bieber and Jack Harlow to join him in an Earth Day-themed musical.

Earth Day! The Musical takes place on April 22 and follows Nye as he and a handful of celebrities and activists share information about how individuals can do their part to help curb the effects of climate change. Other celebrities slated to join Bieber, Harlow, and Nye include Maluma, Ben Platt, Charli and Dixie D’Amelio, Cody Simpson, Steve Aoki, Tori Kelly, Zac Efron, Desus Nice and The Kid Mero, and Nick Kroll.

The event will stream on Facebook and also showcase the important work of several entrepreneurs trying to make the world a better place. CEO Alexia Akbay will highlight their Hawaii-based company Symbrosia, which uses seaweed to reduce livestock methane, and 18-year-old Jerome Foster II will discuss how he became the youngest member of the Biden White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council.
