Midwxst Is Gearing Up For His “BACK IN ACTION” Series With Blistering “GUN SMOKE”

Midwxst is going to be BACK IN ACTION for a fourth time sometime this year. If you are not familiar, the Indiana rapper and singer has this longstanding series of EPs that dates back to 2021. Unfortunately, the last time fans got a hold of one of these tapes was back in 2022 with 3.0. Furthermore, there was even a point where midwxst was looking to axe the series at three. Thankfully, the 21-year-old genre chameleon decided to keep it going in February of this year, according to Genius. People are still waiting for the exact release date as of now. So, to tide people over midwxst has a new single from it for us called “GUN SMOKE”.

Overall, there are three promotional tracks from BACK IN ACTION 4.0. “FIRE” with fellow emo MC DC The Don was the inaugural track, dropping back in early April. Then, fans would be treated to “E30”, a rage-esque cut which midwxst explores quite often. So, “GUN SMOKE” brings our current total to three, and hopefully it will be the last preview before the hopeful release in July. “GUN SMOKE” is another turnt song, as it sees midwxst perform his heart out over ear-deafening bass. It is the rapper in his most aggressive state, and it figures to be a hit on the project.

During Netflix’s Upfronts presentation in New York, Foxx spoke about reuniting with Diaz, saying, “A lot of people don’t know this, but after Cameron and I did ‘Any Given Sunday’ and ‘Annie’ together, we became friends in real life — and I’ve been begging her to come play with me again. We all know there’s just something about her…” Diaz added, “I couldn’t have asked for a better partner, on-screen and off.”

Directed by Seth Gordon, who co-wrote the script with Brendan O’Brien, the film is produced by Jenno Topping, Peter Chernin, and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett for Chernin Entertainment; Beau Bauman for Good One Productions; and Seth Gordon for Exhibit A. Jamie Foxx Reportedly “Awake & Alert” At Georgia Hospital

Following a distressing and shocking medical emergency, recent reports indicate that Jamie Foxx is steadily improving at a Georgia hospital. In fact, close sources shared to People that the actor is “awake and alert” as doctors continue to run tests and monitor his state. Moreover, Martin Lawrence also said that his health is on an upward trend towards healing and wished his family the best. Of course, this doesn’t mean that Foxx is out of the woods yet, but it’s a heartening update on his situation. Fans around the world expressed concern for his emergency, especially as some reports indicated that it could’ve been a much more tragic affair.

Fortunately, most updates since the news of his hospitalization broke reported that he was getting much better. Also, even since the news broke, his family let fans know that his rapid transportation to a medical facility meant prompt healing. “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne Foxx shared on Instagram. “Luckily, due to quick action and great case, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”

Jamie Foxx Is “Awake & Alert” According To New Reports

After Jamie Foxx wound up in the hospital, millions of fans sent an outpour of sympathy and support, including celebrities. For example, LeBron James took to Twitter to share a message to the Collateral star. “Sending my thoughts and prayers to the heavens above to my brother @iamjamiefoxx!!!! Get well and back to yourself SOONER THAN LATER! God willing.” For those unaware, Foxx was in Georgia fill-in the action-comedy flick Back In Action. Unfortunately, it faced many production issues before this much larger emergency.

Even though he’s still hospitalized, more reports indicate not just recovery in the medical center, but recovery on set. During Foxx’s treatment, his stunt double has reportedly been contributing to scenes in his film where he can, so the production is still underway. While that might not fix things completely, at least we’ve gotten mostly positive signs that the 55-year-old pop culture legend will be back soon. On that note, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Jamie Foxx.

Jamie Foxx Will Be A Busy Man Following His Hospitalization

Jamie Foxx was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after suffering from what has been described as a “medical emergency”. While the nature of the emergency was not initially specified, social media rumors report that Foxx suffered a stroke. However, his daughter assured fans that her father was recovering and had been able to communicate with his family and medical professionals.

Foxx had been filming the Netflix action-comedy Back In Action at the time of his hospitalization. Little is known about the film, which is being directed by documentarian Seth Gordon (Fistful of Quarters, Freakonomics). However, it marks the first on-screen appearance by Cameron Diaz since 2014’s Annie. Diaz, who stepped away from acting to focus on her family, was persuaded to take the role by Foxx. This is the film to feature the pair as co-stars, following Any Given Sunday and Annie. However, the film has not had a smooth production. Filming suffered numerous weather delays on location in London. Meanwhile, Foxx was allegedly the target of a $40,000 scam while on set. His medical issues are just the latest obstacle in what is quickly becoming a cursed production.

Foxx Still Has Eight Days Of Filming

According to sources who spoke to TMZ, chaos has befallen the Back In Action set since Foxx’s hospitalization. Foxx reportedly has eight days left of filming to complete before production can wrap. However, despite Foxx still being in the hospital, TMZ were told that the production team is confident that they will be able to wrap on schedule next week. That would be a miraculous feat, given there is no timetable for Foxx’s release from the hospital.

So how do you finish a film with your star in hospital and eight days of footage featuring him left to shoot? TMZ was unable to get an answer but a few possibilities exist. First, the script could be rewritten in order to re-structure scenes as so to mitigate the use of Foxx. This could include removing him entirely or structuring things in a way where a body double or stand-in could be used. Filming resumed with the use of a stand-in on Thursday, according to PEOPLE. A more drastic route could see entire scenes be cut because they cannot be done without Foxx present. While Foxx is reportedly recovering, his sudden illness has thrown his latest project into uncertainty.
