Cam Newton’s Assailants Speak About How Viral Throwdown Started

Cam Newton was able to fend of two grown men in a wild outburst that went viral over the weekend. It all went down at a 7-on-7 youth football tournament in Atlanta, Georgia. It sent the internet into a frenzy as everyone was giving their reactions while praising the ex-NFL quarterback for how he handled the situation. Things could have gotten ugly really quick if he decided to throw a punch or slam someone to the ground. Now, just days after the altercation Cam Newton’s assailants are speaking out about their side of the story.

The two gentlemen are actually brothers, and they went on a podcast to reveal how this all escalated. According to them, Cam Newton was the instigator in all of this. He was saying things like “I made y’all,” and “I’m responsible for everything y’all do.” After that, Cam allegedly grabbed Steph, the younger brother to the man with the dreads in the video below. That is when he stepped into action and what led to them all getting handsy with one another.

However, another video was dug up on Twitter of the older brother talking trash to Cam Newton before the fight. In the short audio clip he says, “Non-throwing a** Atlanta hero quarterback cannot beat me.” After hearing their side it seems the yapping got a little too personal for some and it led to them stepping up to each other. It is worth noting that Cam loved to get in players’ heads during games, just look at this clip above. It will be interesting to see how he responds to the brothers’ claims.

Alleged 6ix9ine Attacker Has Charges Dropped

If you have been following the news over the past month or so, then you know that 6ix9ine was attacked at an LA Fitness in Florida. Overall, this incident took place about a month ago. Subsequently, the artist has gone on a massive run that has included two new songs. Moreover, he has one more track on the way and it seems like he has shifted over to Latin music. As for the attack, well, three men were arrested for their alleged involvement back on March 30th. Those men were Rafael Medina Jr., Octavious Medina, and Anthony Maldonado.

Consequently, they were hit with assault and robbery charges. From there, a GoFundMe was started for one of the alleged assailants. Needless to say, there was a lot of fanfare around this case. Overall, this is mostly because of just how hated 6ix9ine is. Some fans went so far as to applaud his alleged attackers. However, being in jail on assault and robbery charges truly is no place to be. Although, there is now an update in the case that bodes well for one of the men who was initially arrested.

Anthony Maldonaldo Is Free

According to new jail documents that were posted on the No Jumper Instagram account, Anthony Maldonaldo has been released. Moreover, the charges have been fully dropped. However, it is important to note that the other two alleged assailants are still facing charges. Moreover, they are both still in jail. The case was disposed of as of April 24th, which means Maldonaldo has been free for a couple of days now. Either way, this isn’t exactly a win for 6ix9ine. Although, he is probably focused on other things right now, such as his next song.

This is a case that still has plenty of moving parts to it. If the charges continue on with the other two alleged attackers, then a trial could soon follow. 6ix9ine Update: Alleged Attackers Arrested & Charged

Just a couple of weeks ago, infamous rapper 6ix9ine was viciously beaten at an LA Fitness in Florida. Overall, the attack seemed pretty random as the men behind it didn’t seem to actually have any real beef with the rapper. Instead, it appeared as though the rainbow-haired rapper was just a victim of his own notoriety. One second he was on the Stairmaster, and the next, he was being beaten down in a bathroom. After the beating, 6ix9ine was subsequently taken to the hospital where his face was treated for various wounds.

Since that time, the rapper has been enjoying his time in Cuba. Moreover, he has been teasing some music, which is good news for his fans. As for his three alleged attackers, the police had been on the hunt for them. There were various camera angles of the men entering the gym prior to the attach. Additionally, the attackers took their own video for social media, which only added to the evidence pile. Now, it appears as though the alleged attackers are in a Palm Beach County jail.

6ix9ine Seemingly Gets Justice

In a report from WPTV, it was revealed that Rafael Medina Jr., Octavious Media, and Anthony Maldonado were all arrested and charged with assault and robbery. All three of their mugshots can be seen in the tweet above, from @mymixtapez. Overall, these three are presumed to be the alleged attackers. However, they will get to present their respective cases in court today, as they are all expected to face a judge. At this point, it remains to be seen how the proceedings will go down.

As for 6ix9ine, he has yet to react to this news. Considering he is vacationing in Cuba, there is a slight chance that he doesn’t even know what is happening. Although, we are sure Akademiks would be one of the first ones to text him about it. Additionally, do not expect 6ix9ine to bolster his security.
