Donald Trump Unharmed After Gunshots Fired In His Vacinity

Donald Trump is safe and unharmed after gunshots were fired near him at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, around 2:00 PM on Sunday. He had been walking between the fifth and sixth holes when the shots were fired. Fox News is reporting that Secret Service members opened fire after spotting a man with an AK-47 in nearby bushes. Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Teri Barbera says a “person of interest” is already in police custody.

“The former president is safe. We will have more details soon,” Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement. Trump also reportedly told Fox News host Bret Baier: “Tell everybody I am fine and the Secret Service did a great job.” The FBI has confirmed the organization “is investigating what appears to be an attempted assassination” of former President Donald Trump, according to CNN.

Donald Trump’s Physician Details The Injuries He Sustained During Assassination Attempt

Donald Trump has released a statement from Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), who served as the former President’s physician. In the statement, Jackson described him as “doing well” in the time since he survived an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, last weekend. While speaking at a rally in the state, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired several shots in his direction, nicking his ear with one of the bullets.

“The bullet passed, coming less than a quarter of an inch from entering his head, and struck the top of his right ear,” Jackson wrote in the statement. “There was initially significant bleeding, followed by marked swelling of the entire upper ear. The swelling has since resolved, and the wound is beginning to granulate and heal properly. Based on the highly vascular nature of the ear, there is still intermittent bleeding requiring a dressing to be in place. Given the broad and blunt nature of the wound itself, no sutures were required.”

Kodak Black Slams Plies Over Donald Trump Slander In Wake Of Assassination Attempt

Kodak Black called out Plies on Instagram Live, earlier this week, after Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Kodak, who has backed the former President ever since he pardoned him for gun charges back in 2021, warned Plies to stop speaking out about Trump. “We ain’t going for no Trump slander,” Kodak remarked after bringing up Plies. “Trump ain’t done nothing to you. You feel me? You rich. We rich.” Plies has been highly critical of the Republican candidate for years at this point.

When No Jumper posted the clip on Instagram, hip-hop fans had mixed responses to Kodak’s take. One defended him for staying loyal to Trump. “Ngl if a n***a free me from prison u my dawg for life,” they wrote. Another praised Plies for speaking up: “Plies get so much respect from me he’s not voting for the guy that’ll feed his interest since he’s a millionaire he’s voting for the best interests of his people who don’t got it and who’s policies aren’t aligned with the republican agenda.”
