When Will Chief Keef’s New Album ‘Almighty So 2’ Be On Apple Music?

When we last heard about Chief Keef’s fifth studio album, Almighty So 2, the “I Don’t Like” rapper was aiming for a spring 2023 release date. However, Keef clearly felt that the album still wasn’t quite ready — despite having been in the works for nearly five years at the time — and again delayed the release. This week, though, he not only gave fans a solid release date, but he also announced it with a dramatic trailer, which you can watch above. So, when can you finally give Almighty So 2 a stream on Apple Music (or the DSP of your choice)?

Well, Almighty So 2 is due on Friday, May 10 via Keef’s independent label 43B. That means it will most likely be available to stream at midnight Eastern (9 PM Pacific). One of the benefits of being independent means that Keef has more flexibility to set release dates — hence the long wait for the album’s release — but it also means that the veteran rapper has dotted all his “i”s and crossed all his “t”s if he’s finally determined the album is ready to put out.

Almighty So 2 is due on 5/10 and will feature G Herbo, Lil Gnar, Quavo, Sexyy Red, and Tierra Whack, with production from Mike Will Made It. You can find more info here.

Kendrick Lamar & Drake’s Rap Beef Overshadows Taylor Swift On Apple Music Charts

Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s explosive rap beef has taken over the internet in recent days, as well as the charts. The heated feud reached a peak on Friday night when Drizzy dropped “Family Matters,” accusing Kendrick of domestic violence, claiming that his fiancée might have a child with Dave Free, and more.

Less than an hour later, Kendrick fired back with “Meet The Grahams,” addressing several of Drake’s family members directly, starting with his son Adonis. Moreover, he states in the song that he thinks Drake should “die,” or at the very least, rot in prison. This took the battle up quite a few notches. Nearly everyone has picked a side in the viral debacle, though many are just happy to have gotten some new music out of it.

Kendrick Lamar & Drake Top The Charts Amid Viral Feud

Kendrick’s “Not Like Us,” for example, currently sits atop Apple Music’s Top Songs chart. Coming in right below that is “Euphoria,” his initial response to Drake’s “Push Ups,” which sits at No. 9. Drake’s “Family Matters,” and Kendrick’s “Like That” collab with Future and Metro Boomin are at fourth and fifth. Clearly, hip-hop fans have been tuned in amid the back and forth, which has only grown more contentious over time. So much so that they’ve even kicked Taylor Swift out of the top five altogether. The pop icon is known to dominate the charts with nearly everything she puts out, making her pretty tough to beat. Her Tortured Poets Department song with Post Malone, “Fortnight,” now sits at No. 9.

What do you think of Drake and Kendrick Lamar taking over Apple Music charts with their diss tracks? Are you surprised they were able to kick Taylor Swift out of the top five? Who do you think came out on top amid their viral beef? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

When Will 4Batz’s New Mixtape ‘U Made Me A St4r’ Be On Apple Music?

4Batz, the mysterious newcomer who somehow secured a Drake feature before most people had ever even seen his face, is releasing his debut mixtape U Made Me A St4r this week after pushing it back early last month. It will be many fans’ first opportunity to learn about the semi-obscure character through the best avenue to do so: his music. So…

When Will 4Batz’s New Mixtape U Made Me A St4r Be On Apple Music?

With a release date of May 3, U Made Me A St4r should be available on DSPs like Apple Music in just a few hours from this writing, at 9 PM Pacific time, or midnight, if you live on the east coast. Thanks to recent snafus involving fellow alleged Drake collaborator Bfp Da Packman and early cosigner Kanye West, we can never be 100 percent sure that an album is hitting streaming on schedule, but 4Batz has maintained a pretty professional rollout so far, so there’s no obvious reason to believe he’ll miss his release date.

In Uproxx’s February interview with the nascent star, he said, “I would like to be remembered as the biggest artist in the world and one of the most humble people in the world who gave back and inspired people, and who you know was talented.” We’ll get our first chance to find out just how talented he is on 5/3.

On April 1, PartyNextDoor shocked the world when he revealed the cover art for his upcoming album, P4 (short for PartyNextDoor 4). The cover, which featured a photo of a nude woman kneeling from behind in a pose suggesting an intimate moment between lovers, made some fans wonder online if it was an April Fool’s joke. But in the weeks since, Party has stuck to his guns as he released a trickle of new music, including the single “Real Woman.” So…

When Can You Play PartyNextDoor’s New Album P4 On Apple Music?

P4 is out 4/26 via OVO Sound / Warner Records. That means it’ll most likely hit streaming platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal at midnight, eastern time (which is 9 PM pacific).

The album will be the Canadian R&B singer’s fourth studio album and his first in four years following the release of PartyMobile in 2020. He previously explained the delay as the result of a relationship. Naturally, that means fan anticipation is high; in Wongo Okon’s latest feature for Uproxx, he lists four wishes for the new album, including “a new album cover.” Fans are also looking forward to a new Drake collaboration; Party’s prior connections with his OVO boss have become fan favorites, so there’s a tradition to live up to.

We’ll see if the album does so in a few hours.
