Ray J Says Diddy’s Arrest Is A Learning Opportunity For The Next Generation

Ray J broke his silence on the arrest of Diddy during an episode of NewsNation’s Cuomo on Friday, September 20. Authorities charged the Bad Boy with sex trafficking and racketeering in New York City, earlier this week. Ray J says the situation presents a learning opportunity for the younger generation. Additionally, he says he never personally witnessed any of the crimes of which Diddy is being accused.

“We’ve all been around him, at least in my era, and have looked up to him,” Ray J said“And this situation is super unfortunate, but it’s important to learn a lesson right now and ensure the next generation understands how to move differently with transparency and integrity.”

Ray continued: “We’ve never seen the stuff that’s being said and the stuff that people are finding out, like, I’ve never been in rooms that people are talking about, and I never knew they existed. And a lot of people in the industry can agree with me on that sense. We just need to use it as a moment to reflect, not to criticize, but find a better way to move forward as leaders, individuals in this culture that we’re in right now.”

Ray J Speaks On Diddy’s Arrest

Diddy has already pleaded not guilty to the charges and maintains his innocence but was unable to get out of jail on bail. He’s currently behind bars at the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. The state was worried about him contacting witnesses if he were to get out ahead of a trial. Ryan Garcia Says Diddy’s Arrest Is A “Very Serious Matter” After Trolling Devin Haney Over It

Ryan Garcia says the allegations surrounding Diddy are a “very serious matter” and not one to joke about, despite trolling Devin Haney for his alleged link to the Bad Boy mogul. Speaking with TMZ in Los Angeles after authorities arrested Diddy on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, the suspended boxer expressed his concern for the alleged victims.

“We’re laughing but it’s a very serious matter,” Garcia said. “I just hope all the victims, you know, they get their due diligence because that’s sad if crazy s**t happened.” He also mentioned wanting a rematch with the 25-year-old. “If Haney wants a real match, tell him hit me up. I’ll give him another whoopin’,” he said. The center of Garcia’s trolling of Haney has revolved around Diddy’s alleged “freak off” parties and the 1,000 bottles of lube authorities allegedly found when raiding his properties.

Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has downplayed the relevance of so many bottles of lube and baby oil being found on his property. “I don’t think it was 1,000, I think it was a lot, I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know,” he told The New York Post outside the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on Saturday. “And you know these are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do, you know, we can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was there would be no more people.”

Ryan Garcia Discusses Diddy’s Arrest

Diddy is still being held at the infamous Brooklyn jail after failing to get out on bail, earlier this week. He’s already pleaded guilty to the charges and maintains his innocence. Be on the lookout for further updates on Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney as well as Diddy on HotNewHipHop.

Quavo Gets Sued By Louisiana Rapper Over Allegedly Stolen “Quavo Huncho” Track

It’s been a busy few months for Quavo. The Atlanta-born artist has taken part in various high-profile collaborations, performed at awards shows, and is even set to appear in an upcoming film. Now, he has something else a lot less exciting on his plate. According to TMZ Hip Hop, he’s being sued by a Louisiana rapper named Lamount London, or L.Mont.

L.Mont claims to have opened for Migos and 2 Chainz back in 2016 at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. At the time, he alleges that he took the opportunity to give Quavo a CD containing his track “Bubble Gum,” which he recorded the year prior. L.Mont says he did this hoping for an opportunity to work with him in the future. Unfortunately, he never heard from him again.

L.Mont Accuses Quavo Of Copying “Bubble Gum”

A couple of years later, however, Quavo unleashed his debut studio album Quavo Huncho. L.Mont quickly noticed that one track, “Bubble Gum,” sounded familiar. He alleges that the lyrics, arrangement, and melody are his work and is now seeking damages. These aren’t the only legal issues plaguing Quavo these days, however. Earlier this week, he also appeared in court to give his testimony about a 2018 incident in Las Vegas.

The former Migo got into an altercation with Encore Hotel & Casino valet Antonio Henry at the time. Henry later accused Quavo of injuring him physically and emotionally, per 8 News Now, and is seeking monetary damages. When asked what he thought his image was in court, Quavo said “to be a great role model, for the kids at least… And just be myself and show them where I came from. I always – never forget where I came from. But, also just be kind to others.” What do you think of Louisiana rapper L.Mont suing Quavo for allegedly stealing his song? Diddy Investigation: Bondage Gear, Sex Toys & Hidden Cameras Allegedly Found During Raids

Earlier this week, Diddy was arrested after being hit with several lawsuits and countless shocking allegations in recent months. The arrest also followed raids of the mogul’s mansions, which took place in March. During a recent conversation with the New York Post, one Homeland Security agent recalled some items allegedly found in Diddy’s Miami abode.

For one, the agent alleges that Diddy had entire rooms filled with sex toys, bondage gear, lingerie, and even hidden cameras. Allegedly, this is where his “freak offs” would take place. “So if you were in those sex parties, you were being recorded from every possible angle,” the agent told the outlet. “Including angles you wouldn’t have known about.”

“He also was able to watch the action remotely on his phone,” they added. “Cast it onto a TV in another part of the house… He didn’t have to be in the room when the sex was happening, although he frequently was.” Of course, this is far from all authorities allegedly found during the raids. Diddy’s indictment, which was unsealed earlier this week, lists additional items allegedly found in the Bad Boy Records founder’s homes.

“Law enforcement seized various Freak Off supplies including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant,” it reads. In addition to this, footage of the alleged freak offs was also discovered. What do you think of an agent alleging that bondage gear, sex toys, hidden cameras, and more were found during a raid of Diddy’s Miami mansion this year? Does this surprise you or not? Nelly Hit With $50 Million Lawsuit From Former St. Lunatics Groupmates

Nelly has had a lot on his plate for the past few months. In August, he and his fiancée Ashanti welcomed their first child together. Shortly before that, he was arrested at a casino in Missouri. He was accused of ecstasy possession, which his attorney vehemently denied on his behalf. Now, according to new court documents obtained by AllHipHop, he’s been hit with a $50 million lawsuit.

The lawsuit in question was reportedly filed by his former St. Lunatics groupmates Ali, Murphy Lee, Kyjuan, and City Spud earlier this week. They accuse Nelly of copyright infringement and unjust enrichment. Allegedly, they didn’t receive proper credit or compensation for their contributions to Country Grammar, Nelly’s 2000 debut studio album.

They accuse Nelly of falsely and fraudulently claiming to be the sole author of various tracks he allegedly created with St. Lunatics. These include “Batter Up,” “Thicky Thick Girl,” and “Steal The Show.” In their lawsuit, they also allege that Nelly promised to give them credit and compensation for their contributions. According to them, they figured out that he was allegedly not telling the truth several years later in 2020.

“Despite repeated assurances by defendant Haynes that plaintiffs would receive their writing credit and publishing income for creating the Original Compositions, plaintiffs, sometime in 2020, eventually discovered that defendant Haynes had been lying to them the entire time,” the lawsuit reads. “Plaintiffs eventually discovered that not only did they not receive any credit as authors and/or creators of the Original Compositions, but that defendant Haynes, and others, took full credit for creating the Original Compositions contained in the Infringing Album.” What do you think of Nelly getting sued by his former St. Lunatics groupmates? Are you surprised by this or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Wendy Williams’ Guardian Sues A&E For Allegedly “Humiliating And Exploiting” Her

Earlier this year, Lifetime unveiled their controversial docuseries, Where Is Wendy Williams? The doc puts some of the beloved former talk show host’s most vulnerable moments on display, including her opening up about mental health issues. This resulted in mixed reactions among viewers. While some thought it was informative to showcase Williams’ struggles, others began to accuse producers of exploiting her. This was only compounded when it was revealed that she was diagnosed with dementia and aphasia.

Now, according to PEOPLE, Williams’ guardian Sabrina Morrissey has filed a lawsuit against A&E Television Networks and its executive producer. Reportedly, she accuses them of “humiliating and exploiting” Williams for money. Morrissey alleges that they’ve made “millions off Wendy’s back,” while only paying her $82K for her participation.

Sabrina Morrissey Accuses A&E Of “Humiliating And Exploiting” Wendy Williams

In the suit, Morrissey also alleges that the crew “kept filming, trolling for the most embarrassing and shocking footage to titillate and sell to their audiences.” Williams’ team is asking that A&E cover Williams’ medical expenses and supervision for the rest of her life. The lawsuit comes after Creature Films executive producer Mark Ford spoke with PEOPLE about the doc in February.

“There was a guardianship in place the entire time we were filming with Wendy that was court-appointed to oversee her finances and her medical care. So I think the larger question here is about what can happen to someone under a legal guardianship if the family is separated from them and there isn’t somebody there on a daily basis checking in on their well-being,” he said at the time. “Wendy’s attorneys and the guardianship attorneys were consulted and signed off on the project.” What do you think of Wendy Williams’ guardian filing a lawsuit against A&E Television Networks and its executive producer earlier this year? What about them accusing the network of exploiting her? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Despite his defense of Diddy on X on Wednesday, Boosie previously criticized him earlier this year, after CNN published footage of him hitting Cassie at a hotel in 2016. Speaking with DJ Vlad at the time, he admitted the clip pissed him off. “That’s not the bad part, him chasing her down. Him kicking her on that ground, like, you kick somebody in the face, you’re motherf*cking– you sick man. A woman, you sick bro,” Boosie said. “I was pissed. I was like, ‘Damn, Diddy.’”

Diddy’s Alleged Plot To Blow Up Kid Cudi’s Car Revealed Amid Arraignment

Diddy allegedly set fire to Kid Cudi’s car by dropping a Molotov cocktail through the roof, according to prosecutors who referenced the incident in a 16-page letter arguing against letting the Bad Boy mogul out on bail. While Cudi isn’t mentioned by name, a number of the details line up with Cassie’s previous lawsuit against Diddy, in which she admitted to having “a brief relationship” with Cudi. She claimed that Diddy plotted to blow up Cudi’s car in response.

The state’s new letter reads: “In the early morning hours of December 22, 2011, the defendant [Diddy] and a co-conspirator kidnapped an individual at gunpoint to facilitate breaking into and entering the residence of another (‘Individual-1’). Multiple witnesses would testify at trial to the events surrounding the kidnapping and break-in, the latter of which is corroborated by police reports and other records.”

“Approximately two weeks later, the defendant’s co-conspirators set fire to Individual-1’s vehicle by slicing open the car’s convertible top and dropping a Molotov cocktail inside the interior,” it further alleges. “Police and fire department records extensively document the arson and conclude that the fire was intentionally set.”

Diddy ended up not being able to get out on bail and is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, still intends to appeal the case. He told reporters outside the courtroom: “He’s going to clear his name. And we’re going to stand by his side as he does. We believe in him wholeheartedly.” Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. Be on the lookout for further updates on Diddy on HotNewHipHop.

Diddy Accuses Cassie Of Cheating On Him Before His Alleged Abuse

Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, reportedly accused Cassie of cheating on his client with her now-husband, during their relationship. Referring to her as “victim one,” at the Bad Boy mogul’s arraignment on Tuesday, Agnifilo said she had been sleeping with her trainer for years, according to Inner City Press. Cassie previously sued Diddy for alleged sexual abuse back in 2023, but the two quickly settled. Months later, CNN published footage of Diddy hitting her at a hotel in 2016.

Authorities arrested Diddy on Monday night while releasing a 14-page federal indictment against him. He’s continued to maintain his innocence and has pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Agnifilo said, as noted by AllHipHop. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal.”

Judge Robyn Tarnofsky ended up ruling that “this is a crime that happens behind closed doors, even when pretrial services is monitoring,” as caught by CNN.

Diddy Lands At “Horrific” Jail Previously Home To R Kelly, Ghislaine Maxwell, & More

Diddy is currently behind bars at an infamous federal jail in Brooklyn that previously housed R. Kelly, Fetty Wap, Michael Cohen, Allison Mack, and Ghislaine Maxwell, as noted by TMZ. In the wake of his unsuccessful attempt at getting out on bail, he’ll be staying at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Authorities arrested him on Monday night and charged him with allegations of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking in a 14-page indictment. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, told reporters outside of the courtroom that he plans to appeal the bail decision.

“He’s going to clear his name and we’re going to stand by his side as he does. We believe in him wholeheartedly,” Agnifilo told reporters afterward, as caught by CNN. “He came here to turn himself in. Why doesn’t the government want him to turn himself in? Because then they can’t ask for detention. All we can do is show good faith. He got on a plane and he came here. They arrested a guy who came here to turn himself in.”

Agnifilo had argued in the courtroom that Diddy’s willingness to turn himself in and his reputation in the community demonstrate that he is not a flight risk. Additionally, the disgraced singer offered up $50 million and was willing to remain in Miami on house arrest with constant surveillance. Judge Robyn Tarnofsky wasn’t moved and instead argued that “this is a crime that happens behind closed doors, even when pretrial services is monitoring.”

In a letter to the judge, Diddy’s legal team called the conditions at the Brooklyn detention center “horrific,” as caught by The New York Times.
