Daddy Yankee Accuses Estranged Wife Of Withdrawing $100M Without Authorization Amid Divorce

Amid his divorce from his wife of 29 years, Mireddys González, Daddy Yankee has hit her with some shocking allegations. In new legal documents obtained by Billboard, he accuses González and her sister Ayeicha González Castellano of withdrawing millions from company accounts without authorization. More specifically, he alleges they took $80 million from the El Cartel Records account and $20 million from the Los Cangris music account.

He calls the alleged move a “desperate attempt” that went against “warnings received and express requests that she put a stop to any management and initiative that would compromise the company’s finance,” according to the outlet. “It now becomes evident why she has wanted to keep him in the dark and deny him information about the withdrawals and cash movements that she and her sister make behind his back,” the filing alleges. In dual motions filed earlier this week, Daddy Yankee demanded the “immediate” removal of González and her sister from both the accounts and administrative duties of the companies.

The allegations arrived just weeks after Daddy Yankee announced that he and González decided to go their separate ways. “With a heart full of respect and honesty, I want to share some important news about my personal life,” he wrote on his Instagram story in Spanish this month. “After more than two decades of marriage and after many months of trying to save my marriage, which my wife and I share, today my lawyers responded to the divorce petition received from Mireddys.”

“I appreciate the time we shared, full of blessings and values, of love and with a beautiful family that will continue to be our priority,” his statement to followers continued. “This is not an easy time, but I understand that it is part of my life process.” At the time of writing, González has yet to address the allegations publicly.

Lil Wayne Accused Of Sending NSFW Text To Reporter

Recently, Business Insider published a report about how various artists used grant money during the COVID-19 pandemic. The outlet’s investigation found that Lil Wayne was given a whopping $8.9 million, some of which he allegedly spent on luxury clothing, private plane rides, and more. He also reportedly canceled a performance in Southern California on New Year’s Eve 2021 but billed taxpayers nearly $88K for it anyway.

“At a minimum, it smells,” Former Comptroller General of the United States David Walker said of the findings. “Whether it’s legal or not is up to a lawyer or ultimately to a court. But it sure smells.” Another artist Business Insider‘s report focused on was Chris Brown. Allegedly, his company CBE Touring received a total of $10 million, and $5.1 allegedly went to him personally. One of the reporters behind the investigation, Katherine Long, even alleges that when she reached out to Lil Wayne she was hit with a less-than-pleasant response.

“A couple weeks ago, we were doing another round of phone calls, trying to confirm that the musicians we’d named were aware of our reporting. I realized the email address we’d found for Lil Wayne was hooked up to iMessage. So I texted it,” Long tweeted earlier today. “Hello Dwayne. This is Katherine Long from Business Insider. Did you see my email?” her text reads. “Did u see my d*ck? I’m sure it’s much longer and better than the email and u like em long right Ms Long?” Lil Wayne allegedly responded.

From there, Long clarified who she was and why she was reaching out. He allegedly apologized and told her she had the wrong number. “I followed up. He said I’d reached the ‘wrong Dwayne.’ (Remember, we found this email address in exhibits to a lawsuit, showing his manager had been using it to send him business documents.) I sent this exchange to Lil Wayne’s publicists. They didn’t respond,” Long explained.

Jay-Z Faces Paternity Test Lawsuit As Legal Woes Continue

Jay-Z is facing another lawsuit, this time from Rymir Satterthwaite, who alleges to be the 31-year-old “illegitimate son” of the legendary rapper. According to MailOnline, Rymir lists “Satterthwaite, his late mother Wanda, and his guardian Dr. Lillie Coley” as plaintiffs in the case. Rymir claims Jay acted fraudulently during prior paternity tests. In turn, he argues the plaintiffs’ legal “rights were violated through fraudulent court actions,” including “sealed records, wrongful sanctions, and obstruction of their legal proceedings.”

Before Rymir’s mother’s death in 2019, she alleged to have had a sexual relationship with Jay-Z back in 1992 when she was 16 and he was 22. When she initially attempted to make Jay get a paternity test, a Pennsylvania court shot the demand down, noting that her son was already over 18 years old at the time. According to state law, she would have had to establish paternity before then.

The paternity drama is far from the only legal trouble Jay is facing right now. A woman recently amended a previous lawsuit she filed against Diddy to accuse Jay of also allegedly raping her at a party in 2000. She was just 13 years old at the time. Both artists have already denied the allegation.

Additionally, the attorney in that case, Tony Buzbee, has filed a new lawsuit against Jay’s company, Roc Nation. He accuses the company of violating “various state laws,” including “barratry and impersonation of a public official.” He announced the move in a statement on Wednesday, writing: “LET ME BE CLEAR: we will not be bullied or intimidated. The Defendants this time overstepped, got sloppy, and stupidly got caught at their illegal scheme on tape. It’s certainly no secret that millions of people suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on a new Business Insider investigation, however, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown certainly weren’t among them. The outlet reports that Weezy received a $8.9 million grant from a pandemic-relief program, which was intended to help independent venues and artists. Reportedly, this money instead paid for various stays at luxury hotels, designer clothing, private jet flights, and more.

The outlet even reports that he spent a whopping $15K for flights and hotel rooms for women, despite their connection to Lil Wayne’s team being unclear. This included an adult actress and a waitress at a breastaurant. On New Year’s Eve 2021, he was scheduled to perform in Southern California. He ultimately canceled his set shortly before it began due to “the wind and the flights.” Despite him not showing up, he reportedly billed taxpayers almost $88K.

Social media posts also suggest that the rapper was partying with 2 Chainz at a club on Sunset Boulevard the night of the cancelation. Lil Wayne isn’t the only person Business Insider‘s investigation allegedly exposed, however. Chris Brown also took part in some questionable grant spending, per the outlet. Reportedly, he even spent a whopping $80K on his own birthday party, $24K for a tour bus ride to Tulum, and more. Overall, his company CBE Touring received a total of $10 million, and $5.1 allegedly went to Brown personally.

Tony Buzbee Sues Jay-Z’s Roc Nation For Alleged Illegal Solicitation Of Clients

Tony Buzbee and his law firm have filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. He accuses them of allegedly illegally soliciting clients to take legal against him. In an announcement, Buzbee alleged that the company violated “various state laws,” including “barratry and impersonation of a public official.” The lawsuit comes as Buzbee is also representing a woman accusing Jay and Diddy of allegedly raping her in 2000. She was just 13 years old at the time. Both artists have already vehemently denied the allegation.

Buzbee writes in his statement: “The case was brought on behalf of a former client of the firm who was illegally solicited by agents working on behalf of the Defendants. These agents pretended to working for the State of Texas and offered the former client money to sue the Buzbee Law Firm. This illegal conduct has happened more than two dozen times to date and has resulted in two utterly frivolous cases against the firm. The lawsuit filed today alleges that the Defendants’ conspiracy is intended to obstruct justice and prevent the Buzbee Law Firm from pursuing cases related to the Diddy litigation in New York. Jay-Z’s Attorney Checked By Fans After Claiming The Rapper Isn’t Friends With Diddy

Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, says there’s no relationship outside of a professional context between his client and Diddy. The clarification comes after a woman amended a previous lawsuit against the Bad Boy mogul to accuse Jay-Z of allegedly raping her at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000, when she was just 13 years old. Both Jay and Diddy have already vehemently denied the allegation.

Spiro distanced Jay from Diddy while speaking during a press roundtable at Roc Nation’s New York City Offices on Monday. “They knew each other professionally for a number of years,” he said, as caught by Us Weekly. “Just like in all professions, people know each other. At the music awards, they support each other. If you go to the NBA All-Star game, they support each other. That’s just how professions work. There is no closer association between any of them. That’s also a matter of fiction.” Spiro similarly denied there being a relationship between the two during an interview with NBC News on Monday as well. “There is no friendship or longtime bond here,” Spiro told the outlet. “Just because they knew each other, know each other, that doesn’t mean anything.”

Jay-Z’s Lawyer Distances The Rapper From Diddy Amid Rape Lawsuit Allegations

Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, says the legendary rapper “isn’t going to get shaken down” as he faces a civil lawsuit accusing him of allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000. The anonymous “Jane Doe” made the allegation in an amendment to a previous lawsuit she had filed against, Diddy, earlier this year. Spiro discussed the case during an interview with NBC News on Monday.

“This case needs to be dismissed, and Mr. Carter’s name needs to be fully cleared,” Spiro said. He also distanced Jay-Z from Diddy. “There is no friendship or longtime bond here,” Spiro said. “Just because they knew each other, know each other, that doesn’t mean anything.”

From there, Spiro discussed Jay’s impassioned statement shooting down the allegations. Shortly after news of the lawsuit was made public, Jay accused attorney Tony Buzbee of blackmail. He wrote in part: “What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a very public fashion. So no, I will not give you one red penny!!” Addressing the controversy around those remarks, Spiro said: “Mr. Carter speaks for himself, and he speaks from a position of strength because he’s completely innocent and these claims are obviously false. But it is upsetting. Nobody wants to hear these things. We expect Mr. Carter to be cleared of this in the coming days.”

Real Boston Richey is facing more harsh developments in the saga of his love life, which stirred up controversy earlier this year when fans accused him of being with his current partner, Tatiana Chanell, when she was underage. Now, his ex girlfriend Aire accused him via Twitter of sending a video of them being intimate to someone to brag, and that he still reaches out to her often. Not only that, but she also accused the rapper of sending her money in addition to his communications, showing her the same kind of love that he shows for Chanell online. All in all, it’s a pretty nasty accusation, albeit still an unconfirmed one.

“Boston Richey is a child molester, and a creep who exposes girls,” Aire alleged concerning Real Boston Richey. “Nawl his mother started bothering me & he exposed me numerous of times without my knowledge.” Also, she posted alleged text messages in which the HANDLING BUSINESS collaborator saying that he sent the explicit video to brag and offering her money as an apology. When his mother accused Aire of extorting him over this video, she responded with an alleged recording of the mom speaking foully of his current girlfriend.

Apparently, Tatiana deactivated her social media pages, and she’s gone back and forth both publicly and privately with Real Boston Richey’s ex girlfriend multiple times. In fact, Aire and one of Tatiana’s cousins allegedly got into a physical altercation over it. So it looks like all these individuals still have a lot to work out among themselves, as much as the “What U Bad For” artist might want to brag. Still, we want to emphasize that these are just accusations at press time, and not ones he publicly responded to yet.

This follows a pretty prolific year for Real Boston Richey, who dropped off a lot of singles this year plus his new album, Richey Rich. Maybe he ends up talking about this issue before the year wraps up, or this is one of those social media stories that wanes over time. Diddy-Themed Jokes Have Parents Calling For His Name To Be Banned From Public Schools

Diddy is causing drama for parents of New York City public school students who continue to use his name for jokes that disrupt class. Speaking with the New York Post, one parent labeled the trend, “heartbreaking,” joining calls to have schools ban Diddy’s name from the classroom.

Vanessa Mejia, mother to an 8-year-old at Chelsea’s PS-11, says her daughter came home shouting “Welcome to my Diddy party.” She had heard a boy use the phrase in her third-grade classroom. Mejia said it was “extremely” shocking due to the age of the children. “And then my second thought was, who knows how much information this boy had on the whole [Diddy] situation? Because if he is well-informed, did he really mean to say that? Or was it that he didn’t know what it meant?” she told the outlet.

While Mejia explained that her daughter doesn’t know the reality of Diddy’s legal turmoil, she says that other kids at school might. Diddy’s currently behind bars in Brooklyn while awaiting trial in his case regarding charges of alleged federal racketeering and sex trafficking. Jose Luis Guerra, who has two kids studying at the same public school, further told the outlet: “It’s terrible. Kids are making fun of a situation that has harmed a lot of people. I don’t think that has a place here and it should be addressed.”

Jenna Lyle, a spokesperson for the Department of Education, told the Post that the DOE has a protocol in place to deal with hateful or offensive language. She said: “School is a place of learning and growth, and we are proud that our buildings are filled with dedicated and talented educators who can use these instances as teachable moments for our youngest New Yorkers.” Diddy has already pleaded not guilty in his ongoing case. His trial will kick off in May of next year. He’s also denied all other allegations he’s faced over the last year.

Drea Kelly Slams Critics Blaming Her For R Kelly’s Alleged Abuse Of Their Daughter

In October, TVEI Streaming Network dropped a two-episode documentary, Karma: A Daughter’s Journey. In it, R Kelly’s daughter Buku Abi opens up about the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of her father. “I was too scared to tell anybody, I was too scared to tell my mom,” she said in part, “I really feel like that one millisecond completely just changed my whole life and changed who I was as a person and changed the sparkle I had and the light I used to carry… I just remember waking up to him touching me. And I didn’t know what to do, so I just kind of laid there, and I pretended to be asleep.”

Abi continued, alleging that she and her mother Drea Kelly tried to file an anonymous police report. According to her, her father was allegedly not prosecuted because the statute of limitations had passed. Social media users quickly flooded her with words of support, but her mother didn’t have the same experience.

During a recent interview with Carlos King, Drea addressed those who blamed her for her daughter’s abuse after she came forward. She recalled allegedly going to the police after receiving a concerning call from Abi but being told there was nothing she could do to get her away from Kelly. “And that was probably the most painful experience of my life,” she said. “Because I did everything that I could […] I did everything I could just to have the police tell me I could do nothing. And my baby carried that pain around for years trying to protect me.”

This isn’t all Drea discussed during the interview, however. She also defended her decision to keep her ex’s last name after they went their separate ways. She argued that she earned the right to it by birthing her children and contributing significantly to the choreography for Kelly’s tours, music videos, and live performances.
