Gunplay Delivers Update On Vonshae Taylor-Morales Drama After Alleged Rifle-Pointing Incident

In August of last year, Gunplay was arrested for allegedly pointing a rifle at his wife Vonshae Taylor-Morales while she was holding their baby. As a result, Taylor-Morales was granted a restraining order against the rapper, and custody of their child. Unfortunately, he allegedly violated this restraining order various times, resulting in additional arrests.

Now, during a recent Instagram Live, Gunplay has provided a brief update on the situation. “This thing about to be over real soon,” he said. “It could have been way worse… Even though I didn’t do it.” He went on to reveal that he intends to turn his life around, and that he’s considering sharing his journey with his fans.

In October of 2023, Taylor-Morales spoke out after Gunplay was arrested for allegedly violating a restraining order, revealing that she too was looking to get back on the right track.

“Regardless of how the public may feel about my mistakes and recent choices, I am still human,” she said at the time. “No mother and child should have to constantly uproot their life and live in fear of a man. I really want to take this time to heal in a safe space. Thanks to the Diddy scandal, Jaguar Wright, and many other accusers, there are a lot of Jay-Z rumors floating around the Internet right now. They’re all just allegations, and despite the fervor with which many social media users discuss them with online, they remain baseless at press time. One older rumor largely attributed to Wendy Williams is that he had a baby with 106 & Park host Free, a speculative theory which people have often dismissed in the past. Now, Free herself came through with a response on her social media, denying it outright. As you can see in the comments section of the Instagram post below, this resulted in a lot of fervent discussion, especially considering how long this has been in the rumor mill.

In fact, Jaguar Wright’s allegations about Jay-Z made Piers Morgan take down his interview with her, during which she had made them. “There’s rumors and then there’s nonsense and this is one step further,” Hov and Beyoncé’s lawyer Alex Spiro told TMZ about the situation. “This is a pointed and formal accusation of something. I felt it needed to be responded to. I think somebody reported it was a cease-and-desist. It wasn’t that. It was quite bluntly an ultimatum, which is to remove that false accusation that’s demonstrably false or a court’s gonna order you to. So, I think he made the wise choice and acted accordingly.”

“Editing interviews is not something we do lightly at a show called Uncensored,” Piers Morgan said of the Jay-Z debacle. “But like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal limits on us, too. Jaguar Wright spent a lot of time as of late launching salacious and outrageous allegations against many hip-hop and media elites in the industry. Whether it’s Diddy, Jay-Z, or the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, she ruffled a lot of feathers as of late… At least, more than she usually does. One of the singer’s most odd claims in the eyes of a certain rapper-podcaster is that she allegedly saw a supposed video of music producer Stevie J having sex with Joe Budden. On his titular podcast, the Slaughterhouse MC and media personality responded to these allegations.

“No, she is grabbing the salacious and very obvious headlines and expounding on them with s**t,” Joe Budden began. “And again, I’m only saying this ’cause I heard her say out of her mouth that she saw a video of Stevie J and Joe Budden f***ing. So I know, I know, I can say with 100% certainty, oh, that this lady just be saying s**t to add to the luster of whatever the f**k she’s saying.” Then, Ice joked that maybe Joe just didn’t know that there was a camera in the room, although he clarified that it was just a joke amid the podcast cohosts’ laughter. “I’ve never been in any compromising situation. I’ve never been in any situation where someone tried to overtake – that’s never happened to me,” Budden replied.

Meanwhile, Jaguar Wright’s latest media rift was with DJ Vlad, who claimed that she lied about an interview request. “Jaguar Wright recently did an interview where she showed an email claiming we contacted her for an interview,” Vlad tweeted. “This is false. R Kelly’s Daughter Alleges That He Sexually Abused Her When She Was A Child

Earlier today, TVEI Streaming Network unveiled its new two-episode documentary, Karma: A Daughter’s Journey. In it, R Kelly’s daughter Buku Abi opens up about the abuse she allegedly faced at the hands of her father. Abi, born Joann Kelly, took the opportunity to reveal that she was allegedly sexually abused by him during her childhood.

“He was my everything. For a long time, I didn’t even want to believe that it happened. I didn’t know that even if he was a bad person that he would do something to me,” she alleged. “I was too scared to tell anybody, I was too scared to tell my mom.” Abi continued, describing how the alleged abuse has had a lasting impact on her life.

“I really feel like that one millisecond completely just changed my whole life and changed who I was as a person and changed the sparkle I had and the light I used to carry… I just remember waking up to him touching me. And I didn’t know what to do, so I just kind of laid there, and I pretended to be asleep,” she alleged. Abi also alleged that she and her mother later tried to file an anonymous police report. Ultimately, she alleges that Kelly was not prosecuted because the statute of limitations had passed.

Earlier this week, it was reported that 50 Cent filed a lawsuit against Maksud Agadjani and his corporation, TraxNYC. He accuses the jeweler of using his face and name to sell merchandise without permission. Fif alleges that Agadjani’s social media posts are misleading to customers, who may believe that he’s affiliated with him in some way. “Mr. Jackson takes the unauthorized use of his name and likeness for commercial purposes seriously,” a rep for 50 Cent told TMZ Hip Hop yesterday (October 10).

News of the lawsuit arrived just a few days after Agadjani showed off a cross resembling 50 Cent’s on Instagram. “50, thank you for the inspiration,” he said. “You’re a true gentleman. I’m sure you won’t mind.” At the time, the artist took to Agadjani’s comments section to issue a warning.

Unfortunately for him, however, it doesn’t look like 50 Cent went for it. According to new documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, the mogul is suing Maksud Agadjani and his corporation, TraxNYC. He alleges that Agadjani has been using his name and face to sell jewelry. He accuses him of trademark infringement and violating his right to publicity.

Fif argues that Agadjani’s TikToks are misleading to customers, and allegedly suggest that he’s in some way affiliated with the jeweler. Dr Dre Accuses Divorce Counseler Of Sabotaging His Relationship With Son

Earlier this week, Dr Dre was hit with a $10 million lawsuit from his former psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Sophy. Sophy worked alongside Dre and his ex-wife Nicole Young throughout the process of their 2021 divorce. Unfortunately, however, things allegedly got ugly. Sophy accuses Dre of subjecting him to an “ongoing barrage of threats,” and more.

“Rather than treating the mediation process as an opportunity for healing, he decided to take his frustrations about the mediation out on Dr. Sophy — frustrations that manifested themselves in the form of a nearly year-long sustained campaign of late-night texts, threats of intimidation and violence, and homophobic rhetoric,” Sophy’s lawyer Christopher Frost alleges, per Billboard.

Now, according to TMZ, he has clapped back. In a letter obtained by the outlet, which was sent in February of 2023, the artist’s lawyer Howard King accuses Sophy of malpractice and of sabotaging his relationship with his son. He alleged that Sophy “slandered” him “in a malicious effort to convince his son to turn against him.” King argues that this was allegedly done to give Dre’s ex an advantage in the divorce.

In addition to $10 million in damages, Sophy has requested a restraining order against Dr Dre. Kanye West Sued By Man He Allegedly Hired To Investigate Bianca Censori & The Kardashians

Kanye West has faced no shortage of legal issues in the past, and now, he’s been hit with yet another lawsuit. This time, an anonymous man claiming to be his former “Director of Intelligence” is suing him for allegedly failing to pay him and allegedly inflicting emotional distress. The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, alleges that the man was initially hired to be Ye’s campaign manager for his presidential run. Eventually, however, his role allegedly changed.

He alleges that he was responsible for handling NDAs, and even investigating his wife Bianca Censori and the Kardashians. Allegedly, he’d have the man “tail” Censori without her knowledge during solo trips. This allegedly included the times she’d visit her family in Australia. The man did not specify why he was allegedly ordered to follow Censori.

As for Ye’s former in-laws, however, he had a pretty shocking reason for allegedly having them investigated. The man accuses Ye of having him look into the Kardashians’ alleged “criminal links,” and of believing they took part in alleged “sex trafficking.” He claims their relationship took a turn for the worse when he shared alleged complaints from a former Donda Academy staff member. According to him, the staff member had alleged that students were being abused at the school.

Allegedly, when he shared this with Ye, he was yelled at, cursed at, and threatened with “great bodily harm.” After the alleged confrontation, the man even accused members of Ye’s team of sending him threats. Allegedly, this triggered PTSD he has from serving in the military. The man is reportedly seeking unspecified damages, and Ye has yet to respond to the suit. In a lengthy post, Liziane Gutierrez announces her participation in the doc, some of the criticism she’s previously faced for sharing her story, and more. “Lier, clout chaser, ridiculous are just same of the things I have heard over the years since I decided to tell what happened to me. I’m not sure if Im psychologically ready to face the consequences of appearing in this documentary including financial consequences since I signed a non disclosure agreement,” she alleged.

Yung Filly Hit With Sexual Assault Charges Over Alleged Incident In Australia

UK rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly received sexual assault charges for an alleged Perth, Australia incident following a Tuesday (October 8) arrest, according to local news reports per AllHipHop. Authorities apprehended him in Brisbane on Tuesday and extradited him to Perth the next day. Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was hit with accusations of allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in his hotel in Perth on September 28 after a show in the area the previous day. The 29-year-old went on Thursday (October 10) to Perth Magistrates Court and received the following charges: three counts of alleged assault causing bodily harm, four counts of alleged sexual penetration without consent and one count of allegedly impeding someone’s normal breathing or blood circulation through pressure to the neck.

“WA Police Sex Assault Squad detectives will allege on Saturday 28 September 2024, the man sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s, in his Perth hotel room after he had performed at a venue in Hillarys,” the Western Australia Police stated concerning Yung Filly’s allegations. “This investigation is ongoing and Sex Assault Squad detectives urge anyone with information relating to this matter, or any similar incidents, to call Crime Stoppers.”

Furthermore, at Yung Filly’s bail hearing later on Thursday, Magistrate Tanya Watt granted him bail, according to ABC News in Australia. She disagreed with prosecutors that the court couldn’t adequately account for his flight risk and witness interference potential. However, Watt granted Filly bail under strict conditions that ban him from contacting his alleged victim and posting about the case online. In addition, he is to remain in Western Australia, file daily status reports with local police, and cough up a $100,000 surety.

Meanwhile, various fans went to Yung Filly’s court proceedings, telling ABC News that they wanted to hear the allegations for themselves. Prosecutors also showed publicly undisclosed photos of the alleged incident to the magistrate, which they claim prove that any alleged sexual activity couldn’t have been consensual. On the other hand, Filly’s defense opposed an outright social media ban and requested that the court not publicly discuss the material facts of the case in order to not risk his right to a fair trial.
