Brother Ali Previews 2025 Album With Five-Track “Satisfied Soul EP”

Brother Ali has shown time and time again why he’s maintained such a long and prosperous career. The Madison, Wisconsin born rapper, activist, and community leader is getting to prove that pretty soon, specifically on February 14, 2025. That is the release date of Brother Ali’s next endeavor, Satisfied Soul. It’s available for pre-save on Apple Music and it’s going to consist of 17 tracks. Additionally, some other information we have available, courtesy of Stereogum, is that the album will be mostly produced by Ant. if you aren’t familiar with him, he’s known for his time as the other half of Minnesota hip-hop duo, Atmosphere. He works alongside fellow underground MC Slug. They are still going as well and have been since the late 90s.

Ali has always been one to muse and speak honestly about the issues existing in the world. In addition, he also manages to effectively communicate with his audience about emotions and philosophical questions. That’s helped by his voice, which always commands attention thanks how booming it is and how articulate he can be. It makes you want to think and question things he talks about, so the listener is always reaping the benefits when they truly try to understand what he’s conveying. Folks were surely have a lot to take out of these five tracks that are out to promote the album. Something that has our interest, outside of the uplifting and contemplative messages is the production. There’s a diverse set of live instrumentation and it’s put together well. Check out Ali’s new EP with the links below.

Kendrick Lamar & Rihanna Reportedly Turned Down Headlining Coachella Next Year

Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna fans are desperate for a new album, but it looks like they might not have much to promote… Right? Well, according to a recent Bloomberg report, Goldenvoice’s president Paul Tollet is shopping around for Coachella 2025 headliners, and asked the “LOYALTY.” duo if the would be down. Apparently, they turned the offer down, although this doesn’t necessarily indicate that they won’t be coming out with something soon. This report also claimed that K.Dot will go on a stadium tour in 2025, and his Super Bowl halftime show next year also suggests that he’s got something to roll out.

As for RiRi… We’re all out of guesses. We don’t know if she’s just really working that hard on perfecting her next record over the course of almost a decade at this point. Also, Rihanna continues to grow her business empire and her family, so she has plenty of extracurricular reasons to maybe leave the music to the side at this point. Die-hards hope that this isn’t the case, but at this point, we have to be pessimistic rather than blindly hopeful.

Kendrick Lamar & Rihanna Allegedly Turned Coachella Down

In addition, we also need to compare this reported Coachella rejection to the Super Bowl halftime show. When Rihanna performed last year, she didn’t follow it up with an album release, which was very disappointing even for the fans hyped about her pregnancy reveal. As for Kendrick Lamar, he’s got his headlining slot coming up in New Orleans on February 9, one that the Barbadian singer is very excited for. Of course, this doesn’t guarantee an album rollout, or even new material. But we can’t imagine that the Compton lyricist didn’t attack Drake with a plan to have this lead into something larger or what he really wants to talk about and share with the world.

Whether or not you think Kendrick Lamar deserved the Super Bowl slot is another story. Regardless of that debate, he and Rihanna continue to be at the top of people’s “most anticipated albums” list. Coachella-goers next year sadly won’t see them on the main stage, but this speculative discussion around their next moves will continue regardless of a “yes” or “no” answer. As such, no report or theory will close the door or open it when it comes to their next record, unless either of them says anything to the contrary.

Kendrick Lamar Will Reportedly Embark On Stadium Tour After Super Bowl

Ever since the Drake battle ended, Kendrick Lamar fans have been wondering if he will stay quiet for a while longer or if he will follow right back up with more material. When he announced his Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year, it was clear that he plans to make a big splash next year, hopefully with a new album to move on from the beef. Moreover, Bloomberg recently reported that K.Dot is apparently planning a 2025 stadium tour after the Super Bowl, which is why he reportedly turned down a headlining slot at next year’s Coachella festival. Of course, this is all just speculative, so take it with a grain of salt.

However, this seems pretty plausible if Kendrick Lamar does plan to release a new album this year or the next. His last trek for Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers was one of the most successful hip-hop tours of all time, so a level-up doesn’t seem out of the question. Right now, the question is timing. But you know how fans are: they will continue their theorizing and speculation until they actually have an announcement or new release in their hands.

Kendrick Lamar Will Supposedly Hit The Stadiums Next Year

All that said, before Kendrick Lamar embarks on this supposed stadium tour, he will see whether or not he will be up for any Grammys. He submitted three of his Drake diss tracks for consideration at the 2025 awards ceremony: “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin, “Euphoria,” and “Not Like Us.” Both “Like That” and “Not Like Us” were submitted for Song/Record of the Year and Best Rap Song/Performance, with the latter also being submitted for Best Music Video. For “Euphoria,” on the other hand, we don’t have the info on what categories they submitted it for, but we can assume that it’s for the same ones as the others. Just to be clear, these aren’t official nominations; they’re only tryouts for a nomination, if that makes sense.

Meanwhile, as so many rumors continue to fly around Kendrick Lamar and Drake, many OVO Stans want Kendrick to thank Drizzy for “reviving his career” or whatever else you’ve seen on social media. One of the battle’s biggest consequences is that they will never be able to do anything without the other side holding their grudges…

Cardi B Assists The WWE In Announcing Inaugural Two-Night SummerSlam Event For 2025

Cardi B has been making a lot of headlines for her newest social media debacle with Offset. The ex-couple have been putting each other on blast for cheating allegations and more. The former Migos group mate has been claiming that she’s been having a hard time moving on. However, she revealed some pretty salacious text messages that would prove otherwise. Also, Cardi B helping the WWE announce this new SummerSlam format for next year is also making her point in some way too.

According to Billboard, The Bronx superstar took to Instagram to drop a mini trailer for the still popular entertainment company. In the clip, Ms. B teams up with female wrestling star Bianca Belair to reveal that one the most coveted events in the sport is getting some special treatment. In 2025, SummerSlam will be heading to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for not one night, but two nights. It’s the first time ever for this sort of format, so it’s obviously a big deal.

So, why not have Cardi do it? She’s a major artist, but also has the knack for making things fun and light-hearted. “I got two words for you: SummerSlam. MetLife”, she says with excitement to Belair. The latter hilariously responds, “I’m pretty sure that’s one word”. Some may be wondering though, why Cardi for this promo? She’s been a fan of the program for a long time, so this had to have been a nice full-circle moment for her.

What are your thoughts on Cardi B announcing the WWE with unveiling the first-ever two-night SummerSlam? Do you think this was a subtle jab at Offset? How do you feel about the WWE putting this on?
