Cam’ron and Ma$e have been killing it as of late thanks to their new show, It Is What It Is. Overall, this show is an incredibly refreshing take on the sports talk formula. Unlike shows such as First Take and Undisputed, this show is uncensored. Entire episodes can be found on YouTube, and although they haven’t had any guests, they haven’t really needed any. Cam and Ma$e are exceptionally entertaining on their own. The commentary will have you laughing from start to finish, and it all feels like a breath of fresh air.
Subsequently, Cam’ron has spent a lot of time speaking about how he hopes to expand the show. There are already various suitors who want in on the publishing side. After all, this show has the potential to be a cash cow, and various media companies are looking to expand their portfolios. However, as Cam has already explained, it is going to take a lot of money to get into this venture. Not to mention, the New York legend is already looking to add hosts to the show. His first target? Well, none other than Shannon Sharpe, of course.
Cam’ron x Shannon Sharpe?
Recently, Sharpe had to censor himself after he said a swear word on live TV. This prompted Cam’ron to send a message to Sharpe. “I seen Shannon curse on TV the other day,” Cam’ron starts. “N***a said, ‘What the fuck,’ then he had to stop himself. Yo Shannon, if you wanna be on television without the producers tellin’ you what to say, without ya co-host cutting you off every time you want to make a statement, come to the team. Welcome to It Is What It Is, n***a. Come on n***a, we got a spot for yo ass, n***a!” It would take a lot of money to entice Sharpe away from Fox, although it is definitely worth a try.
At this point, Cam’ron doesn’t even need Sharpe. Ma$e and their moderator Stat Baby have proven to be a phenomenal team. That said, we cannot wait to see what’s next for It Is What It Is.
