Bella Thorne and her boyfriend Benjamin Mascolo announced that they have gotten engaged, Sunday, with a cute series of posts on Instagram. The posts began with a “How it started” photo of Mascolo and included a video of Thorne reacting to the proposal and more.

“Thank you for being amazing, baby. I love you so much,” Mascolo says in a video while Thorne shows off her ring overcome with emotion. “Now we’re getting married! Soon, hopefully! Celebration in Italy and America both.”

In another post, Mascolo explained that he proposed while the couple were working on their upcoming film Time Is Up. 

“I wrote the love letter on the back of the script of our movie,” he wrote in a post on his Instagram story. “At the end of the last scene, she was at monitor watching with the director and.. surprise.”

Thorne and Mascolo have reportedly been dating for nearly two years. Thorne was in a relationship with Mod Sun prior to dating Mascolo. She recently revealed that she identifies as pansexual. She also started an OnlyFans account in 2020 that netted $2 million. Thorne confirmed that some of the money would go to charity.

Attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing the 12 women filing a class-action lawsuit against Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson for sexual assault, says his team is submitting their evidence to the Houston Police Department and the Houston district attorney, Monday morning. In addition to the women who have come forward thus far, Buzbee said he has spoken with “more than 10 additional women.”

The Attorney provided the update on his Instagram, Saturday:

Per advice from a well-known criminal defense attorney: Our team will be submitting affidavits and evidence from several women, who had experiences with Deshaun Watson, to the Houston Police Department and the Houston District Attorney, on Monday morning. We will request that a grand jury be empaneled to consider the evidence we provide.

The numerous accusations come as the Texans appeared to be preparing to trade Watson, who has made his desire to be moved clear. The team has issued their own statement on the allegations stating that they “will conduct an investigation into the allegations made in the civil lawsuits filed against Deshaun Watson.” 

Watson has denied the accusations, claiming that they are simply “publicity-seeking,” and that he has “never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect.”

The Simpsons creator Matt Groening teased that the crew is “working on something kind of ambitious” with regard to Apu, one year after Hank Azaria announced he would step away from voicing the character. Groening added that the writing team has “to see if we can make the stories work.”

“I think the Apu stories are fantastic, and he’s one of the most nuanced characters on a silly two-dimensional cartoon show. So, yeah, I’m proud of Apu,” Groening told USA Today, ahead of the iconic animated comedy’s 700th episode. The Simpsons premiered back in 1989.

“Who can be against diversity? So it’s great,” Groening continued. “However, I will just say that the actors were not hired to play specific characters. They were hired to do whatever characters we thought of. To me, the amazing thing is seeing all our brilliant actors who can do multiple voices, do multiple voices. That’s part of the fun of animation, However, to be more inclusive and hire more people, I’m completely in favor of that.”

The Simpsons’ Harry Shearer recently stepped down from voicing Dr. Hibbert, a black character on the show.

The 700th episode of The Simpsons will air at 8:00 PM on March 21st.

Rumors hit Twitter, this weekend, that Quavo allegedly sent a repo man to collect the Bently that he had gifted to Saweetie before their recent breakup; however, TMZ reports that this is untrue. “Sources directly connected to Quavo” have told the publication that it is “flat-out false.”

The media outlet MTO originally reported on the story, claiming that the Migos rapper sent a repo man to reclaim the $350,000 car that he gifted her in December 2020. MTO explained that an “insider” claims that the Bentley was leased in Quavo’s name and he had an agreement with the dealership saying he could end the lease early for a fee.

Regardless of the story appearing to turn out to be false, fans on Twitter had a field day reacting to the rumors.

The couple called it off, earlier this week, after Saweetie hinted that Quavo was unfaithful: “I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band-aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”

In response, Quavo criticized her for publicizing the situation: “I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time. I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives. I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best.”

LeBron James showed his support for Benny The Butcher, ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers matchup with the Atlanta Hawks, Saturday. James uploaded a video of himself jamming to Benny’s “Overall” off of his new album, The Plugs I Met 2.

The new album released on Friday, March 19th, and is a follow-up to Benny’s 2019 project, The Plugs I Met. James has shown his love for Benny’s music on social before.

During the Lakers’ loss, James suffered a high ankle sprain after colliding with Solomon Hill, who was attempting to steal the ball. 

“Nothing angers and saddens me more than not being available to and for my teammates!” he tweeted after the game. “I’m hurt inside and out right now. The road back from recovery begins now. Back soon like I never left.”

Following James’ exit, there was speculation regarding Hill’s play being a genuine basketball move. Multiple Lakers criticized Hill’s action on the play, while the Hawks’ forward defended himself on social media later that night.

“Would never disrespect the game and take a player out purposely… he knows that,” Hill tweeted Saturday. “That’s all that matters to me. praying for a speedy recovery. #riptothementionstho #moredmsthansaweetie.”
