Gillette Is Reclaiming “Pubic Hair” In Viral Ad With An Animated Singing Pube

Gillette Venus has come out with a new line of products for pubic hair and skin, and they’ve taken a rather unique approach to advertising it. Most razor and shaving products opt for a spa and flowery theme while saying things like “great for all hair,” and simply showing bare legs and arms. Gillette took a brave leap forward and decided to animate a single pubic hair that sings about, well, pubic hair, and the general taboo around the word.

The ad starts out with the title, “A Song for Pubes by Pubes,” before zooming into a shower, to show a lonely hair sitting on the ledge of the soap dish, but instead of it looking gross like the taboo might dictate, it’s a cute little animation of a curly black hair that’s seemingly genuinely sad it isn’t another type of hair.

Consisting of lyrical wordplay such as “oh what’s a curl to do” the cartoon fights against shunning the hair in under your underwear, with lyrics like “It’s okay to say our name / You really can say pubic / No need to be ashamed.”

Needless to say, the reactions to this new jingle are mixed. While some people love the ad, calling it a “masterpiece,” others still do not like the fact that the word “pubic” is being said on primetime TV. Nonetheless, that would simply prove that the song’s message is correct: people just don’t like acknowledging pubic hair and deem it as inappropriate, even though everyone has it.

Is this the beginning of a new era of pubic-hair-positivity that will take over the world? Or will this just be a funny commercial to look back at in 5 years? Only time will tell.

Luh Kel Flexes His Jewelry & Face Mask Collection On “In My Bag”

Even though Drake has been rocking a heart on his head in anticipation for his long-awaited sixth studio album, he’s not the only Certified Lover Boy in the music industry. Enter Luh Kel, a 19-year-old singer-songwriter with an ear for warm melodies and a penchant for writing heartfelt love songs. After dropping the 14-track album L.O.V.E. last fall, Luh Kel has continued to treat his fans with singles such as “I Wish,” “7:26am,” and “F Love.”

A few months after Mario Judah literally got into his rockstar back, the up-and-coming St. Louis artist paid HNHH a visit for a brand new episode of In My Bag, and in under three minutes, the “F Love” singer-songwriter shows viewers everything that he “can’t manage” without.

When unpacking the contents of his sleek Black leather Lacoste bag, Luh Kel shows that he always keeps some face masks and hand sanitizer with him, showing that he’s still taking the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic pretty seriously. “Make sure you keep some hand sanitizer!” the L.O.V.E. artist jokes as he takes the opportunity to quickly lather some on mid-episode.

Kel also reveals that he often carries mouthwash just in case his breath takes a turn for the worse while he’s around women. Of course, the St. Louis artist carries essentials such as weed, phone chargers, and headphones. Furthermore, his bag is also likely to double as jewelry storage at any given moment, whether it be for his Johnny Dang-created grill, his one-tone Audemars Piguet, or his flashy Luh Kel chain.

Damian Lillard Reveals Why Steph Curry Shouldn’t Be MVP

Steph Curry had a great season with the Golden State Warriors and while the team still has to get into the playoffs, many are debating whether or not Curry should be the MVP. He had to carry the Warriors on his back this season especially with the team dealing with so many injuries to key players. The only reason why the Warriors are in eighth right now is because of Curry’s performances, and many believe that this is good enough to get him the coveted MVP award.

While speaking to The Athletic, fellow star and point guard Damian Lillard actually made a case against Curry. While Lillard acknowledges just how well Curry played, he also noted that Nikola Jokic was better and that you’ve got to give the award to the guy who is in a better playoff position. Dame even likened the debate to last season, when no one wanted to give him MVP because the Blazers were in eighth.

“I think Steph has had a great season. Obviously, there has to be a conversation about him being in the conversation. But I don’t think he wins it. At the eight seed, I just don’t see how that works,” Dame explained. “Last year, it was people like (ESPN’s) Stephen A. (Smith saying) ‘Man, I love what Dame is doing but he can’t be the MVP because they’re the eighth seed.’ You know what I’m saying? But last year, I averaged 30 points and eight assists on 46 (percent) from the field, 40 from the three-point line and 90 from free throw (it was actually 88.8). But last year, they’re like, ‘Man, we can’t consider him an MVP because they’re the eighth seed.’ And now it’s like it’s ok. For me, that’s the way that I’m looking at it”

As of right now, it is looking more and more likely that the MVP will go to Jokic although a lot can change between now and the vote. Regardless, Curry played phenomenally well this season and no one is going to dispute that.

Nicki Minaj Reflects On Her Relationships With Drake And Lil Wayne In A New ‘Seeing Green’ Video

Nicki Minaj has worked with so many artists over the years, but she may share the closest bond with two of them: Lil Wayne and Drake. The trio has been through a lot together, as Minaj and Drake both launched their careers and first found major commercial success while working with Wayne and his Young Money Entertainment label. The trio reunited recently on “Seeing Green,” a new song shared as part of a reissue of Minaj’s early-career mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty. Now Minaj has shared a new behind-the-scenes video for the song, which doubles as a look back on her relationships with Wayne and Drake.

Aside from recent clips of Minaj showing off various looks, the video also features images and videos, both recent and from various other points in her career, of herself with Drake and/or Wayne. The video isn’t really much of a behind-the-scenes look at how “Seeing Green” was made, but it does serve as a touching display of how much Minaj values what she has been through with Wayne and Drake.

After the song was released, Minaj admitted that both Drake and Wayne bested her on the song, writing, “All I know is that they washed me on #SeeingGreen I’m a woman enough to admit when I’ve been washed on a track by the Greats [laughing emoji]. and it’s ok #Barbz I’ve washed them b4. We’ll live through this one. I was still a lil rusty. I washed them in my head on #Fractions.”

Fousheé Transforms Depeche Mode’s ‘Enjoy The Silence’ Into A Sultry R&B Tune

Fousheé’s music has been turning heads ever since a sample of her song, which later became “Deep End,” blew up on TikTok. In the months following, Fousheé remained hyper-focused on her artistry, releasing more tunes and even teaming up with Lil Wayne for a track. Now, the singer has another exciting project on the horizon — a campaign video for H&M’s summer clothing line.

Fousheé’s music is the soundtrack for a video to the clothing company’s new campaign, Find The Strength In Silence. It’s a cover of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy The Silence,” which she transformed from a synth-heavy anthem into a more sultry R&B tune. In press materials for the campaign’s accompanying film, which was shot in LA, it’s described as standing “for the women who face public opinions daily.”

The project follows an exciting accomplishment for the singer. After “Deep End” went viral on TikTok, the song began racking up streams. Thanks to its viral success, the song achieved a peak at No. 10 on Billboard‘s Alternative Airplay chart after hovering on the chart for sixteen weeks. The new spot marked the first time a Black woman occupied the chart’s top ten in 32 years. The last person to achieve the feat was Tracy Chapman for the song “Crossroads,” which hit the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart’s top ten in 1989.

Foushée Covers Depeche Mode’s 1990 Track “Enjoy The Silence”

Over the past year, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Foushée has been steadily proving that she is one of the most important rising artists to watch. Following the release of her 2020 single “Deep End,” the New Jersey-born artist has collaborated with Lil Wayne on multiple records, including Weezy’s introspective single “Ain’t Got Time” and her recent single “gold fronts.”

Now, in honor of H&M’s new summer campaign, Foushée has shared a contemporary take on Depeche Mode’s classic 1990 song “enjoy the silence.” Titled Find The Strength In Silence, H&M’s campaign is accompanied by a film that represents women who face public opinions every day, and to coincide help convey themes of “canceling out the noise” and “finding strength in silence,” Foushée’s reimagined version of “enjoy the silence” will serve as the film’s soundtrack.

Ironically, Foushée’s new blast from the past arrives weeks ahead of her highly anticipated project Time Machine, which the talented multihyphenate describes as “a time travel through memories, thoughts, emotions, [and] experiences.” Set to release on June 4th, Time Machine will feature her previously heard single “Deep End.”

Give Foushée’s “enjoy the silence” a listen and let us know how her cover stacks up against Depeche Mode‘s original version.

Words like violence break the silence
Come crashing in into my little world
Painful to me, pierce right through me
Don’t you understand? Oh, my little girl

Danny Masterson’s Ex-Girlfriend Testifies That She Woke Up To Him Raping Her

Day one of Danny Masterson’s preliminary trial revolving around his sexual assault charges revealed some explicit details from accuser Jen B. Day two involved the testimony of another accuser, who the Los Angeles Superior Court have identified as Christine B. Christine B. is an ex-girlfriend of Masterson.

While on the stand, Christine B. recalled an incident that took place in 2001. At the house she shared with Masterson at the time, Christine B. was woken out of her sleep to find her then boyfriend, Masterson, sexually assaulting her. She made attempts to stop him from raping her, but he overpowered her.

Christine B. explained to the court, “He wouldn’t stop. So I did something that I knew would make him angry and likely to get off me. I pulled his hair.” During Jen B.’s testimony on day one of the preliminary trials, she had told Los Angeles Superior Court that she tried to end Masterson’s assault by punching him.

This tactic did not work for Christine B. When she tried pulling his hair, Masterson reportedly struck her and spat on her. Christine B. told the court, “He had this thing about his hair, so I knew if I pulled it really, really hard, he would get off me. But what he did was hit me.” A month later, Masterson raped her again while she was unconscious.

Similarly to accuser Jen B, Christine B. belonged to the Church of Scientology. Christine B. reported Masterson’s repeated assaults on her to the ethics officials of the church, although the church denies the allegations. The Church of Scientology also denied all of Jen B.’s claims.

After day two, Masterson faces one more day of preliminary hearings. After the hearings, Los Angeles Superior Court will make a decision whether or not the sexual assault charges against Masterson will go to trial. The That 70’s Show actor faces charges from allegations that were made against him from 2017, for incidents of rape that took place between the years 2001 and 2003.

If you or anyone you know has experienced sexual assault, help is available. Please call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-4673.
