Floyd Mayweather Vs. Logan Paul Fight Dubbed A “Sham” By Twitter

Last night, Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather engaged in what was supposed to be an incredible boxing event. Fans were hoping for one of two things to happen: a Logan knockout upset, or a masterclass from Floyd that would put Logan on the ground. In the end, fans got neither of those, as Mayweather simply took it easy for all eight rounds, all while Logan was seen missing his punches and moving around like a Wii Sports boxing character.

At the start of the fight, it was clear that Mayweather had very little interest in actually trying as he simply let Logan swing a few times while dodging every single punch. Paul rarely ever played defense on Floyd as his arms were constantly swinging below his torso. This allowed Mayweather to connect some solid shots, although Paul ate them surprisingly well.

By the end of the eight rounds, Logan was still on his feet, and to his credit, he survived. However, many fans on social media were upset about the fight and just how low effort it came across as. In the tweets below, many fans questioned why anyone would actually pay for such a fight and that at the end of the day, Paul and Mayweather successfully finessed everyone into thinking this was actually going to be a real show.

Needless to say, Floyd and Logan aren’t exactly in everyone’s good graces right now, although we’re sure they’re quite alright with that considering they just made a significant bag.

As for streaming, Exodus was played over 22 million times by fans. Since his death, X’s streaming numbers have risen by over 1,000%.

Beatz recently spoke about the creation of the new project, with GQ:

The way I’m showing up now is the way that I’ve been showing up for years. It’s not even nothing new to me. I don’t deserve credit for it because other people weren’t doing it because I’m just doing what I’m supposed to do. And so, me going all out and pulling out all of the stops and all of the names to celebrate with him and even these listening sessions and all these interviews… It’s what I’m supposed to do. And I’m happy to do what I’m supposed to do for my brother.

Floyd Mayweather & Logan Paul Go All Eight Rounds In Exhibition Match

The highly anticipated exhibition between YouTuber Logan Paul and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather went the distance, Sunday night, with both fighters trading blows for eight rounds.

The exhibition opened with a performance from the Migos and Moneybagg Yo while both fighters were introduced.

While the fight went all eight rounds and was not scored, the undefeated Mayweather was clearly the better fighter; however, Paul did remain standing throughout.

Mayweather called Paul a “tough” opponent and remarked, “He was better than I thought he was. We had fun. … Tonight was a fun night.”

Despite not toppling the boxing legend, Paul was ecstatic after the fight to have gone the distance with one of the sport’s greatest athletes of all time.

“This is one of the greatest moments of my life,” Paul said after the match. “I’m happy. It’s an honor to grace the ring with him.”

He added: “This is the coolest thing ever, I’m happy I made it out … he’s tough to hit.”

Earlier in the night, former NFL wide receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson took on former MMA fighter Brian Maxwell.

King Von’s Uncle Speaks On The Death Of Lil Durk’s Brother, OTF DThang

King Von’s uncle, Range Rover Hang, reacted to the news that Lil Durk’s older brother, OTF DThang was shot and killed, Sunday, at the age of 32. Range says Durk needs to stop mentioning dead people in his music because it is causing more violence.

“I fuck with Durk,” he prefaced his video.

He explained: “I fuck with his music. His movement. He making money. I’m not hating. I love to see what he’s doing. Shorty up $30, $40 million like I love to see that because I’m from one block, he’s from the next block over. My daddy used to hang with Durk’s daddy.”

From there, he explained that everything was fine before Durk began namedropping people in his music.

“Durk steady saying these n****s names in songs like you don’t have to do that bro,” Range said. “This what got his brother shot. I’m not going to say killed because I don’t know if he dead.”

Cook County officials confirmed to TMZ that DThang was found dead on the 7900 block of S. Loomis Blvd. in Chicago. Other reports say that he was shot in the head outside of a nightclub. An autopsy has yet to confirm the cause of death.

Brian Maxwell Knocks Down Chad Johnson Ahead of Mayweather Vs. Paul

Former NFL wide receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson was dropped by his opponent, ex-MMA fighter Brian Maxwell, in the fourth round of their exhibition match, Sunday. The fight was an undercard for the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather-Logan Paul fight.

While no winner was decided, with there being no judges, the fight made for an interesting warm-up for the main event, later tonight.

“Ask the world who Brian Maxwell is now?” Maxwell said after. “Brian Maxwell is here.”

Terrell Owens was ringside for the fight.

“I had fun. I had two months to get ready for this,” Johnson said. “Thank you to God, thank you to Floyd Mayweather and thank you to Brian. My life has always been about taking chances and doing crazy stuff. This one was just one of my bucket lists and that’s a message to people to get out there and live and not be afraid to fail. It’s OK.”

Johnson, who last played in the NFL in 2012, recently said that he still believes he could be playing in the league.

“I don’t think they would do it for the simple fact that they know I’m in tiptop shape and I would probably make the team,” Johnson said. “And I’m not trying to be arrogant. I’m not trying to be cocky. I could make all 32 teams if given the opportunity…”

Zendaya’s Role As Lola Bunny In “Space Jam: A New Legacy” Revealed: Fans React

A new ad for Space Jam: A New Legacy has revealed Zendaya’s role as the iconic Lola Bunny and fans online have had mixed reactions. Zendaya’s involvement in the film was first revealed by Entertainment Weekly back in April.

The new ad is filmed in the vein of an ESPN 30-for-30 presentation titled “The Bunny & The GOAT.”

The film’s director, Malcolm D. Lee, recently said that Zendaya’s portrayal will move away from the “very sexualized” depiction of Lola in the original film and instead “reflect the authenticity of strong, capable female characters.”

“I love Zendaya so much, but damn her voice doesn’t fit Lola,” one user wrote.

Another explained: “I hope this isn’t the final result because the mixing is def off. Also, her voice needs more personality. She always sounds like this don’t disappoint me Zendaya.”

One user defended Zendaya, saying “Did y’all expect Zendaya not to sound like Zendaya I’m confused.”

Jason Kidd Withdraws From Consideration For Trail Blazers Head Coaching Job

Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd says he will not take over the head coaching position for the Portland Trail Blazers in the wake of Terry Stotts’ departure. Blazers star guard Damian Lillard has said he wanted the team to bring in Kidd for the role.

“Portland’s a first-class organization and will have great candidates for its head coaching job, but I’ve decided not to be one of them,” Kidd told ESPN, Sunday. “Whoever they choose will have big shoes to fill from Terry [Stotts].”

Kidd, a Hall of Fame point guard, has experience serving as the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks in his time since retiring as a player. He joined the Lakers in 2019 and won the 2020 NBA Championship with the organization.

“Jason Kidd is the guy I want,” Lillard told Yahoo Sports on Friday night.

With Kidd out of the picture, ESPN reports that the team will pursue Jeff Van Gundy, Chauncey Billups, Mike D’Antoni, and Juwan Howard. They have yet to officially request permission to speak to any candidates.

Under Stotts, the Blazers maintained a 402-318 record through his nine seasons as head coach.

“I have the utmost respect for Terry and what he has accomplished these past nine seasons,” president of basketball operations Neil Olshey said in a statement. “This was a difficult decision on both a personal and professional level but it’s in the best interest of the franchise to move in another direction.”
